Very safe and great location. The staff here are wonderful and will always help you! I was here last year when the war started. They are wonderful and help me with all my needs. The front desk staff are the best! -shane

I made multiple attempts with hotel to adjust reservations. After couple hours I was able to get receptionist Alla on the phone who refused to assist. Disrespectful staff and very poor service.

Perfect hotel in Kyiv
It was a great stay. Really nice and worth the cost that I paid. Breakfast was really nice and not too much or little. My remote for the TV was kind of picky where I had to point it. And there was only 1 tiny trash can. But the staff spoke excellent English and we're very attentive and the room was incredibly comfortable. And the location was perfect in the city center, close to the metro and lots of cultural places.

Laundy is not free. You have to pay extra if there are 2 people in a room. Claning service is questionable as the sheets don't seem to be changed and the carpet stayed dirty. They will forget to give you soap, etc.

I've stayed here before and will likely stay here again because the location and value are great. I had a better room the last time. The doors to the rooms aren't quite hotel grade, so if you're near the front desk, you hear a lot.

Very difficult to locate because one has to go through an alley. The whole building does not belong to the hotel and the other tenant was drilling next to my room on Sunday. When I complained, they said "it is not us". In other words, you are on your own. I used ear plugs to sleep because I was in between flights. I am always rooting for boutique hotels but this one is overpriced... Also, they did not have a safe which is something I generally use. Do not stay there unless you have to.

Small but lovely.
The location is great. The property is new, clean and modern. The room is very small though. It is difficult to walk around in the room and there is no place to put your luggage. Very tight but lovely.

I do because I WANT TO, required will get a 'delete' on survey normally from me! The breakfast menu and services were excellent! My compliments to chef/cook and to those who brought the dish to the room. A special thanks to the 'servers'-all of them! I am a coffee drinker!!! The 3-4 ounce cup(a sip), wasn't adequate, I requested more, and my 20+ ounce insulated coffee cup was filled for me. Different ones brought breakfast, but they passed on my request. Who ever knocked on my door each morning expected me to hand them my cup, and ask for SOME MORE COFFEE!!! Five...5 stars for their service!!!

Quiet, excellent central location
Spacious, clean room (and bathroom too). Short and easy walk to St. Sophia's Cathedral, St. Michael's, Independence Square and all its restaurants, etc. Short walk to St. Andrew's and maybe a kilometre of arts and crafts stands along the street below St. A's on the weekends. Suggest studying a map of its location before going, especially if you're driving. Entrance is off a side street and down an internal courtyard - might be a challenge if it's your first time there.

Bontiak is ok
Bontiak was clean and in convenient location. Although it is on street with very little traffic and restaurants, it’s only 3-4 blocks from lots of activity

This hotel is in an excellent location and provides clean, comfortable rooms and an easy and efficient stay. It is walking distance to many of the major landmarks which meant that we rarely had to get an uber or bus. There is no breakfast room or bar but breakfast is served to your room - you choose from the menu the night before and select a time. The staff are friendly and helpful, happy to store luggage. You are in the heart of the city at Bontiak - I really recommend it.

Great value for money. Just stayed overnight, needed somewhere to sleep for one night. Proper hotel with everything you expect. Maybe not the cleanest or largest room but not too bad.

Nice hotel close to Independence sq.
Nice small hotel very close to the main square - Independence square. Limited brekfast option, since it is only served in room, but it is non the less ok. Drinks feom mini bar can only be paid by cash.

only good thing is location
bed bugs are free in this hotel. if you want to book a taxi, make sure the staff calls a taxi company otherwise they will call a friend and will over charge you. I did not have breakfast because they do not have a restaurant so they bring your breakfast to your room. you have to fill out a card with your choices and the time you want it delivered. they give 20 minutes range so if you oversleep they will be knocking on your door. my room was not completely stacked with toiletries when I checked in. while taking a nap, the cleaning crew just came in and proceeded to stack up not caring that I was sleeping. I don't know where the other reviewers that say this is the best hotel have stayed before but for sure they have low standards
