The hotel was very nice and had a great location in the middle of town with great views. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If driving to the hotel you need to get the address for the parking area which is in the back of the hotel as the front is on a pedestrian only street.

This lovely family-owned hotel is a wonderful place to spend Christmas and every effort was made by the staff to make it feel special. The only issue we had was the lack of organisation with regard to restaurant bookings at the hotel that we had previously made. Twice, including the Gala Dinner on Dec 24, we were told that we had only booked half-board. Eventually our reservations were found but it wasn’t very professional. The location is perfect and the views over the valley from the lovely spa/pool were lovely. We would not hesitate in staying again.

Stayed here 2 nights on recommendation of neighbor who stays here every winter for skiing (I mentioned at check in). Check in was fine, however the room was not what I had expected, especially after reading glowing reviews. It was located directly above the restaurant. There did not seem to be any AC, and opening the window was necessary due to the temperature. There was noise from the restaurant/terrace pretty late in the evening, which I was not happy about, noting that Kitzbuehel is a sleepy town with little nightlife; all of the nightlife was under my window. Also the room faced other buildings so there was no privacy and had to keep curtains closed at all times. On this trip (2 weeks in Germany, Austria & Italy) even at the budget hotels I stayed in at least one courtesy bottle of water and a candy or chocolate was left, but not at this hotel. Is not a make-it-or-break it item, but if 2/3 star budget hotels near train stations can leave water and a chocolate, why can't this one? I must apologize to the hotel for leaving angry....I thought my room was paid for before I left (I had been planning this trip for over a year and thought I had prepaid all of it) and they requested payment. I could not verify while I was there and felt at the time that I was being double charged, which I was not. One upside: the pool was great as was the location. But other than that I see no reason to stay here.

Right in the center of town and the action.
The Tiefenbrunner was a very pleasant surprise. Quite often when you are in Europe and don't book with one of the big chains, you can get very nice hotel. They are cute and quaint, but the room is a bit on the small side. The Tiefenbrunner blew my mind with the size of the room. It was the size of a nice studio apartment. It was double(and triple for some) many of the hotel rooms I have stayed in. I have a middle of the range room. I did see some of the upper level rooms. You could hold a small dinner party in them. The staff was great. After a couple of days I didn't even have to tell them my room number when asking for the key to the room. The food was very good. The staff was very helpful in anything we asked for. We had to check out early, before breakfast started. They packed us a lunch for the road. Would very highly recommend staying here.

Wellness and gastronomy in KITZBUHEL
Delightful hotel, very centrally located in KITZBUHEL. Welcoming from the start with great facilities. Delicious buffet breakfasts, SPA facilities were great. Free ski locked room and free parking and WiFi. Separate hotel fine dining restaurant was fabulous. Perhaps a bit more expensive than some of the other properties costing a shade over 1400 euros for x 6 nights BB but worth it given all the above virtues

Staying medieval
Neat old medieval hotel in the heart of a medieval town. Great view of the mountain. Hotel was hard to find (by car) but easy afoot. Spa lacks a hot tub but has all other amenities. Staff incredible. Great breakfast. Room temp not controllable (except to open the window). Otherwise, for access to the town and mountain - perfect.

Centrally situated base in the middle of Kitzbuhel
Great location. Good food. Nice attitude. Our "suite" was on the street side of the hotel and was rather noisy. Ask for a room on the back which will not only be quieter but will have a balcony.

A lovely hotel in an ideal location.
We loved this hotel and it's ideal location. We have two criticisms, the first is the mattresses are to put it mildly firm. Our second criticism is that the last day of our stay was the first day of the annual three day Harley Davidson fest and a sound stage was built fifty yards from our bedroom window !! Avoid these three days unless you like heavy metal music and motor bikes.

Lovely hotel, centrally located. No air-con meant that the window was always open (as it was so hot), which in turn meant that it was a little noisy at night.

Wonderful!
Just back from a weeks stay at the Hotel tiefenbrunner had an amazing time. Ideally located in the centre of town within a short walk from both cable cars. Breakfast was delicious a buffet style-you would be full until dinner! Dinner was equally as nice and only 25€ each for 5 courses!i wouldn't hesitate in reccommending this hotel. Staff are friendly and very helpful

Brilliant hotel in a great location
Location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the centre of Kitzbuhel. Rooms were of a high standard, clean and comfortable. Food was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. They also spoke very good English! Overall I'd certainly reccomend the Tiefenbrunner to anybody for a summer stay. I'd like to come back in the winter to experience the skiing in the area.

Great for a family
Booked this Hotel on the net, right in the middle of town of Kitzbuehel, limited parking but safe. Due to the temperatures and no air con had to sleep with window open, very noisy, but just for one night acceptable. Very nice hotel.

Locatie en restaurant is goed. Kamers en faciliteiten zijn verouderd. Wij hadden een superieur kamer met bad en geen mogelijkheid om douche kop op te hangen. Wij moesten €300.- betalen voor deze kamer en daar verwacht ik toch meer van.

Thank you very much for this review. We are sorry to hear about those inconveniences. Our rooms are individually furbished and in the rooms there is either a bath tub or a shower. Upon request in advance and depending on availability, it might have been possible to get a room with a shower.

Gut gelegenes Hotel im Zentrum von Kitzbühel
Das Hotel hat uns gut gefallen. Der Aufenthalt war angenehm. Einzig als wir an der Reception fragten, ob wir von Zimmer/Frühstück auf Halbpension wechseln und das Nachtessen im Hotel einnehmen könnten, haben sich die Receptionistinnen mit einem "Nein" begnügt und gesagt, dass eine Halbpension am Tag zuvor gewünscht werden müsse. Sie haben weder in der Küche nachgefragt, ob zwei zusätzliche Nachtessen serviert werden könnten noch haben sie uns Essens-Empfehlungen ausserhalb des Hotels gegeben. Das war nicht besonders "stark", aber sonst wie erwähnt alles i.O.

Unvergesslicher Aufenthalt im Hotel Tiefenbrunner
Es war einfach ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt alles hat gepasst, das Personal war freundlich und sehr aufmerksam, Das Restaurant war sehr gut und hatte eine super Atmosphäre. Mein Sohn hat das Schwimmbad sehr genossen und ich fand den Spabereich sehr sehr angenehm.Lediglich der Weg zum Hahnenkamm Tal Station war zu Fuß etwas weit, dafür war die Lage des Hotels in der Altstadt exzeptionell.

У отеля отличное местоположение, одно из лучших в деревне, на мой взгляд. Путешествовали с младенцем 9 месяцев, внимательное отношение персонала, принесли стульчик в номер для кормления, есть один существенный минус - уборка номеров !!! Номер не убирался!!! Девочки застилали кровать и протирали влажной тряпкой пол в ванной комнате. И все. Я боялась отпускать ребёнка ползать в номере, так как они его или не пылесосили, или делали это очень плохо. Использованный шампунь и шапочки для головы не менялись и новые не приносились. А мы жили в отеле 12 дней. Приходилось постоянно просить их отдельно. За 250€ в сутки, я считаю, это недопустимо.
