Great location to everything - beach, shops, dining, tours/excursions, etc. The room was a comfortable size with the amenities we needed. The pool on the second floor was unique as it overlooked the street below and a small area of a bay across the street. The staff were very accommodating and responsive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return there again.

The staff were very friendly and the Italian restaurant downstairs was very good. The breakfast could be better and some more loungers around the 3rd floor pool would be better as well. Not a huge fan of the brown color pool tile, can make the water look unclean even if it is.

We really enjoyed the convenient location close to many restaurants. The staff was very helpful, friendly, kind and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed renting scooters from the property. We also really enjoyed our tour to Hong Island and renting a kayak to see the beautiful view at Railay beach along with the lagoon. It was fun! Merci.

The hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so bringing our luggage to our room at the top level was a struggle. Could use a hot egg station at breakfast. The hotel has an old Moroccan-style design that could be enhanced with some modern updates. The rooms with the upstairs lofts and terra cotta balconies outfitted a bathtub and sink are a nice place to relax and watch the sun go down.

The rooms was not as nice as the pictures showed. Although we did have a balcony, there was no furniture to sit on out there and it was basically on top of and view of a metal roof. Their breakfast buffet was quite expensive

Nice quiet stay in a not so quiet town. About a 5 min walk from Ao Nang beach which was perfect because the town is pretty loud. 2 nice pools and an on site restaurant that serves Italian fare.

best for price anywhere. Great stay.
Been traveling for months as part of 6 month+ trip. Spent 3 weeks in Krabi at Alisea. Loved the hotel. For price you can not beat it. The free shuttle to private beach resort is just as shown. Pool was amazing. Few posts complained of mold in shower. It’s just base tile showing through where it’s been cleaned so many times. Btw huge rain shower was amazing. Staff was insanely nice. rooms are really nice. Only downside was slow WiFi, but that seems to be a Krabi issue, not hotel.

It was a nice stay. The property is a bit dated with some mold in the shower. We checked out and left the property without getting our passports returned to us, which was very frustrating given the front desk staff were sitting around on their phones while we ripped apart our bags looking for them. Overall it was a pretty good hotel with nice big rooms and large bathroom with a rainfall shower.

The location, and style of the hotel were great. The pool had a great view and it was nice to relax. Some appliances need upgrading but everything was functional and clean. The price was also great for the location and comfort. I would definitely come back. The safe box is out in the lobby instead of the bedroom but it was completely safe.

Good hotel that has seen better days.
When we arrived the staff assigned us to a room where the patio view was a construction site - literally 4-5 feet outside the room. We asked for and received a room away from the construction. The staff knew immediately why we were asking - clearly they thought we wouldn't say anything. After that, all was fine. The hotel's best feature is a lovely infinity pool with view of mountains and part of city. Otherwise, it is somewhat dated (which is normal for AoNang beach area). Everything was clean, shower was good, air conditioning worked, and there was a fridge in the room where we stored cold drinks. The towels and linens were a bit frayed, but that didn't bother us. There is no elevator, which people with mobility problems should take into account. The breakfast is not very good, nor is the coffee, but you have lots of food choices nearby.

Nice but aging
We had a nice stay here and for the price it's hard to beat. You can tell it used to be a nice hotel but they haven't reinvested to keep it feeling clean and new. Overall we had a nice stay and would stay here again.

Just stayed at this lovely hotel with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time here. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Facilities are a little old, but still in good condition. Hotel is also close to Ao Nang beach and can lend you towels if you need. I would come back to this hotel again!

The pool and rooms are very nice and it's very convenient but with a giant building being constructed next door it was especially noisy at 8 am the first day (Sat. Morn) when we woke up. The rest of the days didn't seem as noisy, but we were gone most of the days. We complained and the manager was understanding (they are supposed to work construction from 10-4) and he worked with us on a few comped items. They definitely need to do something to screen off the top deck with the wooden outdoor tubs in the deluxe rooms. I am a woman and took a hot bath at 6:30 am. I happened to have my phone nearby the tub, thinking they must do something once the building under construction is completed and took a photo of the building across from the room. Soon after I heard a man whistle at me and realized I had a peeping Thai watching me during my bath, very unnerving. I even caught him in my photo with his yellow construction hat on up about 2 floors. So beware, they are aware the tubs are there and it's WAY to close for comfort, who would think someone would be walking around at 6:30 am! I'm writing the Hotel and sending the photo, but thought I'd send this review as well. The Umbertos (Italian) restaurant is a very good restaurant in the Hotel, we ate there 3 times as we wanted a change from Thai food, the inclusive breakfast was very good as well, good expresso coffee and fresh eggs, fruit, etc. The bar pool was handy and they had a good Happy Hour. Just unfortunate with construction.

Decent hotel, close to local restaurants
A very warm welcome from staff and easy check-in. The room and bathroom were fairly basic but clean and comfortable and perfectly decent for our 1-night stay. Nice pool area outside although opening hours seemed to be limited. Breakfast was so-so - not a great range - but the hotel is walking distance from the main town and beach with lots of restaurant options.

First time to Thailand
There was a 8 story being built next door, the room had a note saying construction would go on from 10-3! The construction started at 7am - 11 pm. We asked to move rooms and had to wait until one came available the next day. After 26 hours of travel, we got very little sleep due to the noise next door. We were not offered any compensation.

Beautiful hotel worth the price
We really enjoyed our stay at Alisea. It was at a great location that was central to Ao Nang and made getting around easy. The hotel staff were helpful and the buffet breakfast was great. The only flaw was the neighboring construction site and the noise, otherwise I would definetly stay again. Showers were also good and the room was kept clean.

Nice hotel, really pretty, however the pictures are deceiving. The painting is off, mould in the room, and wifi was so slow I couldn’t even receive emails. On the plus side the swimming pool was nice, bed nice, staff friendly and room was clean other than walls. Bathroom was really clean as well. Don’t know if i would stay here again as there were nicer hotels around with bigger swimming pools and cheaper prices

We book hotel due that it was more secluded, therefore expected more "rest time" on our last leg of our vacation. Got the superior room with breakfast, hotel was clean, a couple of English TV channels, internet unstable (both ok, as we came to disconnect), breakfast was decent and some offerings were refresh daily. Big problem is a constructing happening besides the hotel and although I agree that this is out of the Hotel hands, it gets VERY loud from 8:00 AM until midnight!!! (despite hotel letter mentioning 10 am to 4 pm) Initially they gave us a room besides the construction and move us to the other side of the hotel the next day after talking to management. Room was upgraded to LOFT,that and the AC help reduce some of the noise. One day before checkout we arranged an extra night directly at the reception, they mentioned that we will have to move to another LOFT as the one we had was already reserved. We agreed and paid. I even confirmed with three different staff members since only one LOFT remained for that day. On the moving day, as we were leaving for a tour and had our luggage ready for them to move us, receptionist mentioned that new LOFT was no longer available since she gave it to a walk in :| She offer us a superior room (downgrade) for the SAME PRICE we paid for LOFT AND again FACING construction site. We were outrage, talking to management only got the price adjusted. We end up accepting the room as it was late and did not have time to look for a new hotel.

Great hotel for a good value
We enjoyed our experience in Alisea hotel very much! The hotel really has the vibe of a high class boutique hotel. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the So nang Beach Bay. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Rooms are very specious and clean.. and the shower is huge! Will definitely stay again.
