This place looks modern and i picked it because of the good cleaning ratings. I can tell you this place was not clean at all. When we arrived and got a room it was stains and hair on the bedsheets this is what i was afraid of when booking, the floor was dirty i went and asked the front desk to move me to another room, second room air conditioner was making loud noise we couldn’t sleep much also if you want peace then don’t stay there. Road noise all night!! The lobby was disgusting it was super dirty last night when we arrived and a lot of young ppl there some running in hallways it was just out of control, did not see anyone at front desk, trash outside the building was filthy and everywhere on floor etc…. Breakfast was bad. Will not stay here again!

My son and I were greeted by Eric, at the front desk. They were super nice and let us check in way earlier than our check in time due to room availability. Eric explained how the grad and go breakfast worked and what the amenities were and how to get there. Comfortable beds and mostly clean rooms. My son and enjoyed the stay with only 15 minutes to Spooky Nook sports facility. Would stay again.

The colorfulness and the price attracted me to Avid. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the entire facility and the friendly staff. The breakfast was plentiful and hot. The location was perfect with shops, entertainment and eateries. It was a short distance from the mall and the Sight and Sound theater. There were table games to play, but I justed wanted to sit relax and look out of the window. That was my me time. My two teenage boys loved the gym. I am hoping to return to Pennsylvania next year and Avid IHG is the place that I will return to.

The rooms were smaller than the average hotel in my opinion. There was only a rolling desk chair because there was no room for a lounging type chair making it a bit uncomfortable to relax in the room.

This was a great hotel. One of the most comfy beds I have ever slept in during a hotel stay. The rooms were super clean. My only complaint the breakfast left a little to be desired.

We always choose to stay at Avid when we are in Lancaster because it is such a clean place and the staff are really friendly. The views from the room is also so beautiful. The pool is a bonus as well. My only two complaints -- their ice machine isnt working and the note on it said they arent able to get it to work, who knows how long that signs been on there. They can at least try to get it repaired or replaced. The other is they should have a laundry room for convenience.

Our ice machine just recently stopped working and we have ice in our freezer for any guests who might need some. The sign has been switched out stating that. When the Avid brand first started, guest laundry was not part of the design. We are going through a 21 room conversion and during that time we will also be adding a guest laundry to the hotel. My stay was not long but the receptionist on duty when I checked in on Christmas Eve was friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet and cozy just what anyone would need after a a 3 hour drive from New York.

Really nice place
This is the first time my wife and I have stayed at the Avid hotel. It was a very good experience. The room, bed and other areas of the hotel. The breakfast was as we expected. The hotel is close to the sights in the area and close to the shopping also. All in All, it was a good stay. We would recommend it to Senior citizens staying in Lancaster.

My stay was ok the bed was comfortable, The room was smaller than I expected but ok, also some of the walls in the room could use a little touch up with paint or something and if they could get those black and red bugs that come in from the outside under control that would be really good. The staff was really nice and helpful.
