"This gorgeous pub/B&B, The Kings Arms is absolutely wonderful. My partner and I booked a weekend stay here (Friday to Monday) as a base whereby we could easily access attractions and nearby places we wanted to visit ie the Minack theatre, St Michaels mount, Mousehole and Penzance. The Kings Arms is located in Paul and is only a short walking distance to Mousehole. We had come down by train from Newton Abbot and during our stay we were able to use a local bus from Mousehole to get to Penzance bus...

"We arrived late and there was no-where open where we could eat . The Pirate Inn was also no longer serving meals but the chef very kindly made us fish and chips which we were very grateful for so top marks to him . All the staff were great and although room basic it was clean and comfortable . We were catching ferry to Isles of Scilly following day and it was ideal as parking for ferry is 5 mins away "

"A very clean and comfortable inn, but not a truly good hotel. The staff, while very nice and helpful, are not available much of the time, the location is somewhat far from the city center and there is no bus service, only taxis which do not operate all the time…I felt the place is truly an inn—mostly a bar/limited restaurant with some nice rooms to let…For guests with their own cars, I’m sure it is far more satisfactory.
