"I had visited Kalkan on four previous occasions and enjoyed the lovely bar at the Elixir Hotel, although I had never stayed here. On a solo visit this time, I preferred a hotel over a villa, and booked a deluxe room at the Elixir. There are lots of choices in gorgeous Kalkan, but I made a very good decision. "Water temperature was poor every morning. Bar menu needs upgrading. Nextdoor's The One menu needs to be looked at to compare what is being offered locally! Too many clients were going out to eat, where Rhapsody could offer good food if they were more imaginative. Lovely staff, wonderful location but just needs more drive & imagination."

"The hotel is tiny and the rooms are same. Hardly any space to turn around and put suitcases. No elevator either. A mosque is literally next door, so be prepared for a very loud call to prayer in the morning. The main thing it has going for it is the top floor terrace with nice views. It’s a good place to hang out, given that the rooms are tight."

"This is a review mid December. We were the only guests. Nice hotel in season but out of season the swimming pool is full of green water which is understandable. All the other hotels have swim platforms that have been removed for the season and no beach. This hotel has no swim platform but the beach would have been perfect for a swim except it is only 10 meters wide so i expect it would be crowded but out of season people walking in the street above use it as a toilet. There are free access Lician tombs in the cliffs past the police station, very small direction board. Woken many times at night by barking dogs. Good breakfast. Easy level walk to the old harbour and its restaurants. Bedroom as small as possible with a double bed. Lift and stairs. Parking for 2 cars outside hotel, ive read on reviews the hotel runs a valet parking system in season "

"Great location, has an elevator, and a rooftop terrace for buffet breakfast with an amazing selection. In the evening, it becomes a sushi place with cocktails. Easy walk into town and a great parking lot if you have a car. The staff was so friendly and kind. The room is big, with 2 balconies, one of which had a partial sea view. A kettle and tea/coffee/bottled water are included. We were only here for 2 nights, but would definitely come back!"
