"Staff was helpful and hotel was fine. And it was clean. It's a bit of a run down bldg. And it is expensive because it is in Juneau but it is right downtown. We had a room on the back and it was quiet. We were there for a short night before an early morning flight. The staff reserved a taxi for us for 5:30 am. The taxi did not arrive and the morning staff for since that they'd had problems with this taxi company. We had no problem getting a Lyft. The nighttime staff person thought maybe a taxi reservation would be better since it was such an early morning ride. But that didn't pan out. There was also quite a bit of a security line at the airport. We waited half an hour to get through the TSA PreCheck line. But that's not the hotel's problem; they were fine."

"Very charming hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious, quiet and had everything we needed. Breakfast options were good each morning with a choice to eat in the dining area or have delivered to your room. Convenient location for activities, downtown and the airport. Great stay!"

Frontier Suites Hotel in Juneau

"This review is mostly for the benefit of the management of Frontier Suites. This is my preferred go-to accommodation in Juneau. The Queen Suite is a great deal and very comfortable with a separate bedroom, sitting room, and kitchen. Housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Wife and I stayed for two nights recently. One wash cloth. No pad or pen to make notes to housekeeping to request another cloth. Conveyed the request through the front desk, and to the housekeeping manager who wanted to know if we wanted service during our stay. They picked up the towels, left the old washcloth on the tub, and left us a bag of towels with no washcloths. Did not bother to unpack the towels and put them in the bathroom ... just left a bag of towels on the desk. Not great service. No tissues in the room anywhere. No coffee in the lobby, and just one coffee pack with the room. I asked the desk to have housekeeping give us more. Nothing left for us. To their credit, the front desk does have everything you might need. (The tiny bottle of shampoo left for two people would not last two nights). You just have to go down and get it. Get your housekeeping service focused on customer service, and you will get more stars from me."

"The check-in process was confusing as apparently my assigned room was given to another guest. It took a staff of four to figure out what happened but they more than made it up by upgrading to a room with water views."
