This hotel was an easy walk from the station (KTX, subway, bus). The hotel is clean and quiet. The restaurant is good. Staff is very friendly. Good english. The rooms are a decent size. Comfortable beds and pretty soft for Korean standards. Bathroom is good and great shower. Would stay here again.

Main draw is convenience, but the hotel is nice for the price and has a good breakfast buffet (both Western and Korean options; 20,000 KRW). Would stay here again. Easy walk to Lotte Mall and many small places for dinner. Spent 1 night here after taking KTX from Busan to Gwangmyeong station. (Wanted to avoid traffic in central Seoul). The next morning took the airport limo bus to ICN from Gwangmyeong station (10 minute walk from the hotel; or take a taxi if you have lots of luggage). Buy airport limo bus tickets at the station--takes about an hour to get to ICN.

This is my second visit, I love the atmosphere of Gwangmyeong and the staff can speak English well. I would recommend only one thing for hotel to install auto clean toilet seat and it will be perfect. Thank you.

Best hotel for a business trip
It was the best hotel for my business trip. It is the first hotel that I stayed with a bowling alley and darts machine. Being a business trip, there isn't much time to travel to other place. So it was perfect. The room is new and clean. Also there's the bus stop for the airport shuttle just at the back of the hotel. So it's by far the best stay of my business trips.

A little Gem of a hotel in Gwangmyeong-si
Location is great. Airport express bus stops @ the Gwangmyeong KTX train station (50min) which is a 10 min walk to La Casa. Stayed for 2 nites. Checking in was a breeze. Nice cosy boutique hotel with modern decor. In room temperature control was good. Not too hot and stuffy like the central heating in the older hotels in Seoul. Had the Green King bed room which was spacious, new and clean. I would have given it 5 stars except the room was not cleaned one morning. Even when I hung out the “make up room” on the door and pressed the green light for “make up room” at the entrance. One word of caution to those checking in late. The sign at the 7th floor restaurant says opening hours till 2200hr. But when I wanted a meal @ 20:50, the waitress told me the kitchen was closed! Luckily there was a cafe next door still open for sandwiches, quiches and coffee. There’s also a 7Eleven across the road for instant cup noodles for supper!

A New Favourite
A cozy hotel near Costco and Ikea. I like that it is on the outskirts of Seoul, so it is much quieter than other locations. The price was reasonable, bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable Stay
In my recent work trip to South Korea, I stayed in two hotels - one is La Casa Gwangmyeong and the other one is a famous hotel worldwide. I must say that I was surprisingly impressed with my room in La Casa and I prefer it than the famous hotel. It has a scandinavian design and was clean, comfortable, and warm for the winter weather. The wifi is relatively faster too. The location is good as there are a lot of coffee shops and restaurants around. There are also IKEA and Lotte Premium Mall just a stone's throw away from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
