Be aware that the Economy room is in a basement (fine print). We were unable to open the windows or blinds since they were renovating just outside the room and unfortunately the smell of paint lingered in the room. Since there were no other rooms available, we had to check out early. The area is very close to Taksim and Istiklal as well as public transportation, but rather busy.

Everything excellent at the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. -You need to be cautious when walking around after dark.

The staff at reception, Emrah and Mohamed were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was not grand but adequate and they made sure to fulfill any specific requests. Tea & Coffee and Drinking Water (hot & cold) were available 24 hours. The Economy Double Room was more spacious than the Standard Double Room. The towels were changed every day, if requested.

"Absolutely fantastic stay! The hotel was immaculately clean and conveniently located just a 5-minute stroll from Taksim Square. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout my stay, with Ali standing out for his warm welcome and genuine kindness. I couldn't have asked for better service. Without a doubt, my next trip to Istanbul will include another wonderful stay at this superb hotel."

We had an amazing stay at Amofta. Alex made everything wonderful for us. It felt like we were at home. He is great with kids too. The room was very clean. The washroom is nicely Renovated. Thr place is very small but quaint in an alley way off taksim square. The room was quiet and the beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Alex got us an airport taxi that was on time. We are very happy we stayed here and wished we stayed longer.

Stayed for two days at Amofta, a few minutes walk away from Taksim, and other major tourist areas like Istiklal road and Galata kulesi. Hotel staff were very helpful, rooms were clean, bedding was comfortable. Lift while small, was functional. Only downside is that the area is constantly busy and somewhat noisy. Not a problem if you're passing through like we did.

Great choice for staying in Istanbul
I stayed at the hotel for only half day. Hope I could stay longer next time! The staffs are helpful and friendly. What really surprised me is that we were allowed to check in even we arrived in the morning. It is also fantastic that the staff lady treated us her handmade cakes! Most important thing is the bed is super comfortable! Staying here means you can enjoy the time in Istanbul for sure. Room is Cozy (even not big) and shower room is good (wet and dry separated) . A great designed hotel is classic furbished and clean. Walking distance to the main shopping area. Highly recommended for everyone!

At first appearnce i did not like the street the hotel was on. But after one night realizing that shops around the hotel stay open 24/7 i felt very comfortable with the area and would recommend anyone to stay at this hote, it is very safe. Also at first since i booked a room in the basment i was kinda worried i wont like it. But to be honest it was the most comfortable sleep i had in the 5 days so far i stayed in Istanbul. It is very close to everything that has to do with taksim square area .

My wife and I stayed here for three nights after spending some time on the Asian side of Istanbul. Murat and the rest of the staff were wonderful. This is the type of boutique hotels we enjoy. It is off a side street of mixed use buildings. Amofta is a well maintained property with nice finishes inside. The staff is friendly and pride themselves on cleanliness of the hotel. When we come back to Istanbul, we will stay here for certain. You really get to experience the city culture with the first step out the door. Literally a two minute walk to Taksim Square where you can access all the forms of public transportation you need to explore Istanbul. Plus there are a few small convenient stores just a few steps away.

Very nice very clean, very friendly
Very nice clean hotel. Staff is very friendly. Very close to taksim square, just walk up the street. I was in a bind when I arrived in Istanbul to find a hotel and the staff was amazing in helping me with transportation from the airport and directions to the hotel. If you want a very nice clean hotel in the heart of Istanbul and 5 minutes from İstiklal Street, check this one out. The photo is at the top of the street and right in taksim square

nice stay for few days when you are in rush.
Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, best location, nice stay for 1-2 days when you are in rush. Reception speak good English, helpful staff. Amazing access to public transport. A bit cold for people who wants to have warm room.

Very clean no breakfast and I'm sure was offered in booking but never mind the area is a bit scary but don't go out at night noisy outside after 8pm ish

The hotel location is the best, very clean, quiet, very friendly people and I highly recommend it to anyone. Two guys at the reception Osman and another guy there, both were very very friendly, helpful and great people to talk to.
