Our stay here was amazing! Mayanne was a truly wonderful host who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and at home for the weekend. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the views out the window were beautiful.

Relaxed Stay
We loved the friendly hospitality. Mayanne couldn't do enough for us. She enjoyed hearing about our activities and had good local knowledge. Our bed was very comfortable, the bathroom (though small) had everything that we needed. The view from our room was wonderful. So relaxing. We really enjoyed sitting looking out whilst eating breakfast (including warm muffins or pastries each morning) watching the wildlife, from sparrows in the garden hedge to leaping dolphins in the inlet. It was great to have use of a small fridge and there was also a microwave oven, but we didn't use it. We had a kettle and tea/ coffee/biscuits provided in the room. Tip - have an evening meal in the Old Schoolhouse during your stay. Best to book.

Cozy room with breathtaking views of Loch Dunvegan that is just outside the window, a lovely Continental breakfast cart brought to your room and cheerful, helpful staff. Can’t wait to come back again.

Lovely View and Comfortable Bed!
The stay was great! Our room has the loveliest view of the water. We were able to watch the tide come in and out throughout our stay. Mayanne was helpful and kind. She recommended to book dinner ahead of time, which we did for The Old School (it was delicious). She also provided recommendations for our travel back to Edinburgh and we really enjoyed the tour she suggested.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Minnie’s Rooms in Dunvegan. Convenient location to see the castle and gardens and only a 30 min drive to Neist Point. We had a plentiful continental breakfast included as well which was nice. The croissants were the best I’ve ever had. Minnie was very kind and helpful with any questions we may of had. Highly recommend if you are wanting to see the Isle of Skye. Thank-you Minnie!

Must stay!
Walking up to that view was amazing. Seeing the ocean but smelling the freshness/salinity was wonderful. Also the smell of breakfast was very nice. The friendliness of the host and her lil dog was wonderful as well. I stayed here after going to Talisker/Fairy Pools - about 35-45 min drive. My only feedback is that the bed in my room was way too soft and the towels were a bit harsh. That being said, I would still recommend this spot because of the view, friendliness, comfort of the room, and proximity to everything on Skye.

It was the loveliest hostel, we had. Absolutely stunning! The best service, adorable view to the sea and super delicious breakfast directly delivered to our room. Definitely one of the nicest place to stay on the Isle of Skye. Just book your dinner choice in advanced, we were not able to find something to eat except at the gas station next to Minnie’s Rooms.

A very lovely and small (3 rooms) site, very conveniently located on the Isle of Skye. Contintal breakfast came on a cute trolley, which we ate in our room at a wee table with a beautiful overlook of the loch & an island with sheep grazing. The proprietor was very helpful and Knowledgeable regarding things to do/places to go. Definitely recommend/return to this site

Gorgeous location and Minnie went to the trouble of getting me take-away for dinner because I was so tired. Restaurants in walking distance, but it was raining. Breakfast was instant porridge with fresh strawberries!

It was no problem to pick up your takeaway away for you as I guessed you seemed very tired. Im glad you pointed out that Porridge is available along with the other items on your Breakfast Trolley Freshly baked Croissants or Scones, Fruit Juice, Fresh Fruit, Ground coffee and Tea, a selection of cereals. Next time try the youth hostel or bunk house I think that might be marginally cheaper They are a great way to travel if you are on a budget. Safe travels
