Large hotel close to the beach

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Pros: Good sea views from most windows. Large car park. Large lounge where you could buy a coffee or snack. Room very clean.
Cons: Car park cost £5 per night. It would be nice if this had been free to paying guests.
Location: We went to the Winter Gardens to see Cats. This was a short taxi ride away. Lots of restaurants and shops there.
We have had a lovely short break at the Hilton. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The staff were very kind and helpful. Very good breakfast. We didn't have an evening meal so can't comment. A short taxi or tram ride to the very centre or a ten minute stroll along the sea front. We would be happy to return.

Hotel was in an ideal location only a 10min walk from the city centre, tower and North pier. The room was comfortable and well equipped. All the staff were very friendly and helpful both in reception and at breakfast. The breakfast had a wide choice of food on offer both hot and cold all of which was delicious.

one of the best in Blackpool

Posted 21-Jul-2015
Pros: situation and the fact is was a Hilton branded hotel.
Cons: Bedrooms badly needing refurb,
only really booked there as it is one of the nicest in Blackpool, but as I thought the last time we stayed there a few years ago hotel is really needing a refurb! especially the bedrooms, rather dated and badly needing decorated certainly for a Hilton hotel. We had a rather pathetic shower in our room which had hardly any power with it at all and bath took forever to drain away, not handy when 2 adults and 2 children in room!

Nice hotel tram journey to pleasure beach, but...

But you have to pay for the parking which we were not made aware of when booking! Is £5 per day you pay upon checking out! Just a heads up.

Pros: Dinner was good but wine was expensive.
Cons: Rooms need updating.Location
Location: Location was ok in a quiet area.
Ok but I feel That Hilton hotels are living on past memories and need to spend and upgrade rooms and lifts.

Good hotel, great food and leisure facilities

Posted 12-Jul-2015
Pros: Restaurant, food, hotel staff and leisure club.
Cons: Rooms
Loved the restaurant, breakfast was to die for, great food. The hotel staff were excellent, the leisure club was very good. Rooms need sprucing up a bit. We stayed in the family room and the kids bunk mattresses were bad ( very lumpy). I think bring the rooms up to standard and you have got one great hotel.
