Wonderful hotel. Service is excellent, the breakfast buffet a dream. Facilities new and clean, the garden quiet and relaxing. I wish they had a proper outdoor pool and it would be just perfect

Modern, elegant property with everything available to make it a most comfortable stay. Loved the indoor pool as lovely to unwind at the end of the day. The staff were very welcoming and very attentive especially at breakfast and dinner. Will come back again!

People who work at the hotel are super sweet and helpful. The hotel itself feels like a big chalet, chic and cozy. Really home away from home. Even the short drive to gondola didn’t bother me as it was organized and smooth.

We had an amazing time at Montana lodge. The level of service is excellent and we were made to feel truly welcome. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful in organising restaurants, ski hire, lessons and lift passes. We shall return!

Ski Trip, New Year 2020
Lovely modern hotel with beautiful views, great service from all the staff, the spa was amazing after a day on the ski slopes. The shuttle service to the gondola and back to hotel was very efficient.

My husband and I first stayed at Montana Lodge and Spa 3 years ago and left being thoroughly impressed. This time around though feelings have changed. Upon arriving this time around we felt the staff were a little clumsy, eager to impress but without knowing exactly how to go the extra mile. Do not misunderstand, the hotel is set in the perfect of settings. The rooms are cozy and the views amazing! The food is excellent! The pasta is exceptional and the tiramisu is the best I ever had! the Spa on the other hand, although with spectacular views was a little smelly (hamam and sauna) and the private spa we booked was not ready on time and the jacuzzi was dirty, so we didn’t use it. We were not charged, however considering I booked a service and complained I would have expected ‘apologies madame, please have a coffee/ wine/ parking/ whatever on us’ now this would go the extra mile, especially for the rate per night! Continuing on the parking... is there really a need to charge 17 euros per day for the parking? Honestly where else can guests park in the middle of the mountains! If you need to coats to be covered, hide it in the rate. All this being said, we would still stay again... I just hope the hotel manager reads this and ensures they and their staff understand what it actually means to go the extra mile!

At the same time I am sorry for the inconvenience that you have experienced during your visit to our private Spa. I leave at every guest arriving a personal note with my contacts. Moreover in your case I have also left my apologies, since I could not reach you, with a bottle of Prosecco that I hope you have enjoyed. Regarding the parking, being as we are a mountain resort, during the night time in the winter season like now the weather gets at sub zero temperatures for this reason we give the choice to our guest either to leave the car outside or put put its in our covered garage at a cost incurrence. Rest assured that your constructive comments have been addressed to our team in order to keep improving our high standard of service. Exceptional experience
It was a delightful stay thanks to all the staff! The room was exceptional and the swimming pool with refreshing water jets, saunas and steam room after skiing. The massage at the spa was provided by a very experienced and gifted masseuse. The buffet breakfast was a culinary feast. The lunch and dinners were very high quality.

Fabulous hotel!
Great stay, beautiful location and fabulous spa. The bar is great with lovely wait staff. Major downside is that you need to pay for parking if you park in their secured parking! You pay a lot for this hotel and having to pay extra for parking is a cheek!

We stayed in the suite, but toiletries were very low quality, not something you ever see in a 5star place, especially in a suite. The hotel was very cold and not properly heated. Inside the room, you could control temperature and that worked very well. The staff was excellent in every way, shuttle service amazing (even for a non-ski event). The looks are also nice, feels homey. Probably still the best option in town, but the award, i don't know, that seems a marketing plot ;)

Beautiful, stylish, friendly and luxurious hotel. Excellent facilities and very spacious and luxurious room, which is well maintained and serviced well by housekeeping twice a day. It's the individual touches such as the homemade herbal tea and biscuits on arrival and other nice surprises which make this hotel stand out from other bog-standard impersonal 5* hotels.

Stayed for 3 nights when it wasn't full. Requested a quiet room, so it would have been nicer to be at the back of the hotel. Having said this the room was lovely and views were great. Great friendly service but some staff could be more knowledgable. Would definitely stay again as the hotel was everything we had hoped and expected with the star rating. Lastly summer Months it would be good to have summer duvets to accommodate the warmer weather, considering there is no air conditioning.

The Nira Montana is a perfect base for some very good skiing at La Thuile, which is itself a little gem of a place. Limited hotel accommodationist he village equates with few and short lift queues. The rooms are stylish and comfortable (esp. the suites which are spacious) and the bathrooms are modern and well appointed. Staff are the real asset though - could not be more friendly and helpful. Will go back.

It's a lovely new hotel near the most fantastic waterfalls we have ever hiked to! In fact, hiking opportunities and views were plentiful, and from the top of one mountain (with a chairlift) we were able to see all the way from Mont Blanc to the Matterhorn. This was on a hot clear summer day. Oh yes, and we enjoyed our stay at the Nira Montana too. Breakfast was amazing, as was the service.

Nira Montana
Stayed at Nira montana for weekend ski trip to celebrate husbands 40th. What an amazing hotel, from the boutique style rooms with balconies overlooking the mountains, the attentive service at every level and the stunning spa we would definitely return. The hotel is situated 5 mins (by car) from the main ski lifts and slopes, this is also where the main town is. A shuttle bus from the hotel was available on request to transport you to your destination. Nightlife in la Thuile was quiet, there is a great pizza restaurant 10 mins from hotel and The hotels restaurant Stars is good for a treat although our main course was disappointing. The breakfast spread at Nira montana is fantastic, a good start for a day on the slopes.

Piacevole soggiorno
Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo hotel. Il soggiorno è stato piacevole e la spa molto bella anche se non molto grande. La camera spaziosa, pulita e bellissima con un terrazzino molto piacevole con vista su giardino e montagne. Garage disponibile in loco senza pagamento extra. Molto comoda la possibilità di poter usufruire delle bibite del frigo in camera senza dover pagare i soliti sovraprezzi esagerati. Per quanto riguarda la colazione buona ma non eccezionale.

Davvero deludente
Hotel con design moderno ma staff poco professionale e non in grado di gestire le situazioni come ci si aspetterebbe da un 5*. Abbiamo prenotato stanza deluxe da 30mq.(come descritto su hotel.com) ma ci è stata assegnata una stanza decisamente più piccola (max 24mq) dicendoci che le informazioni sui siti di prenotazione spesso non sono corrette...credo che questo non debba essere un problema del cliente al quale dovrebbe essere garantito ciò che prenota. Temperature delle camere gestite centralmente e non modificabili autonomamente, di notte abbiamo sofferto a 23°C. Utile Shuttle bus per muoversi in La Thuile. Per il nostro cane di piccola taglia richiesto extra 45€/notte (vs media 10/15€ in altri 5* della zona e Non esplicitato in fase di prenotazione) Quando ci siamo recati a colazione con il cucciolo, il cameriere ci ha fatto accomodare mentre poco dopo il capo sala ci ha negato la permanenza. Eccezionalmente ci ha fatto sedere in un angolo del bar, fuori dalla sala colazione. Abbiamo apprezzato il gesto (poiché l’alternativa sarebbe stata una colazione in camera con un supplemento di 5€!!! per il servizio), peccato che sia stato sottolineato troppe volte che “se ci avesse visto il suo manager, non era stato lui a metterci li”. Lo staff reception davvero molto inesperto, poco interessato e disponibile a capire o assecondare le esigenze dei clienti (non ci è mai stato chiesto, neppure in fase di check out come andasse il soggiorno). Davvero deludente!

Gentilissimo Sig. Filippo La ringrazio per la sua segnalazione sulla dimensione delle nostre stanze deluxe. Ho gia contattato Expedia per far modificare questa informazione sul sito. Effettivamente è nostra responsabilità accertarci che quanto inserito da Expidia corrisponda a verità e di questo mi scuso e provvederò subito as far variare l'informazione. Per il resto della sua recensione sono spiacente e felice di non poterle dare ragione. Allo stesso tempo vado molto fiero del lavoro svolto da i miei collaboratori, su i quali gli altri nostri clienti hanno solo elogi. La temperatura della stanza è controllata centralmente ma può essere variata dall'ospite di 3° in + o in -. Informazione data dal Front Desk e dettagliata nella nostra directory. Lei ha effettuato una prenotazione su Expidia dove è precisato che gli animali domestici NON sono accettati. Ha successivamente contattato l'hotel per sapere se poteva portare il suo cane e le è stato risposto che era possibile al costo di 45,00 € al giorno e che il cane non poteva accedere al Ristorante, al Bar e alla Spa. Lei ha accettato sia la condizione economica sia quella restrittiva ed ora si lamenta!! A torto e solamente per farle piacere, il mio collaboratore del ristorante, le ha permesso di consumare la colazione al Bar, cosa che non avrebbe dovuto fare e ciò nonostante Lei si lamenta. Le stanze occupate da animali domestici di piccola taglia vengono santificate dopo il soggiorno e durante la permanenza mettiamo a disposizione dell'animale la cuccia, le ciotole e un ossetto di benvenuto. In fase di check out l'ho udita manifestare il suo disappunto sulle restrizioni legate al cane che le aveva impedito di approfittare pienamente del soggiorno!! Ma era al correte delle condizioni prima dell'arrivo!! Cordiali saluti

Hotel très agréable méritant ses 5 étoiles. Check in parfait. Decor "design" qui manque peut être de chaleur de par son caractère épuré. La chambre est spacieuse et remplit tous les critères en matière de confort. Le SPA est grandiose avec une piscine truffée de jeux/soins aquatiques. Le petit déjeuner est complet avec plats chauds à la demande. Restaurant non testé. La station de La Thuile est accueillante et familale.

Wij verbleven 2 nachten in dit hotel met onze 2 dochters van 7 jaar. Het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en de service top!

Das Hotel ist ganz nett, aber im Verhältnis zu Südtiroler (4S-Sterne) Skihotels fällt es weit ab! Das bezieht sich auf den Wellness-Bereich und die Küche. Dabei hatten wir keine Halbpension, sondern haben wir täglich A la Card im Hotelrestaurnt gegessen. Die Bar mixt Super Cocktails und es gab einen gut ausgebildeten Kellner. Aber wer hier Skifahren will hat mit dem Nira Montana schon eines der besseren Hotels im Ort gewählt

Lovely ski hotel
Lovely hotel with a nice bar and a nice spa. We stayed in a junior suite - perfect for the three of us. Plenty of space, clean and nicely furnished. The only negative we have to say about the hotel is that children under 16 are not allowed after 17.00 in the pool and spa area.
