Right beside the ocean!

Posted 20-Sep-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Mattress quality.
Location: All the touristy spots of Blackpool are right there. five pound taxi fare to train station too.
Very polite staff, walk across the street to the sea wall, the trolley runs all along the ocean so you can easily hop on for a two minute ride to the roller coasters or tower. Close to Blackpool train station too.

Hotel located slightly away from the main bustle

Posted 19-Sep-2014
Pros: Easy parking, proximity to where we wanted to be.
Cons: Room was very warm, unable to turn radiator off, and too noisy to sleep with the bedroom window open.
Location: North Pier reasonably close.
Breakfasts had everything you could want. Carvery dinner was good value compared to the usual fast food associated with Blackpool.

Blackpool Hilton

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: The facilities such as the pool.
Cons: Air conditioning in the rooms at the time of our stay it was warm weather but upon opening the windows all you could hear was the generators.
Location: It wasnt as close to the town centre as I would have liked but was within reasonable walking distance. At the time of the stay the lights had been.
I stayed for 2 nights - the staff where very helpful, the facilities where good and presentable. The room was comfortable and pleasurable to sleep in. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. It wasn't as close to the town centre as I would have liked but was within a reasonable walking distance.

Alittle disappointed

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: Dining area
Cons: Rooms updated
Location: Great location, 10 mins walk to North Pier.
2 rooms booked, but the rooms looked tired and dated - I was disappointed, stayed in lots of Hilton, but this was far inferior. The dining area and bar areas are great, the breakfast was lovely.

Two Nights in Blackpool

Posted 08-Sep-2014
Without doubt the best hotel in Blackpool by far! I would never consider any other accommodation should I return to Blackpool The staff were extremely friendly & most helpful The food & service excellent The Tower is a short walk away and there is a tram stop almost outside the front door should you not wish to walk I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Blackpool

Outdated rooms with no ac

Posted 07-Sep-2014
Good location for the Blackpool tower. 10/15 minutes walking distance. Lovely swimming pool at the hotel, good restaurants, okay breakfast- good selection but not hot food. The actual room was a big disappointment compared to the rest of the hotel. Very outdated look, furniture has marks and scratches on it. Hair dryer would have been suited better inside a museum. Tiny bathroom. No AC. Sweaty nights!

Hotel need's updating.

Posted 04-Sep-2014
Really good size room, unfortunately not a room with a sea view, would email the hotel to request this if I was planning to stay again - phoned but they were unable to help. Great location, worth paying to park in the car park, although quite a lot of street parking near by. Decor looks a bit dated, but excellent breakfast , run very efficiently by friendly staff.

The Worst Hilton I Have Ever Stayed At

Posted 31-Aug-2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: A lot, decor, food, cleanliness, staff I could go on
Location: Blackpool, just brilliant for the whole family
I stayed for one night BB with my husband and two young children. The beds where a large kingsize bed, a sofa bed and camp bed all in one room. The decor was very dated and the furniture very 1980's. The room its self was on the surface clean but when you looked a little harder it was quite dirty. The bathroom was basic and cramped again very 80's. I did take offence at being charged so that they delivered my room service and then again to park my car, the receptionist didn't quite understand why we was annoyed which annoys me even more! If I was going to Blackpool again I would search for a cheaper B&B, which was smaller and friendlier. Breackfast was the usual Buffett affair but a little dry and lacking freshness.

Hotel on the seafront

Posted 30-Aug-2014
Me and my daughter booked this hotel as a short break. The check in was easy and straightforward and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room itself was of a good standard and size, with everything clean and tidy. Even though I hadn't asked for a sea view, after looking past the laundry room, you had a view of the sea and illuminations. The only drawback was, as we were on the second floor, and the restaurant/bar is on the first floor, we could hear the nightly cabaret that played until 11.00 PM. The buffet breakfast every morning, was of high quality ingredients and plenty of choice. All in all, the hotel is of a high standard, and modern, and all the facilities are to a good standard.
