Great place to stay
We stayed for 9 nights over Christmas and new year and had a lovely time. It was our first time to Thailand and won’t be our last. We had our 2 boys aged 15 and 12 with us and had a family room near the pool It was lovely and quiet apart from some banging doors in the middle of the night from the room above on 2 nights. The room was very spacious With a huge double bed and bunk beds. The shower room was good too. The staff were mostly really friendly and helpful and the Thai meals were delicious. Can’t comment on the western meals as we didn’t have them. The mango juice is delicious too. And the cocktails were good too! The pool was very refreshing - pick your sun lounger carefully to maximise the shade! You can also sit overlooking the sea - great for sunsets. There’s aThai massage place by the pool too which was lovely. And 3 raised areas with hammocks as well. Not much evening entertainment other than the fire show twice a week which our kids loved (and took part in!). Good central location on the island and you can hire scooters from there really cheaply. We ate at some local restaurants - we particularly liked Jimmy’s and The Garden We also did excursions out to the 4 islands, the rainforest walk and beach, and kayaking in the mangroves, all arranged through the hotel. We’d definitely recommend this place - very relaxing.

A wonderful getaway!
The Blue Andaman was my first stay in Ko Lanta. I have since explored several other hotels and beaches but will be headed back to the Blue Andaman. I stayed in the pool\beach bungalow #2 which is a few feet from the pool and from my porch (and even the bed) the ocean view is stunning. The restaurant is located right next to the ocean and the sunsets are gorgeous. For convenience there is a 7-11 a couple blocks away. Also, Danny's restaurant is close by for a wide range of inexpensive, yet delicious Thai cuisine. The staff at the Blue Andaman are quiet and efficient and arranged for snorkeling trips and tranfers. The maid service was outstanding with as little or as much service desired. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This resort is very nice. The property is extremely well taken care of. Our room was exactly what we expected for the price. Newly renovated bathroom. The pool and surrounding area was inviting. Hammock’s hanging for your enjoyment. The bar was awesome. Atmosphere was excellent. Drinks were really good and the sunset was extraordinary. The people who ran the bar were very nice and went out of there way for there guests. This is by no means a 5 star resort, but still you feel like it could be. I would absolutely recommend this place. 🇨🇦

Overall this facility exceeded our expectations for the price. Our bungalow was very clean and seemed to be recently renovated. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful especially when booking shuttles and renting scooters. Food was reasonably priced and the Thai food was delicious. The only issues we had were with water pressure for our sink and shower. At one point our bathroom water did not turn on for 10 minutes. The room cleaner also accidently left our door open after a cleaning. We think the curtain may have gotten caught in the door when it was being closed and left the door ajar.

Okay, Needs Renovating
We stayed in a fan cooled room- so it was really uncomfortably hot when the sun was on the room mid-afternoon, we couldn't stay in our room at all (there was a broken AC attached to the wall) There was duck tape all over the ceiling, chunks missing from the wall, toilet was wonky, there was a constant leak in our bathroom (we still don't know where this was coming from, but it made it smell awful!) Bed on the other hand was really comfortable! Nice pillows and sheets. Pool and restaurant area is what saves this hotel. The pool area, waterfall and seating were really nice, we'd happily spend all day here! Restaurant is really efficient and serves great food- you don't need to leave the complex for another restaurant! Otherwise, it's all a bit run down and could really do with some renovation!

Quality staff and reasonable price
The staff was great! Dtaw (guitar) at the reception was such a wonderful help. She organized a couple of trips and we could not have been happier. The location was a bit isolated, but then again it was a resort. We stayed in a garden bungalow. We rented three of them as we were a family and the closer to the pool the nicer the rooms. Overall, it was a nice stay for 4 nights.

Loved it here
I booked a room but upgraded to a bungalow, it was beautiful. Not a lot of people and not a ton of families :) , more adults and singles ..On a beautiful beach, has a restaurant and bar with happy hour . There’s a pool and cheap massage. 7-11 is right up the street ... I will definitely be back when I return !

Booking problems
Upon arrival, we were told there were no accommodations for us, somehow, our booking was lost, so they put us up in a cabin overlooking the pool and beach for the first night, until the problem could be sorted out. The cabin they put us in was the same as my booking, so we requested to stay there, but were told no, they moved us to an upper level, away from the beach and pool area for the remainder of the stay. It was adequate and covered all the booking requirements we had specified, however it was out of the way. The stay, other then room problems was good. Thoroughly enjoyed the food at the restaurant.

The pool area is nice with great views of the wate
Our room was smelly and had a dirty towel in the room upon arrival. The bed sagged to the centre and there were little ants everywhere. Very few of the staff speak English but then we were in Thailand. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly otherwise. Not much to see or do without a taxi which are expensive by Thai standards. Would recommend staying closer to Saladin pier area.

The staff were very kind. The pool was clean. The food was great! The bungalows were so cool it felt like a little inclusive resort. The beach is literally on its doorstep. We were very happy here. The girl at reception was very accommodating!!

Basic rooms, great location
We stayed here for nearly two weeks as it was cheap and near the beach. Perfect for chilling out, basic rooms but great pool and walking distance to some terrific, cheap restaurants and beach bars. The beach isn't great for swimming but you can get a tuk tuk to others if need be. Perfect for some downtime whilst travelling.

Not so clean and heaps if bawling kids
We upgrated on arrival, in order to have a fridge. The beds where not very comfortable and the bathroom was smelly, no water pressure, old and in need of repair.

check your room is the one advertised b4 check in
The room I was given was not the room advertised. There were many vacant rooms that were advertised in a much better condition and location. It said garden view but it overlooked a car park There was no bedding to sleep (the room advertised said Italian bedding) under except a wool blanket. Reception did supply a sheet. The remote for the air conditioning was missing and the remote for the television was broken. If I had booked for more than one night I would have complained. The room was large enough. But the room is desperately in need of refurbishment. I just had bad luck with my room. The rooms by the pool were ok

Good value, great location.
Trouble with the AC, and the fan was covered in mold/rust. Needs a screen on the bathroom window, as bugs got in a lot. Hard pillows and bed. Great service, nice pool, and good food at the restaurant made up for it. Situated right on a beautiful beach.

Great stay close to the beach.
I stayed in the basic ac room and a friend of mine stayed in the bungalow a few steps away. Both rooms nice and comfortable with ac, clean spacious loos with hot showers. Rooms are set back from the beach with no views of the ocean but less than a minute walk away. Restaurant and pool overlook the beach and is a great place to hang out. Food is excellent and service is great. No complaints at all. Lovely place and just minutes walk from more beach restaurants and bars.

Hotel has a really nice pool area , restaurant prices very reasonable for Koh Lanta , spectacular sunsets available every evening in the bar /beach area. Only thing that let the hotel down was attitude of reception staff and shabbiness of room (unable to lock window which led onto shared balcony,broken furniture,small tv).

The hotel has a fun bar with Happy Hour where cocktails are 100 baht. The rooms are clean, nothing fancy about them, the pool area is nice and workers are friendly. The hotel is next to the ocean, but you can't get in the water!! Too many rocks. I booked thinking I would be able to take a dip in the ocean from the pool, NOT the case. Overall, getting to Kho Lanta is tricky. Make sure you plan ahead of time! The ferries only run at certain times. Plan to take some time getting to your destination.

It was alright, we have gotten better places elsewhere for a cheaper price. The pool was nice, but our air conditioning was very noisy (squeaky), they didn't clean our room once over 3 days and there were tons of ants in the bathroom...

Nice small resort right on the beach, clean and comfy rooms, large bathroom. Good onsite bar with a relaxing vibe. Good wifi. Absolutely nothing near the hotel apart from a small shop and little restaurant, but great for just a few days of doing nothing but relaxing.

Chilled atmosphere but needs modernising
After spending 2 weeks here there and everywhere we were pleased to have booked 3 nights which turned into 4 and stay put and relax, the resort is surrounded by two restaurants and bars which both have a great menu and the bars are excellent-the friendship bar next door has been an amazing place to watch the sunset whilst listening to chilled music and enjoying some special shakes. During the day the pool with waterfall feature was a great place to hang out. The little bungalows were ok- the main thing for me they were clean- the bathroom needs a lot of modernising. But apart from that it would be a place i would visit again.

Resort facilities are very nice. Good pool, awesome beach. Good massages on site and the resturant is nice as well. Staff were helpful in booking motor bike rental and bus back to Krabi. The room however is a different story - over the course of 2 days we found multiple centipedes (10cm long), a HUGE spider, a toad and countless geckos in the room. (Try sleeping after finding a spider the size of your fist in the room at 2am). The bathroom was dirty and smelled horrible. We stayed in a standard room not a bungalo, which may have made a difference in the bug situation. If you dont mind a few bugs is good budget accommodation at an awesome beach. Beach is only good for swimming at high tide.

Great place to stay at in Koh Lanta!
The Blue Andaman is great. Everything was perfect. Our room was nice and clean and the staff is wonderfull and very friendly. The restaurant is located directly at the beach, you can watch the sun go down (romantic!) and have a meal or a few drinks. The Sound-Shack Bar beside the restaurant is nice and offers the "party people" a possibility to do so ;) Along the beach (beautifull!!!!!) are lots of nice looking bars. I definitely would book that hotel again!

Kanonläge! Nära stranden men dock stenigt vid lågvatten men man kan snirkla sig ut så man kommer i havet ändå, supervarmt vatten när stenarna värmt upp. Kan tycka att det inte är barnvänligt eftersom man inte kan bada i havet hela dagarna. Superbra mat i restaurangen men inte säkert de har kött den dag du vill äta det! Perfekt städning, bra aircondition o toapappret inga problem heller, bara be om mer.

Rummet var litet och ofräscht. Inte bra städat. Hotellområdet var däremot ganska mysigt och hade ett trevligt poolområde. Stranden var väldigt liten och mycket stenar på stranden/i havet, så bor man här är det poolen som gäller. Helt okej frukost och restaurang. Rekommenderas inte för er som vill ha en härlig semester med er partner. Finns andra ställen och stränder som är mycket bättre.

Perusmesta, ihan ok. Lähistöllä muutama ravintola. Hotellin ravintolassa ok ruuat maltilliseen hintaan. Meressä uiminen oli laskuveden aikaan liki mahdotonta, nousuveden aikaan hyvä, myös uima-allas oli hyvä. Omasta mielesta standard huone oli turhan vaatimaton, kandee ottaa pykälää parempi huone. Siivous joka toinen päivä, paitsi pyydettäessä joka päivä. Aamupala oli melko huono..kaikki mauttomat kananmunahässäkät oli kylminä muovisissa leipä(?)koreissa. Toki sai tuoreita vastapaistettuja(mauttomia) munakkaita, kun osasi pyytää ja mainita, ettei halua syödä kylmiä aikaisemmin paistettuja munia. Kokonaisuudessaan palvelu ei ollut normi thaikkulaisen tasoista. Menisinkö uudelleen, ehkäpä en..vaikka ei hotellissa mitään suoranaista vikaa ollut.

Koselig anlegg, frokost noe enkel - fin bar på stedet.Litt mye stein i vannet som ved lavvann gjorde det vanskelig å bade i sjøen. Bra basseng. Badet på familierom var type -veldig enkelt. Litt lite restauranter rett ved, så man må ut og farte litt.

Positifs: belle piscine avec vue sur la mer ainsi que le restaurant. Très jolie plage, eau cristalline avec de beaux poissons. Le parc de l hôtel est bien entretenu avec de très belles plantations. Négatifs: personnel peu souriant voir muet au restaurant. Les chambres sont peu équipées: pas de frigo, une seule serviette par personne, pas de serviette pour sortir de la douche, des oreillers moisis on a dû réclamer 2 fois pour avoir des oreillers corrects. Le petit déjeuner est très moyen, peu de choix.
