Very run down place. My first room had cockroaches and a giant centipede in the toilet. They changed my room, but I was totally freaked out. Very minimalist breakfast too. Wouldn't recommt. Try something cheap near Chenang Mall...

Breakfast area looked dirty. It was 9:50 am that I showed up for breakfast which is until 10:00 am and they already took everything out, I had to ask twice to have something out to eat. Wifi didn't work. There was barely anybody else staying in the hotel. The tv didn't work. The water in the pool looked greenish, so didn't go in. The beach is not for swimming. Nothing around the area, just the airport. The noise from the planes didn't bother me. Some of the pictures on the internet aren't realistic. The only good thing was that at least the few staff members that worked there were smiling and nice.

Quiet and peaceful
The room is spacious and reasonably clean. I love sitting at the beach waiting for the sunset. When I checked in, it was raining and water were dripping at 2 spots in the room. My other concern is mosquitoes at night in the room. Had to buy and spray before sleeping the next night. Also, there was something knocking in the ceiling the first night. Not sure whether it's a bird or squirrel. At first I loved the open bathroom but the mosquitoes and honestly a little bit creepy if you want to go to the toilet at night. The shower curtain looks a bit shabby. Other than that, I think the price is affordable and much better than some places that I have stayed in Langkawi.

it was a nice stay for two nights and the hotel staff was friendly, the flower garden and swimming pool looks beautiful. it has restaurant with sea view. overall it was a good experience except for the noise of flights landing becoz it was nearby airport.

We were the only guests staying in the place. It is only a 5-minutes drive from the airport. Quite easy to find. I was not pleased when the owner/?receptionist failed to be sensitive to the fact that I am a Muslim and I do not like being in contact with dogs (i love dogs, dont get me wrong) because then I cannot use my pants for praying purposes. I did suggest him to control his little puppy (cute and friendly) but he just ignored me. So, if you dont like dogs/cannot touch them (for whatever reasons), just be aware of this. Apart from that, we booked a pool-view room and he gave us the farthest room which was facing the tree (despite us being the only guests around!). I had to request for a change because that was not what we pictured when we booked the room. There was a problem with the sliding door lock, aircond and shower head but it was quickly fixed by the management when I complained. The bathroom was pretty and I loved it. WiFi didnt reach our room. The sunset view from the resort was serene and beautiful, unlike Cenang where it was crowded. The breakfast served was also nice, because you get to enjoy it by the sea.

Nice, clean and comfortable room. Open air bathroom. Few meters from beach. Beach isn't clean. Greate restaurant. Good wi fi connection. If you want to explore island you need to rent a car or bike. Additionally, taxi is great option and return drive is from 40RM. Hotel is near the airport and maybe you can be interrupted by airplane noise.

The staff is wonderful
This resort is just beside the airport, so it is very convenient. We were concerned about the airplane noise, but once inside the room, we didn't even notice the airplanes. We had a sea facing room, which was very nice. The resort is quite new, but does need some small maintenance done, but on the whole, it was a very pleasant stay. The rooms are very large with almost wall-to-wall sliding glass doors to take advantage of the sea view. The bathroom is completely outside, but has privacy and is very nicely outfitted with a rain shower and vessel sink. The rooms were very clean. The bed is a bit hard for Western standards, but it typical of Asia. The best part of the resort, however, is the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed and to arrange outings or taxis for us. Ida and Ain were the front desk ladies and by the time we left, we felt like family. The were amazing, sweet, and loving. The restaurant chef/waiter was also wonderful. I have serious food allergies and he only had to be told once about them. He would change things to suit my dietary needs and would let me know if anything could possibly be of concern to me. Although not close to the main beaches, this resort has a small beach which is very quiet and peaceful and away from the tourist throngs. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would gladly go again!

Slightly concerning bathroom door.
The hotel is lovely and would be perfect for couples. It has it's own restaraunt with a view overlooking the ocean and the sunset. However it is worth noting that the staff advice that you can't swim at the beach which having seen the photo's I was expecting that you could. The bathroom/shower is semi outdoor which is wonderful... however, the bathroom door locks from the outside. So, if locked - someone in the room can't get into the bathroom without a key, but some one in the bathroom can walk straight into the room, even if it is 'locked'. Which means that you can easily jump a wooden fence or the wall from the ajorning room into the bathroom and gain immediate access to the room. Which is not a good thing. Also the hotel never received my reservation from Expedia, which sounded like a common problem for them. Also make sure you make it clear to the Taxi drivers which D'Coconut is your hotel as there seems to be a few name variations and some confusion if you aren't insistent as to where you are going. Wifi is common areas only, not rooms.

Beautiful place, far from Cenang Beach
This one is a boutique hotel, naturally decorated! You will find plenty of green - there are lots of trees all around. It's beside a sea, you will be able to watch the waves while grabbing your food! The people here are friendly. It's a calm and quite place, except the the moment when plane arrives and departs as it is near to the airport. I would love to go there again, however, I faced two issues. One of them is wifi, it was not always available to my room. Second one is the distance from Cenang Beach. It is a pretty isolated place and every-time you want to go to town, you need to spend 25 + 20 = 45 RM both way. If you rent a car and like to drive, then it won't be an issue and you must stay here!

My first impression was that it was too far from everything,but after being in Langkawi for a few hours, I realized that the setting and location was perfect. You need to rent a car or motorbike though,otherwise taking taxis is fairly expensive. We were the only guests. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was not good. The property is beachfront and private--very nice. The hotel has great potential but lacks a few things, like a mirror in the bathroom, wi-fi in the rooms, and poor cable television. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, but felt that it is overpriced compared to similar properties.

This hotel is a fair way away from cenang beach but thats ok if you have a rental car or motorcycle. right next to airport so planes can be a bit noisy but not all that bad i thought. no wifi in rooms but have in the lobby area which is just a bit outdoor patio with fans... was getting 50mbps though so streaming was easy. the beach is ok but needs cleaning. the room itself is more like a homestay without a kitchen....aircon struggles to keep room cool although we had really hot days whilst there.the pool was nice though...good for laps ....i think it was about 50m long....although the tiling for the pool seemed to be done out of discounted domestic bathroom tiles from a hardware store also the grout seemed to coming out of the tiles as there where some sharp edges of the tiles. i personally think the price was a little too high for what you got....there are closer alternatives in cenang beach for cheaper. This hotel was almost empty except for 2 other guests but i guess maybe the distance to town has something to do with that.

Nestled on a private beach, and I mean private. If you want to get away from the crowds, this is a great place to stay. Walking distance to the airport and only a short 5 minute drive to Cenang.

Fine hotel on a budget
D'Coconut Villas is a really pleasant place to stay, especially if you're looking for quiet and friendly staff. It's not located to anything notable, like restaurants or the downtown, so you'll need to rent a scooter, which the hotel staff kind enough helped me do. I think without transport the stay would've been significantly less enjoyable, since I would've felt hemmed into the hotel's premise, which isn't very large (aside from a hotel restaurants, which is OK, there's not much). Another downside: D'Coconut Villas is very close to the airport, which means you can hear planes coming and going. To be fair, the island is small and you can hear planes from most places. While my partner and I were at first disappointed about how close we were, we ultimately decided that the proximity didn't detract from our stay.

Quiet, lovely, cute but luxurious cabins
The villas are fully surrounded by high walls so you are in your own courtyard. Big, soft beds with nice linens and pillows make them the perfect place to lay about when you are tired from adventuring around Langkawi. They have 3 satellite channels in English, TLC, NatGeo, AXN. The private bathrooms are open-air outside, I loved them but not everyone will. They are ten min from the main shops/restaurants/beach area of cenang, It is a 20 ringgit taxi ride, but we loved being off that loud busy strip of tourists. The grounds of D'Coconut are perfection with the restaurant practically on the ocean and the perfect view of every sunset. There is only wifi in the hotel reception area, but it is a nice place to sit with tables and sofas of every size. The pool was lovely too. The staff were very sweet and friendly. Just a great place and a perfect stay.

Eigentlich eine schöne Anlage, aber schlecht gepflegt. Sauberkeit ungenügend, kein täglicher Reinigungsservice. Frühstück mehr als basic. An sich ruhig, wenn man davon absieht, dass die Anlage direkt am Rollfeld des Flughafens liegt. Fluglärm mal mehr, mal weniger - je nach Tageszeit. Ziemlich weit außerhalb von Cenang, aber kein Restaurant. Keine Empfehlung.

Close to the beach. Close to the airport.
It was a nice stay with a good view from your own Bungalow. Unfortunately I never tried the breakfast. The stuff is nice and helpful. But it's recommend to use Uber/Grab or have an own vehicle if you stay in this place, because you need to drive few kilometers to reach restaurants or shipping places. All in one good value

First good things: +staff was smiling and friendly +nice view to the sea +breakfast is eatable: toast, coffee, juice, eggs, sausage, beans.. Not so good things: -no wifi in the room, only in common areas! Last day wifi just stopped working completely in common areas too. We said about it, and it did not started working again - super dirty pool and poor maintenance, I think no one has been in pool for very long time. We were disgusted -lots of, I mean lots of spiders in all area of hotel, also inside hotel room. No other hotel here in langkawi has had not even one spider so this is some kind of spider area then - plants and everything around hotel room and hotel have had very poor maintenace. Dead plants etc, kind of looking sad to be honest, looks like they run out of money and no one cares anymore -nothing near the hotel but the beach -beach area is strange. Little beach and lot of stuff that has been just dumped on the beach area, poor maintenance. -some portions in restaurant were so small that you almost got angry for eating so little and that is bad because there is no other place to eat unless you walk to other beach and eat streetfood laksa(which was awful there by the way) -expensive water, 3 ringgit per 0,5 liters. All in all, find somewhere else to stay. Dont waste your money here if you can choose.

Very symphatic place with friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay of 4 nights. Places are clean and the restaurant by the beach is nice, especially for enjoying the sunset. First impression was little bit disappointing but we ended up for staying 4 nights instead of 2. I recommend for all who want to be close to cenang beach but not actually there, and have easy going holiday. However, some minuses are breakfast, plane noises and sometimes the beach restaurant plays music very loudly.

Lentokentän lähellä oleva paratiisi
Jouduin lähtemään lennolle vasta seuraavana päivänä, joten otin hotellin johon pääsin kävellen. En olettanut ihan liikoja tältä hotellilta, mutta toisin kävi. Hotellin palvelu oli aivan loistavaa. Ravintola rannalla oli erittäin iso positiivinen yllätys. Allas oli ehkä ainoa miinus minkä keksin koko paikasta, mutta erittäin hyvä majoitus muutamalle päivälle!

海が近いってこと以外何もない
値段が安かったので、ある程度は覚悟してましたが、海が近いってこと以外何もないです。 その海も透明度は悪いです。 また、空港に近いため、飛行機の音もあります。　 サンセットが自慢のレストランも朝食のみの営業でした。 一番のネックは近くにレストランやお酒を買うところが全くないところ笑 Uber使いまくりです笑 あと、部屋はあまりきれいではないので、きれい好きなひとは向かないかも。 スタッフは感じ良いです。

Nice hotel but lonely
We spent a few days there, had a pool for our own, got all varieties of eggs in the morning and had a photosession at the beach- we did not swim there bc noone , really, noone was there so we were kinda scared. So in the whole hotel, there was noone but us the whole time. First, we found that was creepy but lately be saw that we had the pool, the beach and the staff for our own. So we enjoyed.

Personnel au TOP ! très accueillant, serviable et souriant Chambre spacieuse rend mieux en vrais que sur les photos. très belle vue de la plage et douche extérieure agréable. Le plus beau coucher de soleil de langkawi. Les points négatifs. Plage sans intérêt avec quelques détritus (bouteilles, rasoir...) Éloigné du centre ville mais reste accessible facilement en taxi (entre 8 et 10Rm par course uber) Propreté de la chambre (sachet de sucre vide par terre, ancien gel douche du précédent client, mouton de poussières sous le lit) Hôtel très mignon au premier abord mais qui mériterait de pofiner quelques détails, cependant très bon séjour tout de même

バイクや車がないと不便な場所だが、逆にバイクや車さえ借りれば最高な場所です。不便なところを挙げればキリがないが、本当にかわいくてなんだか田舎に帰ってきたような温かい場所です。 プラスポイント：海の景色、プール、可愛い部屋、海辺のカフェ、半屋外バストイレ、自然、適度な抜けてる感、スタッフの親切さ マイナスポイント：部屋のアメニティ（シャンプー、石鹸、歯ブラシなど）はほとんどない。笑

Hôtel et chambre bien, spacieuse et salle de bain ouverte très bien. Vue sur la mer agréable. Cependant, éloigné de tout et le personnel n'est pas très agréable (hors le gérant qui est discret mais sympathique). Prix élevé pour les prestations. Petit dej Pas top.

오픈형 객실을 좋아한다면.....
객실이 풀빌라 형태라서 좋은데 욕실과 화장실이 오픈형이고 객실과 연결된문이 잘 안잠겨서 안전상의 문제때문에 잠을 잘 못잤으며, 객실에서는 WIFI안됨, 직원원 친절하였고, 아침은 심플하지만 먹을만 했음.

Very nice place
The place is really nice. It's still under construction, but that doesn't really disturb. Rooms have a very nice design on bathrooms. Restaurant has GREAT tasting food. They could work on the service, the staff is actually not used to service so it's slow and not very accurate. Im sure this will be solved in the next couple of weeks. I really recommend going here if you want a day off or just want to eat great. Pick a day where they have live band at the beach bar!

Neue Bungalow Anlage mit viel Potenzial
Das Hotel mit den einzelnen Bungalows befindet sich scheinbar immer noch im Bau. Wir waren außerdem die einzigen Gäste. Der Ausblick aufs Meer und der Pool sind sehr toll, allerdings ist der Strand steinig und kein Badestrand. Der Stil ist schön und das außen angeschlossene Bad etwas Besonderes. Die Toilette war beim Check-In leider sehr verschmutzt, wurde aber nach kurzer Anmerkung gesäubert. Die Klimaanlage hat ab und zu getropft. Leider kann das Personal nur wenig englisch. Sehr angenehm war aber, dass wir unser Frühstück zum Zeitpunkt unserer Wahl auf die Terrasse bekommen haben. Der Cenang Beach ist ein paar Kilometer entfernt und mit dem Taxi relativ teuer zu erreichen. Mit einem Mietroller kann man die Insel sowieso besser erkunden.
