“cheap for a reason”

very cheap hotel, but ...no comment, comfort like in army. I have been there only one afternoon. close to airport.

“Good for 2 stars!”

The hotel was nice for a 2 star hotel; very reasonable. The staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was simple, cereals or breads/cheeses, juice/coffee. The breakfast lady was very sweet. The rooms were simple with rather firm beds and pillows. Limited tv. I felt the bathroom should have been cleaner. The sink ran quite slow. The hotel is in a residential area but only a short walk to restaurants on the waterfront. Make sure to try Alexanders just down from the castle or Panos Steakhouse. Chris' is also great for souvlaki! Many residents of the hotel are there for winter/summer stay from Russia.

Area recommendations
In Larnaca, the waterfront and castle, as well as the church of St Lazarus are great. Cyprus is loaded with great beauty: ancient ruined cities(by Limasol) and prehistoric/medieval history in stunning countryside. In March all of the wildflowers are in bloom while Mt Olympos is still covered in snow. Meanwhile, excellent beaches on the coast of that amazingly blue Mediterranean Sea. World Heritage site painted churches in the Triodos area(icons). Aphrodite's birthplace is near Paphos. To fully enjoy, rent a car but remember you drive on the left as in the UK. It is easy to cross into the Turkish part, but check with your rental car company as extra insurance is needed. Famagusta is a walled city with historic buildings. We had no problems whatsoever! Lefkosia has a walled city and is divided; it's a little more gritty, but worth it. The Great Mosque is beautiful in the Turkish part. Food/gas is expensive; plan on about 50 euros each time you need to eat or fill up.

“cheap & cheerful”

Whilst the room was very basic it had everything we needed, including full kitchenette facilities and ensuite bathroom and A/C. Pool and sauna also available. Could not fault anything other than no variation in breakfast choices. Good hotel, cheap and basic but very good value for money.

“Too hot...”

t wasn't ready for the hot days...And I didn't like the breakfast and dinner procedure...People was not friendly.Except the reception ...She did her best (Cypriot receptionist.) Thank you anyway. I could come back. Without having meal.

“We would use this hotel again!!”

The staff at the reception were very helpful. However, the staff never entered our room to change our towels or make our beds, the entire time we were there. The breakfast was great value for the money and we did enjoy the location of the hotel!! It gave us an excuse to do more walking, as we weren't that close to the beach. We would return without a problem, because this hotel was great value for our money!!

Area recommendations
We enjoyed the city of Larco as well as Nicosia. We were only in Cyprus for two days and hope to see more of the island next time we are there.
Must see
We crossed over the Turkish border and enjoyed shopping at their market. We purchased very good material to upholster our dining room chairs. We were very surprised at their great prices!!

“Great price, not bad hotel. I will go back”

The hotel was amazingly inexpensive, I can't really understand why. The conditions are similar to a youth hostel, except you get your own room. The breakfast is really basic, almost not worth mentioning. But the price is so low that you can skip it without flinching. At the time of our stay the Russian national bicycle team was using the place as their apartment. I was hesitant at first, we stayed there on two separate occasions and will certainly go back. A basic hotel, less than half the price of other places we stayed, and there weren't any real minuses, unless someone is looking for the comfort and feeling of something more.

“Good cheap and clean”

Good Hotel for the price, about 10mins walk to the dinning/bars area and the castle/church, the staff where polite and the rooms clean nothing fancy small tv/fridge and cooking stuffs, but who stays in there room on holidays anyway

“Last choice”

You can't sleep because you hear every noise , if someone is walking or closes the door . The isolation in this hotel is terrible . The bathroom was no good . The distance from the city more that I thought.

direct to the city of Larnaca . Not more than 300 meters away from the centrum. the city is small and all the bars and cofe's are in a small area concetrate .

“No lock on the window?”

I had a good overall impression mainly because of the friendly hotel staffs although I was surprised to find no lock on the window facing the patio.
