One night stay. Late arrival, pressed outside buzzer for gate to open, whoever was at the other end seemed rude and i was made to feel the hotel was shut for the night. Once parked, reception was closed, went to restaurant, the 'smart wise-cracker' appeared, i said i had a reservation with you. In a non comic straight matter if fact reply he said "with me you don't" he walked me back to reception, no greeting, or offer of a drink, coffee etc.. Handed key that was that. You don't expect that type of greeting and its not going to be acceptable to get some glossed over reply from the hotel management. Room clean, bed, the most comfortable for ages, air-con not working, walls, paper thin. Breakfast...all gone, not replenished upon artival, coffee good and BBC 1 on television for brits wanting something other than CNN! Would i stay there again, bluntly, no, would i propose whoever the clever dick was on Thursday 30/10 you invest in customer training, he did your hotel no favours.
