We recently stayed at The Bene Hotel in Kuta, Bali, and had a great experience. The quiet location, just a block away from the beach, offered the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Decent hotel but wont go back
Overall service is friend, but the room and food needs lots of improvement. The aircon to the room was bad, had to leave it on 24/7 and shut curtains to cool the room. Balcony door does not shut fully and allows mosquitos to come in. Sadly my room was not cleaned for 2 days. Swimming pool needs to be rectified, steps and tiles and not in good conditions. Pls take care if you have children. The most disappoinment is the breakfast, i paid for 4 days brekkie but took the first day only. Others days I ordered Grab food. Overall the hotels need upgrade!.

Had a great time, all staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a disappointing as food took to long to be replenished, coffee pot was always empty and cold. Made us not trust we’d get a good dinner there so we always ate out Wi-Fi was terrible. Our room was serviced very well and anything we requested eg. Someone to fix our safe they were quick. We would consider staying there again

Very nice stay at a great price
The hotel is situated about 200 meters from the beach in a fairly quite part of the world as far as Kuta goes. We rented a scooter that we could park safely in the underground parking of the hotel. With this it was easy to relax in the quite area around the hotel but still visit the busy area's or beach within a few minutes drive. Security at the hotel is good so a person feels safe from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious and overlooks the pool area. Staff was friendly and assisted as expected with basic requests. The rooms were cleaned every day and had great air conditioning that is very important in Bali. Overall the breakfast buffet was great every morning, although a person on occasion had to wait 5 minutes or so for a table to become available. The breakfast at this hotel is really good with lots of choices including, meats, eggs, cereals,s yogurts, fruits, pancakes, vegetarian options, noodles and the works. The only bit of negative feedback is that the lifts on our side of the building was out of service about 3 times in the 7 days we stayed here. We then used the stairs to climb the 3 floor to our room that was not too bad. But persons not able to do this would have had to walk to the other side of the hotel to try and use a lift from that side. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely consider staying there again.

OK stay but not worth price we paid.
This hotel did not meet my expectations. Staff was wonderful but the facility need work Our toilet was broken twice and air conditioner did not work the first day. The second night water leaked from it all over my open luggage causing lots of laundry expense. The pool is in great condition and a good size for lap swimming plus play. Pool deck & chairs nice too. I just expected more for the price. Royal Suite didn’t feel royal.

For the price, there are far better hotels to stay in. Despite the hotel being recently refurbished, it already looks very run down. The location isn’t fantastic, no nice restaurants around.

Great location
The location was great, but you may find it difficult to get a cab into the hotel due to the traffic on Jln Legian and Jln Kuta Pantai. Beds were comfortable, but the breakfast was unremarkable. Overall still pretty good value.

We had a lovely 4 day stay at The Bene! The staff are SO friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely, we chose a pool access room which was great. I felt everything was very clean, dispite the fact some things may need a little update - very happy with it for the price. We had no issues and a great stay.

Friendly Boutique Hotel
It was a pretty boutique hotel at the corner of small roads. Not advisable for females to be walking alone as it is dark. The room is comfortable however they can do better with maintained furnishings. The hotel pool is always crowded if you visit over the weekend. Service staffs are very friendly and the food is tasty.

Another lovely stay in Bali. The Bene is extremely well located to shops, markets, beach, restaurants and the famous Legian St but a little disappointing from the last stay about 5 years ago. Nice rooms but little dirty or aged. Very little hot water in shower and shower rose holes was about 50% blocked. Had to repeatly ask cleaning staff to provide clean towels, soap and shampoo most days until complaining to management. Good bits are lovely breakfast with real crippy bacon. Beautiful pool in middle of conplex. Very young staff that are enthusiastic to please but sometime get wrong.

Nice queit hotel and value fir money. Air con is good and rooms comfortable and clean. Wifi is hopless so make sure you get a local sim card. Close to the beach and lots if places to eat nearby. Nice pool and goid breakfast. No complaints other than the wifi.

Although checkin is at 15:00 we had to wait 1 hour before our room was ready . No apology whatsoever from hotel staff . They requested for paper printout of booking although they had all the details on their system . We were 5 person but were offered only 3 welcome drinks . Water in bathroom was salty . Complementary water bottles also tasted a bit salty . Pool closes at 21:00 and is not well lit too dark to swim after sunset . On the good side the rooms were clean and nice breakfast.

The location near sea was very good. The staff was friendly and services were prompt. The general ambiance of the hotel was quite good however the family suits were not facing swimming pool. There was very significant for smell to the main bed room of the family suit and although the staff changed the suit, similar smell was there in the other suite as well for first 3 days. This seemed to improved after ( As told) the AC was serviced. The hotel did offer 2 x complimentary massages to make up for the inconvenience. It would also be nice to have more vegetarian hot food options in the breakfast.
