Perfect for Solo travelers
The Hotel isn't the most luxurious high end hotel, but the amenities are just fine for a person who is traveling alone, if you are visiting Lake Como there is a 98% chance that you wont be on the hotel until night to sleep. The included breakfast is great and less than 20 meters from the hotel you have a bus stop and about 200 meters you have the Ferry Station that connects to the rest of the towns around lake como. The staff is super friendly and helpful plus they speak English. You also have a mini market less than 50 meters from the hotel where you can get the bus tickets and anything else you may need. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it!

Great view of Lake Garda from the hotel, can see straight across to Vareena and Bellagio. Hotel is short walk from ferry stop Cadenabbia, which was great for visiting the nearby towns. Very well located. Hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Andrea and Silvia were wonderful hosts and the other guests we met there became friends. Laid back area since many of the larger hotels failed during covid but thankfully this gem survived. Get there before the crowds overwhelm the area.

Great Service
We arrived and were told that they did not have our reservation. After showing them the confirmation they decided to upgrade us. They were very helpful in telling us what to see and where to go. The place is located in a very convienent area. We enjoyed walking up and down the waterfront and having dinner. We thought that there service was top notch and a wonderful place to visit.

Cheap but incredible value
Incredible value on lake como, the hotel shows its age but for the price it honestly didn’t bother me at all. Restaurant served incredible food, bar outside with amazing beer, lake view was outstanding. Breakfast was included too! With a very large selection of products including fresh pastries and juices. I would happily stop again!

Simple, charming, and quiet spot in Grianfe, walkable from Tremezzo. Lovely charm! It took a one hour train travel by bus but we had such a good time! Breakfast is simple but it was very nice to have it with the rate.

We got a room with a magnificent view of Lake Como. Checkin was smooth and friendly staff. The breakfast was superb and delicious with a variety of fruits, yogurt, breads, cheeses etc to chose from. And the stops for Cadenabbia ferry or bus were just steps away.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, it's a bit older, but the rooms are good and the bathroom very big and with a window which can be opened. Our room had windows with lake view. But noisy at night as we were on the first floor and the road in front is quite busy, but after a while you get used to it.

We enjoyed our stay here as the owner is friendly and helpful, the area is great, the view from the bedrooms, like the picture here, is beautiful. My only caveat is that the property is in OK condition but it's also pretty old. Still I think the rate that we paid reflects this so overall I am happy. Would I stay here again. Yes, but I'm not sure if my wife would....

Overall was okay, only a pretty outdated facilities. There is no drinking water given in the room, the air cond we had in the room constantly making cracking noise during the night and affect our sleep significantly. The hotel is well located near the ferry that run to Bellagio.

Stay was okay for the price. Thought there would be a hot meal with breakfast but it was just bread and coffee and yogurt. It was next to a bar so it was loud until they started leaving cause of covid curfew. We were finally able to sleep after.

Very close walk from ferry, friendly and helpful staff, good food and bar right on property. Rooms are a bit small but clean and comfortable, ac worked well. View is amazing, next time, I would get a balcony room tho!

Great location, average hotel
The hotel was in a fantastic location, next to the lake with great views of the lake. The service was very god, all the staff were very polite and helpful. The condition of the hotel itself was not the best. The rooms were fairly old and needed updating. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the AC machine made an awful noise, so had to sleep with it off, which wasn't very pleasant.

The location is excellent - a beautiful few minutes walk to Tremezzina and restaurants, shops, and strolling along the lakefront. Very friendly staff and a very nice breakfast buffet.

Avoid at all costs
Terribly noisy from traffic and the restaurant. Strong smell of sewer in hotel and general area. Left two days early. Worst hotel of all trips to Europe.

Nice hotel in a great location, The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The Internet was very strong. Parking was easy and free. We had a great view of Bellaggio from our balcony. The hotel is that a great location near the Villa Carlotta and the boats on the lake. Next to the hotel is a snack bar that provides gourmet food and a nice selection of local beers and wine add an unbelievably low price. The price of the room was also a great bargain. My wife and I love this hotel and we stay in it every time we go to Lake Como.

Small room, amazing view from balcony
Small room but AMAZING VIEW. They upgraded us to a balcony room and that made it so much better. The balcony is worth it and absolutely recommend it. Buffet breakfast was very good too. Staff was very nice and accomodating.

Close to the water and the ferry stop
I liked the hotel location because it was just across the street from the lake. We had a lake view room and you could see the lake from all windows, even the bathroom. There is some street noise, but it was worth it to us to be on the lake side of the hotel. Also the short walk to the ferry was excellent.

We booked this hotel on the basis of the facilities and the reviews. Well the reviews seem accurate but the facitilies detailed on Hotel.com are NOT accurate. There is no private beach and the owner says he has never siad there was. You can however use the facilities of the neighbouring hotel by paying a fee.The staff are genuinely lovely and it is a shame to have to be negative regarding the description. The location immediately opposite Bellagio is also ideal.

Very good situation.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Riveria very much as staff very helpful and hotel very convenient. We were able to do a trip on Berninia train to St Moritz, drive to Lugano and sailed to various towns on the lakes.

Convenient location and friendly staff
I had a great visit. I stayed in a single room which was a good size, it was comfortable and had a nice bathroom. My room had views of the lake which was great to wake up to in the morning. The hotel is located right next to the ferry to Belagio ans Varena. There are 2 pools on the lake which are also very nice. The staff were very friendly, I got some suggestions on where to swim and some sites to visit on my first day there, and on my last day I had some transport problems, Sylvia on reception gave me the best help and recommendations. Very good value, I would suggest this hotel to everyone!

Quaint hotel next to the lake
The room was quite small but with the stunning view over the lake, this hotel was a lovely place to stay. The staff were all very friendly & their dining area by the lake was delightful. The location is excellent with a lido nearby. There's lots to see from stunning villas to the locations used while filming Casino Royal.
