We were here for an overnight after long flights on our way to Botswana. It proved to be a very easy pick up from the airport, a very comfortable room, friendly competent staff, and good food. We are going to stay again and we reccomend it.

Lovely place, including pool and area around. Staff was very sweet and helpful. Initially the communication was poor, so it was difficult getting a shuttle. Otherwise, good place to be.

Staff was very accommodating and even waited till late so i can check in as my flight was delayed by 4 hours. The breakfast was very good considering the price and its well priced.

Stayed for one night on a Saturday night. It was very noisy until around 2 o'clock in the morning – not sure if the noise was coming from others outside at the hotel or an adjoining property. Hotel would have benefited from a few more small amenities, such as more towels and a bathmat for the bathroom, and air conditioning, The staff was very currently and helpful.

The lodge is conveniently situated near the hotel in Kempton Park, within a secure and safe compound. What truly stands out are the exceptional staff members: the wonderful Zintle at reception, Sister Joyce in the kitchen, and Justice, the driver. You'll also appreciate the delicious food and the serene, beautiful environment that is just a stone's throw away from the airport. Worth the visit qnd highly recommended.

A very convenient place close to the airport. We planned on staying 2 nights but ended up staying 4. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was great. We have already booked to stay again.

Really good and real value for money stay
We stayed on 3 seperate nights on our travel. Very convenient to the airport, first night we used the great shuttle service from and back to airport, easy trip about 10mins max. Other 2 stays we drove ourselves, felt safe doing that. A small mall and restaurants close by. Gated with security area, premise is gated, all felt safe. Room was clean, newly refurbished, water hot, bed and linen great, all very comfy. Cooked breakfast to order lovely. Grounds and premises kept well. Staff are doing a great job. Thank you all, see you next time we fly. Great value for money, wil recommend.

The people are awesome. Sinclair at the front desk and Justice, the airport transfer driver were both awesome. Both of them went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will stay there again and recommend the place to anyone.

Well done!!
What an amazing place. Changed my wife's mind completely about guest houses. We will no longer stay over in hotels near the airport. The place is clean, neat, stylish and a gem. Friendly, helpful staff. You will see us on a regular basis.

This 'accommodation' was truly unique in presenting as an UTTER DISGRACE to the South African Tourism Industry. Traumatic experience indeed! NOTHING was as described as per pictures or website description, NOTHING worked properly, EXTREMELY disorganised/chaotic/disorientating. Warning - Disability unfriendly! Management/owner displayed unethical, disrespectful, immoral, money-grabbing and unprofessional conduct with preferential treatment toward certain customers and a TOTAL disregard for harm inflicted apon a fellow human being. No consideration in replying to emails, offering goodwill gestures, not even a humble apology. However, KARMA comes after everyone eventually! You can't get away with screwing people over your whole life, I don't care who you are. What goes around comes around. That's how it works. Sooner or later the Universe will serve you the revenge that you deserve. SO MOTE IT BE.

A great location and facility!
The facilites were very nice. The room was clean and well put together. I believe it was Justice who was basically running the place. He was the airport shuttle driver, the chef and the facilities manager. According to their website there was a restaurant on site but thst was not the case when I arrived. Other than rhat, it was a pleasant overnight between flights.

Big room and in good condition but whith smoke odor. The wifi was OK. Basic restaurant from 6:00pm to 9:30pm. The transfer from the airport delay 25 minutes since I called. It was a small car. We was 5 and was space for 4 people. In spite of this things is a good place to stay for one night.

Dear Pablo Thank you for your feedback. Al our rooms are non smoking for which it won't have smoke odor. Our airport transfer procedure is for you to phone us once you arrived of which the driver will pick you up within 15 minutes, it can happen sometimes that the traffic is very bad around the airport and it may result in a small delay. Good Day We would like to know what it was that you didn't like you about our location? We are in 1 of the safest areas around the airport and have access to shops and restaurants nearby.

It was older than the impression one gets from the photo on the net. The staff was very friendly and considerate. The Name of the Lodge conflicts with another such facility and causes confusion as to where to go to catch the shuttle. When I called the lady said got o gate ?? and I could not catch wich gate. I asked people where to go and they said gate 6 as all they heard me say was Aero Guest Lodge instead of Aerotropolis. I wound up going to the wrong place, but they were very kind and understanding. There is a need to make sure their name is clear and what gate you need to go to at the Joburg airport. Also, I was told the breakfast was at 7:00 Am but the preparation just started then and the meal came about 7;30. I had scheduled an 8:00 AM transport for the airport but, the car was still in the garage and it wasn't clear where I should go to get in. Overall it was a very laidback attitude, that is quite friendly but not too appropriate to one who is traveling and needs promptness. I do recommend the staff and people there as very kind and accommodating but, not if you are anxious and concerned about promptness.

Good Day Anonymous Thank you for giving us feedback regarding your stay. When booking with us you will always get an email with a clear explanation regarding the shuttle procedure and where exactly you need to meet our driver. There is no gate such as an "O"gate, for international arrivals the meeting point is outside the arrival hall at the pillar which reads "Lower 3". Our driver also have a board with our name on it when collecting our guests. With regards to our breakfast, our breakfast are freshly prepared every morning to each guests liking which usually takes 10-15 minutes depending on how busy it is. Thank you for bringing the uncertainty regarding the shuttle meeting point at the lodge, we will look to add clear signage of the meeting point. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us and we are sure you''ll have a better experience with your next stay. Best Regards

Waited about 1 hour for the "free shuttle" as the vehicle was small (max. 3 or 4 passengers and 6 waiting. Flights are low (noisy) even at night over the property, dogs barking etc.
