"The staff were informative and friendly. They even have a meeting room available for watching the NAVY boot camp ceremonies, if there are not enough tickets for family members. The rooms were clean and when we ran out of things or needed more the staff always supplied our needs. We were even able to extend the stay for one more day with our Sailor. So grateful for their location being close to the base and shopping areas. The breakfast was served hot every morning and many choices were available."

"A few more options for breakfast would be wonderful, but otherwise a wonderful stay. Next time I visit Kenosha I will be placing my reservation there."
The Retreat on Lake Michigan Spectacular 6 bd/4bth 4000 sqft
10/10 Excellent
"One of the best experiences at a rental home, from my perspective, is feeling like a dear friend or family member has decided to share their treasured home with you. They trust you with their best. This felt like that. It was a privilege for our small group of older women to spend several days at the retreat. The obvious draw was the generous frontage on Lake Michigan. Our perfect weather allowed us to spend much of our time sitting on comfortable chairs under a covered patio area. Just what we wanted!Beyond that, prepare for first class amenities. The kitchen has every small appliance you could ask for, the knives are sharp, the refrigerator is huge, there are pots and pans beyond what anyone would need. I, personally, would add more serving bowls and storage for food and was glad I brought some serving boards and bowls. The beds were comfortable, good bedding, lots of towels, plenty of hangers in the closets. Outdoor and indoor seating was great for groups up to 12 adults. The entertainment options were plenteous - pool table, huge television (plus tvs throughout the bedrooms and bathrooms) and the garage held a ping pong table, darts and a treadmill. Fireplaces, indoor and out, lovely for cooler months. Fire pit with nice seating for story telling and s’mores. The area has lots to offer; we spent a day in Milwaukee (45 minutes away) and enjoyed a historical boat tour and fine restaurant and shopping. We enjoyed the Kenosha museum campus and dined at the famous Hobnob."
