"We had great stay. It was a bit tricky to find our way in because of the pedestrianisation of the street where it is located. Despite having booked a parking spot, we were not given instructions on how to go about passing the electric bollards until we called the hotel on our second trial. But we were then given clear directions over the phone whilst traveling which was a great help. Despite the fact that like many places in France there is barely not many restaurants open on Sundays and Mondays...

"Nice neighbourhood within 20 minutes walk of La Rochelle centre. Nice sized garden. Indoors adequate although quite an eclectic mix of cutlery and pots. Overall very happy."
"A wonderful stay in La Rochelle! We loved the cute room and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Our only complaint was the bed was a little bit dusty or hairy in someway that was unpleasant.
Also note the bathroom is clean and good but very very tiny. "
"Perfect location, extremely clean room, quite small but more than adequate, brilliant air conditioning. Near sports bar/casino with magnificent restaurant not too expensive. Nice walk through the park into town, also close to a small beach that had people swimming in the sea, didn’t use it myself as only there for one night."
"The staff were so helpful and extremely friendly. They also booked a restaurant reservation for us and couldn’t have been nicer.
We booked a room with sea view and balcony, room was spacious and nicely decorated and the bed was so comfortable (queen size).
A couple of small issues, toilet is quite small and we had a problem with it flushing during our last night if we were staying longer I am sure it would have been fixed promptly as the staff were extremely helpful as I mentioned.
Would highly...
"This is a quaint small hotel with breakfast included. The man checking us in was very polite and friendly. He advised us on parking (city parking nearby and at the port just a couple blocks away) and about restaurants and tourist opportunities. Our room was quiet and efficient with good bedding. Breakfast was complete continental and the same man who checked us in made sure we had a good breakfast including soft boiled eggs, cold cuts and plenty of breads. Parking was a bit anxious at first...

Short stay in La Rochelle
"Good night stay in this hotel close to the action. Older place with nice staff, good breakfast for 10 euros. The mattress was not very comfortable and the wifi accessible only in the common places. Reasonable price, was really ok."

But we were then given clear directions over the phone whilst traveling which was a great help. Despite the fact that like many places in France there is barely not many restaurants open on Sundays and Mondays and so was unfortunately the restaurant of the Hotel. the only negative point was the lift does make quite a bit of noise and that there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom drains. Which was spotlessly clean so must be the city drains issue. We were offered a room upgrade for our wedding anniversary stay and all staff were extremely professional and welcoming. We will definitely consider staying there again."

"We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. It served a purpose and the bottles of water and sweets were a nice touch. "

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful.
I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard.
The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things for me.
The bathroom was a bit tired. But everything worked.
The hotel was very pet friendly. It is as a great base for a short break in La Rochelle for the last couple of hot days in October. "
