This hotel is located in a residential area of Helsinki, quite a distance from the main core of downtown Helsinki. If going to downtown by bus, one must have Euros with which to pay the fare. Using a taxi is quite expensive but one can use a credit card to pay the fare..
The hotel's property includes a variety of fitness activities that are charged separately. The rooms are rated as being superior or ordinary. My room was an 'ordinary' rating; the single bed has a 2" thickness of foam topping a box spring. Although cleaned daily by staff, the laminate flooring was quite marked up.
A free buffet breakfast is served daily from 7:30 AM until approximately 10:00 AM. In the evenings, Frank's cafe operates daily from a menu with several choices for appetizers, entrees and desserts. Frank is amenable to making changes to the contents of each dish to suit personal tastes.
