Had a comfortable room with a king-sized bed and a small en suite shower room, as well as a decent-sized flat screen TV. Bedding was clean and fresh and the room had decent-sized windows too .., good sea view over the road to the sea,
Friendly staff, smiling and cheerful,
Lovely staff. Very welcoming. Very nice room and very clean. The only negative is the traffic which starts passing around five in the morning but it is on a main road so it’s not surprising.

Hello Kevin
Thank you for your review. Yes on street parking can be limited however there is a large car park called Beach Green which is literally over the road.
Kind regards
Stayed just one night on the way to another destination. Had a room on the second floor overlooking the sea front but the traffic noise at the junction was loud. The bed was large but uncomfortable, so we didn't sleep well. The bistro area is lovely and we enjoyed breakfast. Parking is available at the council car park opposite, (£1.50 per day, April 2022) and the beach walks are lovely. There are a lot of cyclists using the promenade path, so be careful.

Located on a busy junction means there is a constant flow of traffic and the inevitable noise including lorries. The property is on a corner so three roads converge around a roundabout.
It is a pub with a large garden and rooms above the pub, basically.
The view from the front room is straight onto the seafront so sea views are lovely.
Super efficient and friendly, helpful staff and lovely breakfast. (charged on top of room).
TV didn't work too well so if you're planning to lounge around and watch TV with high tech equipment - maybe not for you.
Door to the room had one of those bright green emergency exit lights which didn't seem to turn off when sleeping - so I definitely recommend bringing an eye mask unless that kind of light on when sleeping doesn't bother you.
All in all very good value compared to Brighton prices and not having to pay for parking - which was available on the street - also helpful. Easy to check in and particularly recommend the staff working when I checked in; both of them were really lovely and super helpful.
This was a lovely surprise find. We were going to a party locally and the accommodation options were limited so we booked in and hoped for the best. This turned out to be a great choice, lovely views over the beach, nice clean room and very conveniently positioned. It was good value and we would recommend it for anyone looking for a good mid range/ B&B style stay.

Thank you so much Julie, we hope to see you both again soon :-)
Lovely place and very hospitable owners. Great food in restaurant. Pet friendly which is exactly what we wanted as we had been to a charity event for rescue dogs and had our pet dog with us. Only small gripe is that it is not advertised that there is a £20 surcharge if you have a dog staying with you but we didn't mind as it was a nice stay.

Paul, we are so happy to read such great comments.
My apologies the dog charge wasn't clear, I will try and sort this today, thank you for bringing this to my attention.
We are thrilled you had a nice stay overall :-)
Very friendly host/landlord Andy, food was excellent and bar staff helpful and attentive, room was comfortable and clean, we will be returning for our next trip down Lancing way.
Convenient location. A friendly welcome. Good beer and a good breakfast. The shower hose in one room was broken, causing it to only work in one position. It would have been useful to have been informed by Expedia that the name of the hotel has changed to the Beach Green Hotel. Fortunately one of our relatives lives nearby and had told us of the name change - otherwise we could have spent a long time looking!!
Prima hotel , met gezellige strand activiteiten vl
Prima hotel, goede service, nette kamer, super leuke menu kaart, vriendelijke en behulpzame bediening. Gezellige pub sfeer.

Bien
