This is a very good hotel and a great place to launch trips to the temples.
I rated the location as medium as its 2 kms to temples. But this actually makes for a peaceful respite from the other tourists and the touts and other sellers.
Very friendly staff and beautiful rooms.
After departing and arriving at airport, I realised I left my jacket and slacks in wardrobe at hotel. Made a call to front desk and they promptly arranged delivery to me at airport about 5 kms away in very quick time!
The pool and food are very good as well.
Highly recommended for this price
This was one of the most personalized check-in experiences I've had--one of the hotel's managers personally greeted us, and we were given moist towels and a glass of juice directly on being welcomed into the lobby (both of which were quite welcome on a hot, humid day). The staff all went out of their way to provide excellent service, whether it was the front desk, the bar, or the restaurant. Unlike some large hotels in India, there was just the one restaurant, but the food quality was good. We did not use the swimming pool, but it looked clean and inviting. The room was very good, the shower a bit older but clean and in reasonable working condition. Overall, a very good experience.
This was a lovely, well maintained hotel...very nice pool and great complimentary buffet breakfast... a 20 min walk to the temples or an easy rickshaw ride... this area is delightfully peaceful, especially after large cities like Delhi and Varanasi.
The best thing was that the staff was very friendly and cooperative. The property feels old, but with some modern amenities.
The not so good thing was that the buffet breakfast was kind of boring. And they didn't change it over the three days that we were there.
The worst thing was that the selection of TV Channels was deplorable.
The stay was otherwise pretty good.

Usha Bundela, a sprawling complex on 4 acres of land, is set in the heart of the Temple town of Khajuraho - A UNESCO World …More
We arrived with a night train in Khajuraho and were already at 7am in the Hotel Eurostar Inn, where the reception was warm and friendly. In contrast to all other places where we stayed, our room was already prepared and we could move straight in. Our room was quiet large, light and everything was new and spotlessly clean (also unlike other hotels and to our greatest delight the double bed had no gap in the middle in to which one of us would disappear at night). The room had a balcony, air conditioning and a bed table lamp with a switch accessible from the bed (!!! not a given at all in India). The Hotel also offered an exquisite Northern Indian breakfast (baji puri). Although the view of our specific room was not so nice, there was a lovely little green front garden with papaya trees and several Tulsi bushes. All temples and restaurants of Khajuraho can be reached by a small hike. The Eurostar Inn was like an oasis in the tohuwabohu of this little village.
The best thing about the Eurostar Inn are the personnel that is not only very competent and helpful, but reliable and very engaged! We particularly liked the young manager who is smart and very quick. At night, in the new and modern foyer, we had insightful discussions with the owner of Eurostar about India and its culture
All in all, this was our most pleasant stay out of seven Hotels in India.
The hotel´s location is amazing, just 100mts from the Kajuraho temples. The neighbourhood is very nice, with litlle stores, mini markets, good and inexpensive restaurants.
But the very best was the staff attitude towards the gests. We received a delicious welcome tea (several times!) for free, and fruits when we checked out, to the road. I just felt like home in the beatiful gardens inside the place. The room is clean, with a lot of space, marble floor, and we always have hot water 24/24 to take relaxing baths. All our needs received the correct attention. Phone calls, internet, etc.
Again, the staff makes a difference. The manager/owner was always there, taking care of everything. I will remember forever the nice stay in this family place and, of course, recomend for everybody.
I make good friends there, besides the good memories.
