The property was a great value for the accommodation. Location was really good. Just outside of the party zone, but get close enough to enjoy it during the day. The bungalows were spacious and comfortable. The bed was comfortable in the air conditioning was efficient. It had a comfortable front porch to enjoy the view of the hillside. Overall I recommend it.

Koh Phi Phi is interesting. No vehicles, all walking paths. So many shops. Love this property. Friendly staff and very helpful

Wifi didn't work and hotel staff didn't speak English but it was a good value for a last minute trip to Phi Phi. There are stairs involved so be ready for that. It was nice to stay further away from the craziness hut still a short walk into "town"

Great value! Room is big and clean, only cons is the bed that is a bit hard but overall is very good They should invest on the photos because the room is way better in person than when seeing the photos

New rooms not too close to the party area. You’ll still hear a little bit the music but it’s not to intense. Very confortable bed and the staff is very nice. The only down side and its very small is that there is an odor of sewage in the bathroom. And the pool did not seem to be working

Pros away from the loud music at night and excellent room and we seen a monkey at our hotel however cons I booked months ago and it seems they weren’t expecting me, I based choosing this bungalow off one of the factors of wanting to have the option to swim in the pool it was a massive factor bit we got there and the pool was unswimmable there was a frog and scorpion in it and i dipped my foot in and this awful smell happened because I disturbed the water. If they cleaned the pool then this bungalow would have had no cons

Great location behind main streets, far enough away to be quiet all evening, close enough that you can walk to and from shops/food/beaches without getting sweaty. Had to request different room because first room had a loud knocking in AC. Expedia beat walk-in rates so nice deal booking online.

Amazing! We stayed at one of the Bungalows around the pool...it was absolutely perfect. There is an absolutely massive shower! The pool is clean and well maintained. No complaints!

Fine for short stay or backpackers
Typical hostel good for short trips (we only stayed one night) or backpackers. Shared bathroom is inconvenient but you get what you pay for. Staff speak relatively good English and have a taxi service which is good. However they do not have an elevator and it is inconvenient for those with large amounts of heavy luggage

stayed here 3 nights. founds dozens of bed bugs bite after the second night. complained and got moved 9 rooms away only to wake up with even more bites. rooms 110 and 101. I have spent hours cleaning clothes and luggage since, with 10 days left in my trip the only solution seems to bed to throw everything away luggage included..what a waste

A Quiet Spot on a Party Island
The location is about a 15 minute walk from the pier, on paved pathways. There are no motorised vehicles on this part of Phi Phi, so everything is moved by hand pulled wagons. We were pleased to see a staff member from JJ Bungalow and Guesthouse at the pier, taking our bag, and led us to check-in and then carried our bag up the steps to our room. There were many steps, so this service is essential. He also provided the same service when we left. We wanted a quiet location away from the noise of alcohol-fuelled partygoers, and this was just the spot. They have a mini mart as part of the JJ complex, with good prices, and many restaurants nearby. The beach is about ten minutes’ walk. Our room was very spacious, with a huge bed, dressing table, wardrobe, chairs and table, tv and kettle. The bathroom was also very spacious with an open shower that was easy to regulate. The pool was large and clean, with a spa area and lots of lounges. It was in full sun until lunchtime, when the trees provided shade until the sun moved past and it was in full shade and a beautiful temperature for swimming. This hotel is not new and sparkling, but we paid a modest price for a large room in a quiet location. We were happy with our decision, on an island that has so much variety of accommodation. The provision of a porter to manage luggage is an essential service for this situation.

Quiet location with pool
Good value hotel in a quiet area a little bit outside of the centre. Short walk to bars/restaurants and to the beaches. Service was good and we were helped both ways with our bags. Nice pool area. Large room and huge, comfortable bed.

great place on Phi Phi
If you book the luxury rooms you will be very happy. Wood paneling etc. Cheaper rooms not so nice. Pool is great though no mattresses on sunbeds. High enough up steps to not need to worry about Tsunami waves but not too many to tackle. Short walk along dimly lit path to beach and nightlife not great for solo female travelers.

Comfortable but far away
The room was clean and service was pleasant. Pool area was very nice. I found the location a bit far and then climbing up the stairs exhausting on a hot day. Anybody with mobility issues should avoid this hotel. The lighting in the room was quite dark, especially the bathroom. If you want a place a little away from the action and don't mind a walk go for it.

Semi reasonable for Phi Phi. Bit of a hike to either beach. No facilities apart from pool. Room basic but clean and functional. Whole resort and island looking very tired and unkempt. Shame for such a beautiful place

Lovely people, kind and friendly! Good position of the Bungalows, fresh air and not too hot. Air con very helpful and recommended. Just 5 min walk from the beach, 2 min from the shops and the street food! The bungalows are not 5 star hotel, but are a good compromise for a nice holiday in Phi Phi!

Perfect place just out of the hustle and bustle
A 5 minute walk out of all the shops all night life so was perfect for us, stayed 4 nights and went out 2 nights, so quiet here and nice little pool area

Comfortable bungalow with big balcony
We were very pleasantly surprised at this hotel/bungalow. Our balcony was huge and comfortable to sit out while not exploring the island. The room and king sized bed were also comfortable, bright and clean. It is a quick and easy walk to town and the beach, and nice and quiet for sleeping. The only thing I would recommend to the hotel is to provide washcloths and hand towels in addition to the bath towels, and please hire workers to clean up the trash and construction debris scattered under the walkways. Other than that I would recommend this hotel.

It was fine
Booked this hotel as a compromise on price and quality. This wasn't the cheapest hotel I could find on Phi Phi, but it was the cheapest one that seemed to be clean, and have A/C and wifi. The wifi didn't work so well, and the hotel was a bit of a walk to town, but we were only there for a couple of days so it was fine for our needs. If I was staying in Phi Phi again, I'd probably pick something a little closer to the action.

Schöne Zimmer mit schönem Ausblick
Wenn man von der nicht vorhandenen Rezeption absieht, check in ist in einem kleinen Supermarkt:)) ist alles o.k. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr schön und groß mit einem schönen Ausblick auf die Berge. Nur man muss gut zu Fuß sein die Treppe zu den Bungalows ist wirklich steil und für ältere Leute nicht geeignet.

JJ Bungalow ligger i rimelig gåafstand til de små boder i Phi Phi centrum, stranden, og havnen. Når du ankommer fra færgen, så står der en fyr med et skilt fra JJ Bungalow - som hjælper dig op til hotellet - det fungerede rigtigt godt!! Værelset var fint og aircondition virkede fremragende. Sengen er dejlig stor, og til hvert værelse hører en lille terrasse med, hvor man kan nyde et glas whatever :-) Poolen og pool-området er placeret i skygge, så vandet er koldt og der er en del myg. Vi brugte poolen som afkøling efter en lang dag i solen/varmen. Liggestolene i poolområdet er lavet af træ (og meget hårde), så det er ikke en “pool-dag” man har på det hotel. Vi vil anbefale en 4-timers long tail båd fra Tonsai havn eller Dalum strand + en gåtur op til viewpoint (tag solopgangen ellers er det for varmt).

Phi phi / JJ bungalows
Hotelli rauhallinen siisti ja toimiva paitsi uima-allas. Sopivan matkan päässä rannoista ja bilealueesta. Saarella kannatta muutama päivä viettää, maisemat upeita, pinnan alla ei paljon nähtävää. Rannat täynnä veneitä ja vuorovesi haittaa myös rannalta uintia.

Helt okej rum även om priset var lite väl mycket. Men så kanske det är på Phiphi. Ibland kunde det lukta lite från badrummet men annars var det bra. Rent, lugnt och personalen kom och städade rent. Wifi var inte så bra men kunde fungera i ibland över en längre period. Finns en liten supermarket ansluten till hotellet där man kunde köpa lite av varje. Ligger en bit ifrån festområdet vilket gjorde att man kunde sova i lugn och ro. Saknade tyvärr Pool vilket var synd. Det fanns en Pool men i det skicket den var är det omöjligt och tänka att nån använde den, nästan tömt på vatten med en massa löv(?) och annat i. Har man tunga väskor så kan det också bli jobbigt och bära ner dom för trapporna när man ska checka ut. Incheckning hjälper dom till med att bära upp väskorna. Allt som allt är det ett OK hotell men inget mer.

Ok pour une nuit mais hôtel spartiate.
Hôtel très vieillissant. Dans l’ensemble la chambre est propre mais il y a une odeur très fortement malodorante dans la chambre et encore plus dans le SDB, l’équipement est très sommaire et le coffre ne fonctionne pas. Le personnel a été sympathique. Par contre l’établissement en lui même semble à l’abandon. Des déchets de partout entre les chambres et sous les pilotis. Mais c’est vivable pour une nuit ou les personnes pas très regardantes.
