This hotel is at the far end of the main drag in Jasper, so is great if you’re looking for a quieter area of town. There is a restaurant inside which serves amazing food for dinner, as well as an open atrium venue for breakfast. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, with a small balcony. We had a pet friendly room, and you would never have known there were dogs in it previously, it was so clean. We enjoyed our cross-country stay here…in fact, it was the nicest, reasonably priced hotel we stayed at. I would highly recommend it!

We stayed in the newer section, which was connected to the office by a second floor walkway. The room was very clean, comfy beds, and we appreciated the kitchenette. Our only problem was parking on the second night, which was on a weekend. We drove around the place a few times and finally parked up on the street. Would stay there again.

Stayed in the older part of the hotel as we had our dog with us and it was great. Convenient, nice room, friendly staff. Only things that could have made it better were if they had bowls for the pet friendly rooms, and the shower took a long time to get hot and then fluctuated between ice cold and scalding hot for most of the shower. Otherwise a great stay!

I think overall the location, price, and staff are great at this location. I just personally thought that the property lacked any theme or anything special to remember it by. The restaurant and breakfast have pretty limited hours so have a back-up plan. Also for a reference, I would refer to this property as similar to a Holiday Inn Express.

We booked this room anticipating using the pool and hot tub. When we arrived we were told it was under maintenance. I would have expected a discounted price but they only offered use of the facilities at a hotel down the street. Mirrored closet door was hanging from one corner. We were concerned it may fall off so never touched it. Bed was comfy and it was pretty quiet for a hotel. Never had a meal there. Pride flags all over the place and on every table in the restaurant. It's okay but definitely feels like it needs a refresh. The property has a "musty" smell (not sure how else to describe it) and the rooms are dated - the bathroom in particular. One thing we didn't realise is the view from the room window would be of the hotel interior overlooking the diner which felt a bit claustrophobic and a bit of a shame as we would have loved to have seen the beautiful scenery of Jasper. The hot tub was closed on the first day and the pool side was so drenched in water and slippery, I almost fell over a few times (I think it just needs someone to mop the area a bit more regularly) On the plus side, we did sleep well and it was fine for our needs as we were only there for two nights. If we were staying in Jasper for longer, we'd probably go elsewhere.

I liked our room but didn’t like the state that it was in. The shower glass would allow water to leak onto the floor. The sink drained excessively slow like it was plugged, and the tap was so loose that water was dripping into the cabinet below. The lighting was really tough to work with as well as the fact that there is no fan in the bathroom. The lobby really smelled of pool it was hard to handle. The spa was good but very interesting way of getting there

Our stay in Jasper was amazing! Jasper was beautiful and eveything was conveniently located in walking distance. The stay at Forest Hotel was great, comfortable beds, beautiful well kept facilities. My only complaint would be the mini fridge. It was more of a mini freezer, so my kombucha froze and exploded. But other than that, I would definitely stay there again.
