“Not impressed”

The hotel was not well maintained and dirty. I have bruises from the springs in the mattress. There was no maintenance staff for repairs at night!

“Would go back again”

My stay was pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The staff was polite. Tyrone was on duty when we checked in and he was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was decent. There was a good variety. Overall, no complaints.

“Will stay again!”

Friendly and helpful staff...very welcoming. Requested adjoinging rooms and the front attendance said he would fix us up and he did. Rooms and motel was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed continental breakfast. Motel surrounded by several restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely stay her whenever we visit Chapel Hill! Thanks to the staff for all your help! Very staisfied!

“Great Bargain”

The Microtel in Hillsborough, NC, served out purposes perfectly. The hotel is economical and the service personnel were friendly, accommodating, and helpful; the room was clean and comfortable, as well as quiet. The breakfast -- including hot waffles -- was generous and well-presented. We were in North Carolina to visit other people living in Carrboro, so we didn't spend many daytime hours there, but when we did go into the community of Hillsborough, we found it charming and interesting and the people friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the area.

“One of the very best”

One of the best in the country. Staff were super. My wife left her purse in the room by mistake, staff contacted her by phone and assured her that they would keep it until she returned for it. Sure enough, everything was there and our trip turned out perfect. Russell's Stakehouse is next door and it also was perfect. See you next year.Thanks

“Haw River Wine Trail”

This hotel is situated right in the middle of the haw river wine trail which makes visiting the different wineries super convenient. It is also a very clean and quiet establishment and Hillsborough is such a beautiful little town.

“We'll be back!”

Third time we have stayed here -- I guess you'll agree we must be satisfied customers! The price is right and the service is friendly and good. And, we love the town of Hillsborough!

Area recommendations
Downtown Hillsborough has some great looking shops, galleries, and restaurants. We've always arrived too late, after the shops are closed. We particularly like Tupelo's ... great food and service!

“Good place to stay in Hillsborough”

Rates were reasonable. Easy access to the Interstate. Friendly staff. The only thing I missed was fruit or yogurt in the breakfast area. Loved our room and the easy access to everything. EXCELLENT!!
