The air conditioner is so loud that I cannot sleep. What is the point of a hotel room if I can't sleep in it? I called Hilton and they won't help me because I booked through Expedia. I called Expedia and they won't help me. This room is way too expensive for a room I can sleep in? This is repulsive.

First and foremost the staff was amazing! Every time we walked through the door they said hello with a smile. Check in was seamless. The convenience store was always stocked. Parking was a breeze. The room was very clean and all around comfortable. It is near the interstate so you can get anywhere in the city quickly. But again…THE STAFF!! Customer service of this level has been lost in this world but they are definitely exceptional!!

Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious & clean. The hotel had everything you could possibly need. I do wish there was a complimentary breakfast but there is an option to purchase breakfast.

We liked the quiet hallways, pretty lobby with a fireplace and easy access. The pool/hot tub didn’t look too inviting. Loved the large TV and the room temp was easy to control . The hot water took awhile to get in the sink. The tub water was fine though. The staff was so friendly and we felt welcomed. a free continental breakfast would be a plus. We would stay here again.

There is not a business center at this hotel. It was very hard to be able to print anything needed for work, with offices, locally were closed due to weather. We had to modify our training location, and without a business center we were stuck, trying to train in the lobby. Because we were told we were not allowed to access their conference rooms. But there was vacuuming, going on and mopping going on while we were trying to hold corporate calls and meetings in the lobby. We asked about a conference room and they told us they were booked, but we walked past them. They were empty. Just very disappointed as this is a great location for us to return to. Unfortunately, we will not be utilizing this location for future business trips. The lobby was very cold, and with the door continually open and closing it just continued to get colder and colder..

I had booked one day at this location. After spending the day with my daughter, I decided to stay another day. Since I had booked through Expedia, I talked with the desks personnel and found out that the way to do this would be to book another day through Expedia. They worked very well with me. Told me how I should come down anytime the next day and check out and then check back in on the new reservation. They were very helpful.

Beware!!! Upon check in this hotel seems nice. The Libby is big and has a nice snack/drink bar. The front desk attendant was polite. However, there were stains on the carpet in our room. I wish that were the worst part. We woke up to find red bumps all over our 5 month old baby. They were later confirmed to be BED BUG bites!!!! The hotel and Expedia both were very nice and refunded our payment. It cost us much more than just the payment to make sure we didn’t bring them home with us.

Not as luxurious as it looks online
The location was great and the staff friendly BUT the hotel was disappointing. The first room we were given reaked of wet dog. The front desk woman came in and sprayed a whole can of lysol all over the carpet and sprayed a bit of febreeze in the air. We left to shop and grab dinner and when we returned the room smelled of wet dog and flowers. It was awful. She then put us in a different room and it appeared that the building had suffered water damage by the looks of the walls (and musty smell again). The couch was stained & bathroom needed maintenance. The pool was decent & the hot tub wasnt hot. I recommend selecting another hotel.

Had trouble getting on the internet both days we were there. This has happened previously at Hilton Hotel properties. Also, the door to the room would not close and lock so we had to switch rooms after unpacking in the first room. I doubt that we would stay here again.

We typically stay at a different Overland Park hotel with suite options, but I decided to branch out this time. First of all, every single staff person we encountered was so friendly. The rooms were nice, the pool was great for what our family looks for (plus it had a hot tub, which was an added bonus). We were exhausted after a long day in Kansas City when we checked in and decided to eat dinner at the hotel. They had decent options and both adults and kids were able to find something we would eat. We didn’t do breakfast at the hotel but it looked like an okay spread. Breakfast would be my only complaint, and a very minor complaint. The cost is not included in your stay, which was fine. But it was missing some staples, like eggs. The cost for their full hot breakfast was about the same to go down the street to a breakfast spot where we could order off the menu. That being said, I would definitely stay again.

Everyone was very friendly and there were plenty of food options around the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The big shampoo containers in the shower were great because you could use as much as you want! The only thing that I would change is the breakfast wasn’t free! Aside from that our stay was great. Will be back for sure!

Not all holiday inn are created equal. I’ve never stayed at a “Garden Inn” but mostly at “Express Inn”. Although advertised breakfast is not included as it at “Express Inn”. I heard staff explaining how their breakfast cost breakdown works and it seems a bit awkward and confusing. I went down the street to McDonald’s for breakfast. Although lobby was newly renovated our room need updating (so assuming all rooms need it). The wallpaper was pealing off wall. The tiles looked worn and dated. Pillows were all the same … flat. Overall okay but will not choose “Garden Inn” next time.
