The room is pretty big but the furniture needs to be updated, side tables were broken, shower was broken and it had a weird broken tile in the middle, need some cleaning, don’t get a room next to the street, the bars are always making noise and I couldn’t sleep during my stay
Fan wasn’t working in the room, had a small mobile fan to compensate but not enough with the heat and only the door that can be open to circulate the air.
Sheets and towels with stains. Itchiness after sleeping in the bed. Dead cockroaches around the hotel public area.

Really good staff, happy with the service. Will use again
Very disappointing, nothing like the photos , pool was good rooms were disgusting only have the one room you would rate 2.5 star , immediately checked out and went elsewhere . Definitely would not recommend this place , smelt , bedding looked as if it come from granmas bed , looked dirty , Rooms be ok to use as a dog kennel only
Nothing is good about this hotel. Staff are rude. They don’t even understand english. I booked a superior room and it the rest room is bad and room is smelling as it is smoked. So I upgraded room to deluxe which is the highest level of room available in this hotel. In my deluxe room phone is not working, No proper continuous wifi, all the bath towels are very dirty.
This place was a disgrace. It was FILTHY. Bathroom dirty, walls dirty, towels and linen dirty, BEDBUGS. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Only good thing was location. Staff was helpful.
Reception staff not taught to apologise. On check-in we were told standard rooms have fans but no hot water. This is not mentioned in their advert. Dirty toilet and bathroom, extremely noisy fan. Complained the next morning. We felt they didn't care. Breakfasts are cold, orange 'juice' is watered down drink not juice. I had to ask every day for 8 days, for serviettes, butter and jam. Staff are not trained and are really clueless, but not their fault. Balinese family owned and staffed, which is always a problem. Restaurant next door also same owners. Food much better but DO NOT order pizzas.
Great value when booked trough Expedia. Walk Inn beware of Web prices. Charming indonisians MOTEL style with lots of Green plants and Birds si going.
Extérior well képt but not the rooms nor the bath rooms.
Staff are friendly with limited english. Food in the restaurant is tasty and prices are reasonable.
Great location, Good food, friendly staff, lowsy interior up Keep. POOL well kept
One pro out of many cons; close proximity to beach
I have never wrote a review about a hotel as I have never had an experience bad enough to feel
The need to do so. I feel that everyone should read this. This was my first experience in Bali from September the 5th to September the 23rd September, 2016.
First night I checked into a room it had no hot water I complained.
The second room they moved me into had one tiny fan in it. I got locked in for an hour and had to wait with the man while he unhinged the door and sand paper down everything to fix it. While I waited I said I cannot wait for this can I please be moved?
The third and final room I had to settle with has a rooster farm out the back so I was woken up at 6am everyday.
When I tried to make a local call the manager shouted angrily at me through the phone to "HANG UP NOW HANG UP THE PERSON IS TRYING TO CALL YOU"
The same manager told me oh no you don't get to eat at the breakfast buffet for free and on the 19th after being here for two weeks I found out today that I could eat at the breakfast buffet for free.....
I spent 18 days at the simpang inn and it was the most horrible hotel experience. All the staff were trying to be as helpful as possible as they could see My frustration it was as if they are used to management being so unhelpful.
As I wrote this review I witnessed 2 other occupants having troubles aswell. I am going to urge them to also write a review as they are going through the same experience and I quote Them "they payed top dollar"
This hotel does n
little oasis set back from all the noise of Legion
I had a ground floor room with air con clean garden well serviced plenty of hot water which is needed when you have sun oil to remove,,,.three story's with the third being a beautiful jungle type garden with fish ponds nice cool breeze and place to eat.

Quiet good pool
Good stay for the money lost my keys didn't have spares charged me for replacements! Not good - didn't lose keys on purpose.
The toilet didnt really flush so we had to get creative when it came time for number 2, but overall the room was comfortable, we were at the very corner of the hotel so we had to be outside for the wifi to work but it was nice and quiet :) would stay here again for 11$/night
My original review was detailed but denied by Expedia bots
Place is cheap. I won't stay or recommend here ever again. Management unprofessional and insulting. Rooms filthy. Cheap but not clean.

Value
good value for money, very central but set off the main drag of kuta and no traffic or party noise from the road...huge room and king size bed for the price of some dorm rooms around.
Overall this was a good stay on a backpackers budget. It is more of a 'locals' hotel so do not expect any information on getting out of Kuta from here! There is a Perama tourist office right down the road though and the employees were helpful in getting us bus tickets to Yogyakarta. The hotel is huge and located on the main tourist drag in Kuta, however it was pretty quiet considering. The room was very spacious and The pool wasn't too crowded. Our stay included breakfast which was well worth it for the money. WiFi was only available in public areas.
When I booked this hotel I honestly didn't expect too much. On arrival I was to meet my friend who arrived in Bali a few hours prior, I was a little late and she had venture towards some food. The staff did all they could to contact her, although I was rather happy to just wait for her. They room was very tidy, the bathroom was a simple SE Asian bathroom. When hanging out on the balcony or around the pool/hotel grounds the staff socially engaged and gave us some tips on things to do/see. The breakfast was great and the staff in the restaurant are a great bunch of larrikins. It is also very surprising that considering location you get no street noise and it is an oasis in the middle of Legian.

Really cheap, in the middel of everything, Nice pool, but boring room.
When I first arrive the staff was very helpful in allowing me to check in early great, but not so great because when I open the room door I said to myself you got to be kidding this room was somewhat of a nightmare I thought to myself it must be some kind of practical joke no tv, the fan barely working no curtains , of cost I when back to front desk to find out what was going on they said you book the standard room you need to upgrade your room but there's no cable and you had to go outside your room in order to use the wifi of cost I left book room at different hotel
For the money you pay its totally worth to stay in. Very polite staff. We got the driver for a few days Nyoman he was great! Showed us around all the places. Highly recommended. Possibly we will be back there next year as well.
I absolutely loved the style of the hotel. Loads of character. The room was basic but comfortable. The bathroom needs updating and good cleaning. Typical Indonesian breakfast ie. rice, chicken, noodles.
Perfect stay!
Right in the "midst of it", but quiet and really tranquill with accomodation surroundeing secluded tropical courtyard.
Rooms were freshly renovated and spacious with very good, firm matrace.
A spot I'll return to.
We had only one night at the Simpang before flying out the next day, we wanted somewhere close to the airport and we got a good deal on price. We were pleasantly surprised that despite being in the middle of Kuta, it was quiet and comfortable with great staff. It's set back from the street so it's easy to forget that you're in Kuta. The pool was lovely, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It wasn't as close to the airport as we thought though. I imagine it would be a lovely place to stay for a whole holiday if you wanted a nice quiet place to retreat to between nights out or beach days.
