Dreamland for the win!
Our contact Leslie was fantastic! I got a text earlier in the day with our room specifics and since we didn’t get there till very late, was nice to just walk in and fall asleep. Room was immaculate and the bed was just right. The cost was perfect since we are on a budget over the holiday season as well. Will certainly be staying again on drives to see family.

Bad smell was coming inbetween. Didnt know what is the wifi password. So when tried contacting it was hard to reach. Got thw wifi password at the time of checkout. No microwave.

Wonderful & quaint
I was pleasantly surprised!! Because of the stereotype on “motels” I had low expectations. However as soon as I walked in I loved the quaint feel to it. It was clean and comfortable. Leslie was our contact person who reached out via text for the entire stay. I love the text and coded door aspect for convenience, especially with an impatient teen in tow. I will gladly come back and stay here on future trips.

Future guests please note - no fridge or microwave in the room. Bed was firm but comfortable. Noise from US-2 highway traffic not good for light sleepers. Otherwise, room was basic but lovely. Everything was spotless cleaned. Could have used a pen and paper pad in the room and/or some area info, like restaurant suggestions or things to do in the vicinity. There was a nice restaurant next door that opened early.

The hotel was easy and conveniently located. The room was immaculate-the staff was friendly. The restaurant had wonderful breakfast and coffee. The colors of trees were changing and it was a wonderful place to stay while we explored upper Michigan. An excellent place for my aunt to celebrate her 75th birthday!

It was very clean and quiet. I got a text to say I was checked in and checked out, which made my stay very convenient. Compared to other places I’ve stayed it was pretty nice! The bed and pillows were very firm, but that’d be my only dislike.

You arrived before check in time. Our guests arrivals happen throughout the day as you can imagine. Not everyone shows up to their place before check in time. We are glad you found your way down the road. Your absurd behavior is not anything we welcome here at our quiet, clean and enjoyable motel. Our place here in the Upper Peninsula is enjoyed by many!! Your abrasive and down right rude behavior has been reported to Expedia. Please try and be a bit more kind.

We appreciated the location, cleanliness, updated interior, and rate of our room and also that it was pet friendly. Grounds were well kept. Water pressure a bit low in our shower but that was it. We'd definitely stay there again.

Very Bad Wi-Fi, Poor Service from Front Desk
Wi-Fi was very weak, to the point that it would frequently disconnect. Unable to even do basic browsing. There was a Smart TV in the room but it was effectively a normal TV since you could not stream. Only stay here if you have no expectations of internet access. The "front desk" was only reachable by text and could be slow to respond sometimes. They were also not very helpful with our Wi-Fi issue. The condition of the room was fine, but we found the area and motel very deserted when we stayed.

The plumbing was terrible, the toilet overflowed, the shower was clogged and the sink clogged twice by just running the water. Asked for more pillows and water cups but didn't get any. They said they had wifi and it wasn't in our rooms. Pretty bad experience.

Hi Gary we fixed your clogged toilet the first night when you asked. We are not sure why you still mentioned this after it was fixed. We provide 4 pillows per bed and again not sure why this was not mentioned at the time you seen the housekeeping staff. We will definitely fulfill needs if asked.

Very cute and cabin-like vibe. Super efficient check in with door code so no need to go through the reception. Looks a lot better than the pics on the listing. Theres a cute diner right next to the motel open for breakfast. It may seem a bit sketchy because its on the side of the highway in the middle of nowhere, but we were two women traveling alone and felt totally safe. Also clean!

Room was decent . No ice machine on property and WiFi wouldn’t work in room , had to go outside to connect, still could only get 1 bar . Check out time was 11:00 but while packing up the car at 10:30 the 3 cleaning girls sitting outside our room in golf cart waiting for us to get out was annoying and made us feel rushed . Restaurant was pretty good

The room was a lot nicer than I expected. Staff was very friendly and accommodating for when I changed our stay from 2 nights to 1. The room was very clean. The only thing I did not like was that there was no water pressure in the shower. But I was too exhausted to even care when we got there.

The motel was in great shape, recently remodeled, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The only downside was while there was supposed to be free wifi, we were not provided the password, and when we texted the staff as they requested, no answer. This area has very little cell signal, so wifi would have been really nice. Would stay again.

I wanted to love this motel but THERE IS NO WI-FI as advertised. Our phones only had one bar which meant we were unable to access simple information like online maps to help plan our travels the next day. I had to email them to get the door code. Thankfully, I did it in a location where my phone had enough signal and luckily I did get a text with a code before I reached the hotel. My text asking about the wifi was completely ignored. There is no information about the wifi in the room at all-no network name or password. The room itself was clean and comfortable although the fitted sheet was too small and popped off on several corners during the night. The false advertising about the WI-FI is a deal breaker for me. There is not access to a landline either since there is no front desk or lobby. I am sad that I can’t love this motel but I will stay elsewhere in the future since I cannot trust the information in the listing.
