We had a non-smoking room and neither of us smoke. When the room door was opened, there was an overwhelming smell of a lemony soapy deodorizer smell, presumably to hide the odors left by a prior guest. We couldn't get rid of it, turning the AC on or opening the window or doors. It stank and was so unpleasant we considered sleeping in the car. We left as soon as we awakened in the AM. And the smoke detector was hanging off the wall. This could not be a 8.2 hotel.

The room smelled clean however the sink and tub were filthy and there were toothpaste flecks on the bathroom mirror and smudges on the other mirror and microwave and tv screen.
There were some crumbs in the chair and we knew that the room had not be cleaned at all. We got our money back and left.

The room was in disarray. TV did not wok. Phone did not work, huge gash in the shower. Large space under main door that faces outside. Pretty bad overall. But the people who worked there were very helpful. Got tired of calling/getting them.

Fine hotel for sleeping. The beds were comfortable. Parking is somewhat limited. It is close to the interstate.

Not a terrible place but just some minor updates and the place can be really nice and comfortable for that price. Staff came into the room at 8am, faucet from tub was leaking, cobwebs in the bathroom and walls, stains on the towels, sheets and walls Great location for what we needed for the weekend.

2nd time staying there on the way to Knoxville for a Vols game. Perfect location and people are great, location is great and plenty of good inexpensive food in walking distance. Simple room with every thing you need and no frills. Clean and well worth the price.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Check in went smoothly. Coffee was flavorful and hot.
Exterminating Company either needs to be changed or come more often. Unwanted bugs in the room.
Tissues would be a nice touch.

I got two rooms king for one night and a double for two. The air conditioner didn't work the best in the King room the double had bed bugs, plus I asked front desk for a cot for my son and she was rude. So I just walked out. I don't believe I would stay again

When we came into the room it had an odd smell. But before that the front doors were locked, the receptionist was not friendly meaning not that normal Customer Service experience you would expect to receive. Bed sheets had stains on them.
The bed is hard as a brick or better off to have slept on the concrete.
Highly do not recommend this hotel
People out back cooking at around 11 am.

Comfortable and clean room
The hotel was clean and they were doing painting maintenance on the outside rails. So there were working on the appearance. Only negative - there were several concrete planters filled with sand for cigarette butts outside of the rooms. They were filled with cigarettes. I would stay there again.

The main attraction for this property is its convenience to Kingsport and I-81. There is also a good selection of restaurants very close by. The room was pretty well maintained and the rates are quite reasonable. I would recommend it.
