Great value overall. However not a quiet property. Lots of notice early in the morning. Definitely bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Breakfast and free hot/cold water is a plus!

The manager Thapa was kind and helpful even If we choose one treking before we go to the hotel. The location is perfect to visit Thamel.

Hotel staff were friendly when arriving. The hotel has a restaurant and the food was very good. The rooms are basic, however they are comfortable. Great access to the market. I requested airport pick, which they did. I would recommend this hotel its' location and if your on a budget.

It's in the thamel market. All shops are walkable. Hotel staff is extremely friendly. They booked our mountain flight for the next day morning even when requested late night.

Central Location. Overall Good Basic Hotel
I stayed two nights here. The hotel is very basic. Right in the centre of Thamel. Location is great with many food options for tourists and cafes close by. The hot water and wifi works great. The room could be cleaned better. Noticed hair in the room corners. The breakfast was not very appealing - the only major disappointment. Good be better. Food at this hotel falls short of what other similar hotels provided in the ones I stayed in Kathmandu. Overall a very good, simple and basic hotel in Thamel.

Get a receipt!
This hotel is in a very busy location. The room looked nothing like the pictures, but was ok. The biggest issue that we had with this hotel was regarding payment for transportation to and from the airport. We paid for both prior to leaving for a trek in Pokhara. I asked for a receipt and they assured me that I did not need one. Unfortunately, later when they accused us of not paying them via email I reminded them and assured them that we did. Then, they said not to worry about it and when we arrived to the hotel they continued to harrass us about the payment. At this point, I was tired of dealing with it and just paid them the $10 again. My recommendation would be to get a receipt from them if you pay for ANYTHING. This left a bad taste in my mouth because it was simply dishonest. I would recommend looking for some place not on Paknajol but closer in Thamel. There were several better options.

I would like to apologise with you for the mis understanding and problem that you faced about the transport payment. Actually the mis understanding was created because you had paid the driver and was not informed. The driver thought it was tips by you and also the reception guys were not informed by you while check in, thus he thought that you were paying for first pick up and then drop off to airport while you were going to Pokhara. But in your mind you had paid it for your second time pick up while you were returning from Pokhara. I would like to make you clear that there was some mis understanding but not intentionally. I would like to request you all to get the receipt while pay for anything else. The management has also strictly informed to the team to provide the receipt while taking money from our valuable guests. The entire team is seriously concerned of the issue and like to commit you that the same problem will not be raised in the future. The hotel staff was very nice. For whatever reason, they were unable to see my booking through hotels.com and on three separate occasions asked me about my booking. Eventually, this was resolved. Our first room had only one window, which made it very dark and dingy. We asked to change rooms, to one with two beds (as requested in my booking) and they were happy to accommodate us. The room was a little dirty - the comforters (as an American it is a little weird to sleep with ONLY a comforter and no bed sheet - so we asked for a bed sheet) had stains and smelled like they had not recently been washed. The bathroom had mold throughout the tiles near the shower, but was otherwise ok. The hotel is located conveniently. However, it is located on one of the busiest streets (Paknajol), so it made it loud at night with horns, loud neighbors, barking dogs, etc. The breakfast was average and if you had a day where you had to order something the service took 45 minutes to an hour to prepare the food. It was nice that they held our bags for us when we went for a trek and after we checked out. This is a nice service for guests. Personally, I would recommend staying in a place more in Thamel rather than on Paknajol.

I would like to apologise with your some issues that you have raised on the comment. As you had modified your bookings often and made a new booking for another night our front desk staffs had asked you for the real booking. I would like to apologise with you for this case, because they had bad experience in the past with some guests that had modified the original bookings, cancelled at last and stayed without paying, thus they were more attention on this case so that they would not have to pay from their pocket. It would be great if you had provided them the booking voucher they would not have to ask you for the confirmation again. There could be a different staff while you were checked out than the one in your check in time, thus he might ask for you just for the confirmation. I would like to apologise with you in this case for not delivering the report properly while transferring their duty to next one. I would like to apologise with you for the room issue and inconvenient you had. After you asked us for another room we had upgraded room for you without any extra costs which generally would cost extra. In your point of the room and cleanings I would like to assure you that we never reuse the bed sheets without washing while someone leaves the room. In your case I think that the comforter in your bed could be not dried properly so you would feel it, however i would like to assure you that we do provide bed sheets and change everyday. It is quite strange to see you point about the bed sheet. The noise is the common problem of Kathmandu, not only some specific area around Thamel, so most of the hotels are having the same problem. About the food service, since we prepare fresh foods while some one request it may take some time to deliver. If someone is in urgent we request them to choose one nearby fast food restaurant. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Last but not least I would also like to preview your booking value. We provide our best for what we take money. So I would like request to think of what you can expect with money you paid. Once more thanks a lot for your stay and time for the feedback. Regards Badri

Two nights in Kathmandu
Hotel is just on the edge of the tourist area of Thamel, the staff are very welcoming, and the hotel and rooms well presented. My room was a bit smaller than expected from the description on Hotels.com, but was fine, I didn't spend too long in it. The hotel neighbours, it's in a residential/ local shopping street, can be a bit noisy, so don't expect a lie in! The hotel was happy to arrange a ride to-from the airport, and local taxis. The only negative was have to rattle the front door gates to get back in when coming back from the nightlife. A good choice for the mid budget range, would stay again.

It sounds like in overall you had a good stay however you have mentioned that the room size was smaller As you had a single room booked and you preferred the room with a big bed, we had provided you that room. But if you would let us know then we would happily upgrade your room. I would like to apologise with you for the inconvenience. Thanks for your comment regarding the noise from the neighbour, it is the common problem in Themel. We will try our best to reduce the noise in the coming days. I have also noted that the front gate was locked while you were ate on returning, concerning the security we close the main gate after 11 pm, but for the convenience of our clients we have fixed a doorbell, so our staffs open the gate once the clients ring the bell. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you again for mentioning that the staffs were welcoming, and flexible to arrange the required transfers, We are excited hearing that you would stay again at our place, it would be our great pleasure seeing you then and we will do our best to deliver a perfect service then Namaste and best Regards

Nice hotel and great service with lovely staff.
Mr. Badri and his staff made my stay very comfortable and helped me on arranging all my tours. I will definitely recommend this hotel and I'm going back to stay there next week.

Good hotel in Thamel
In the center of the city . Walking distance to Garden of dreams and Durbar Marg . The hotel itself is clean. Small rooms but comfortable . Breakfast ok . Staff helpful . Wifi was not available in the 1st night but became available the second day . Good place if u want to stay in the heart of thamel which is old and crowded .

Très bien dans l'ensemble
Accueil très sympathique, avec verre de jus. La chambre très propre et spacieuse. La literie est bonne, ainsi que de nombreux petits meubles pour ranger ses affaires. Très bonne fenêtre donc chambre très bien insonorisée. Personnel au petit soin. Possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner sur place (buffet), très copieux et varié. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel!

員工老闆皆熱情的一間旅館
員工熱心,老闆熱情,服務有溫度。 每天提供兩瓶水, 早餐還好,餐廳清潔度要加強,沒有room service 服務。 房間乾淨, 淋浴的水壓強. 房間的WiFi在住宿的最後一天因為外面修路被損毀,但是老闆主動告知且維修積極,提供替代方案,住宿時感受服務的十分誠意。
