Business Comfort Stay
Comfortable Business stay. We chose this hotel for a business stay. Room was comfortable, clean and convenient but in these Covid-19 strange times, the management was lacking. We were disappointed that despite booking our stay through Hotels.com and paying for that stay online, the Manager of the hotel decided to charge us again for the stay when my husband arrived at the hotel. When we questioned it, the delay in responding to our request was very disappointing and only the gold team at Hotels.com were able to sort it out. Be aware of this when booking and paying online. We got our refund but not from the hotel.

The place was shut when I got there even though on line it says it is open from 2 30 pm and I arrivedat 3 45 pm so had to ring and wait for someone to come half the amenities need updating and the continental breakfast was the very basic they could do would not stop there again as not value for money and it took 4 hours before my room was warm enough to take my coat off

Room 1,fine, good size, large comfortable bed. Quiet location.Help yourself continental breakfast o.k. owner is pleasant and very helpful. Exterior needs tarting up.

The property was in need of quite a bit of money spent on it. The carpets were flat and sticky , the wallpaper , woodchip ! the bathroom avocado, i didnt use the shower, couldnt get hot water, shower curtain not clean. Bed linen felt damp and had a smell, curtains in the room were not hung right, didnt match anything, daylight came through early in the morning, walls so thin, the next room someone coughed in the middle of the night only a few times, it woke me up with a start !

It was like stepping back in time to the 1980s! That horrible plasticky green shower cubicle. Website states a tea & coffee maker which turned out to be a cheap kettle with one little sachet of cheap dried coffee. The so called continental breakfast was cereal, apple or banana, dried coffee, bread and jam! Imagine getting that in the continent! Awful! The room I was in was tiny single cupboard and just outdated! For £45 definitely not worth it!

The room was cold and drafts the tv reception was poor I even asked to move rooms and was advised no other rooms where available when there was only two people stopping. The room was a shame but it looks like they are more interested in the restaurant. Breakfast even for a continental was poor they clearly left it out the night before

Avoid if you can!
Hotel in very poor condition. Hot water only just luke warm. Doors broken. No toilet roll holder or towel holder. TV reception poor and tv at 90 degree angle to bed and semi blocked by curtain - but then reception was so bad we couldn't watch it anyway. Curtains ineffective at blocking out light. Owner arrogant and rude once he realise we had described the room as basic with poor tv reception on a review even though we said the check in was good and the area great. Look else where for accomodation if you can.

Faulty Towers
The bed was reasonable but the carpet was poor condition. Every floorboard creaked. Don't think anyone has ever hoovered under the bed as there were Kirby grips and old receipts in amongst the dirt. The shower (avocado green) was just about big enough for me to use. Very poor water pressure and very tight space! Breakfast...Nothing laid out and another guest who must have stayed there on other nights knew what to do. He opened cupboards to find what he was looking for, but I don't think he expected the whole door to come off in his hand! This hotel is extremely basic. You only get what you pay for. Wont be back. Sorry

Not one of the better places I’ve stayed. Was speaking to the owner and he hasn’t been there long, looks like he’s already changing things so it may improve soon. The evening meal was really good, can’t comment on the breakfast as I left early in the morning.

Not worth the money, better avoided
Hotel is very run down upstairs needs completely repainted. Large lumps of black mould fell out of the cold water tap when I tried to have a drink of water. Breakfast was very poor. Three types of cereal, cornflakes, rice crispies or fruit and fibre. Only orange juice or water instant coffee and only margarine for the toast. Pot of jam had bits of Marg in it. Cheese was plasticky slices. Fruit was banana, Apple or mandarin.

Det var virkelig et tarveligt hotel :( I stedet for at nævne alt det negative vil jeg i stedet sige at jeg ikke kan nævne noget positivt! Et virkelig slidt hotel med lav-selv morgenmad.

Leider sehr herunter gekommen. Die Zimmer sind etwas schmuddelig. Der Wirt hat sich sehr bemüht und war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr karg und man musste selbst herausfinden wo alles steht und wie es funktioniert.
