"Big breakfast buffet, but they allowed food to sit too long. Sunny-side up eggs not runny; bacon over-done and tough. Pool was terrific, large and with a strong jet. Sauna was great, too ... hot tub, however, was tepid. "Parking available" means at a charge ... €7 a day, so nominal. Good ..."

"Ballybur is absolutely gorgeous! Such attention to details. Feels fancy, but still very comfortable..we loved our time there- it was an easy spot to visit Kilkenny, Cashel and the surrounding area from!"

"This Ballybur is great. Gated, safe,quiet, clean, washer dryer a big big plus. Your own apartment on a long journey. Mel and Mark are great Host. We even shared a ride into Kilkenny to see a concert with them. Highly recommend staying here."

If travelling by public transfer, you’ll have a good 10 minute walk to the hotel. Ask any of the local people the directions and they are more than happy to help with directions. Lovely little town with beautiful scenery and lovely people.
