Elegant Stay
This place is magical. So happy I got a room with a balcony as there is music all the time in the gorgeous courtyard. The concierge service is top notch. A very elegant place. Just loved it.

Very disappointing
The photos below of the condition of the bathroom says it all. The guest relations lady had a terrible attitude. Personally I will never again stay at this hotel. It’s not worth the price.

Great little hotel with an excellent restaurant in the courtyard. Room was clean and had all the basic amenities: wifi, safe, shower stuff, etc. Staff was very helpful, there's always someone at the front who can help you whether you need directions, recommendations, or anything for your room (such as an outlet converter). They also arranged our PCR test (it was a requirement for our flight back), with a medical professional coming to the hotel to do the test one day before our flight. The hotel is in the middle of Sultanahmet, walking distance from the light rail station as well as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Little Hagia Sophia. The last one is literally down the street. This is important because traffic in Istanbul can be quite bad so don't count on cabs that much. Streets around the hotel are old and cute, definitely feels like you're in a city with ancient history. The hotel has a decent buffet breakfast. With the pandemic everyone had to wear masks around food.

What can I say? This hotel is absolutely fabulous and we had a wonderful stay here. It felt like a calm oasis in the middle of a bustling city, and we loved the traditional Ottoman style design. Our room was perfect, with a nice balcony to relax in the evenings. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, and the COVID safety was excellently managed. Breakfast was great, we enjoyed fresh omelettes as well as all the delicious buffet options. The location is perfect too, it’s an easy walk to the grand bazaar, Hagia Sofia and many more Istanbul sights. Highly recommend the Rose Garden Suites and will definitely stay here again!

I liked the old style of the buildings, which is near the most sttractions in the old city. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especislly the msnager Mr. Seljuk and Maria. The room was spacious and clean. The decoration was superb. What I liked most is the garden especislly when it rains. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Thank you all.

Nice suite room in an acceptable location even if it is a tag too far from the tram station. Not suited for anyone with heavy luggages as there is no lift and there are lots of stairs to climb. Breakfast average. Drapes could not keep out the bright street lights. Sound proofing very poor and we were not able to sleep well due to the noise from passing vehicles.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The surrounds were private and had different areas to sit and reflect. Restaurant clean and had a good variety for breakfast. However if you needed an early start the breakfast time was 8am. The rooms were as you viewed on their website, lovely. I would stay here again.

A delightful oasis
Management and staff were friendly and helpful. Got a useful introduction to the city at check in. Area is quiet and safe and only minutes from the major attractions. The free breakfast was fine and the food in the restaurant superb. The hotel and the area conveys a relaxed and calming feeling. If I'm back in Istanbul I will definitely stay there again. It's a great place to return to after a tiring day in the bustling city.

A Rose amongst the thorns

Nice hotel close to historic centre of Istanbul
The staff were helpful and polite, and very friendly and their knowledge of the city is useful for first time visitors, especially the reception staff and guest relation staff. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, beds are comfy. The included breakfast was nice and the location is just a short walk from the historic centre of Istanbul.

Ottoman rooms near to food
Our room (superior double) was spacious with a big toilet. Toilet only comes with rain shower but it is equipped with a traditional turkish bath component. The bed was comfortable, overall the room was acceptable and we had a nice stay. Breakfast was nice with a selection. My only gripe was the location of the hotel, which although centralized has a number of slopes that you need to conquer before getting out into the main town. Also, the superior double room we got was nothing like what was shown in the photos (the decor and the balcony). We were only disappointed when we checked in.

A great small super cozy hotel in the historic area of Istanbul. Very comfortable nicely decorated rooms. A wide selection for breakfast. Fast and reliable WiFi. As always, what really makes a place are the people - the staff at the rose garden was amazing. Super friendly and extremely helpsome in every way.

Fantastic Hotel with brilliant staff members.
After having an absolutely terrible experience at Sultanahmet Deluxe Hotel, we rebooked into Rose Garden Suites. We were greeted by an extremely friendly Day shift Manager and staff. He reassured us and settled us in very well. The rooms were clean, neat and very comfortable. The free breakfast had an amazing choice and tasted delicious. I would highly recommend this Hotel to others and especially those with young children.

Good breakfast, attentive staff, clean modern rooms in this boutique hotel overlooking a series of courtyard gardens including the rose garden of course. No elevators so unfit people should choose lower floors. The fifth floor penthouse rooms are quite special. It's a ten minute walk to main tourist sites and the T1 team system. Local area is an older suburb quickly gentrifying .

We enjoyed our stay very much and the hotel provided a comfortable and relaxing environment for relaxing after a busy day sight seeing. The room was light and airy with crisp linen and a well stocked and immaculately clean bathroom. The breakfast buffet was superb. The quiet garden was very tranquil. This hotel is ideally located for seeing all the main tourist attractions in sultan Ahmed Istanbul. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 311 called 'superior double room' with balcony overlooking the garden area which is a lovely room. It is in a quiet location and takes only about 10 minutes to walk to the blue mosque. In the part of the hotel we stayed in there is no lift and are a few steps to negotiate. There is complementary tea, coffee and cake in the lobby area. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location was very good, Staff was brilliant, they help us a lot, they were friendly and kind, they find us cheap tours, taxi and help us with direction. Receptionists was well behaved and ready to help. Hotel was extremely clean and well designed, Denis made the best breakfast and the restaurant was beautiful, she was so lovely and i really enjoyed of our morning chat. During our Stay they helped me to have birthday party for my mum. They arranged everything with live music. Yashar who who was manager of hotel restaurant, he was a good singer and he played guitar. food in restaurants was outstanding, good wine with reasonable price. The final day i have feelings that i leave my family. Highly recommended

Perfect vacation
Staff were very helpful; location ideal, very quaint and comfortable. Good breakfast spread every morning. Lots of stairs to climb but the staff will carry luggage up and down for those who wish. Very pleasant stay. Would recommend and stay again myself.

Amazing place and hyper-friendly staff.
This place is amazing. The staff were outstanding. Deniz helped us plan our stay, greeted us - and everyone else - while at breakfast. The breakfast was outstanding. It was just a wonderful place at an unbelievably low price. Within easy walking distance of everything BUT it is hard to find. We ended having to get a taxi to take us there.
