"Vasciano is a lovely haven and Hilary a thoughtful and responsive host. The house is charming and well-equipped. The garden is a real joy, mature and well-maintained - the photos do not do it justice - with banks of flowers, the pool set apart, table in different locations and a built-in barbecue. The situation is peaceful with some local views. Given the rural location, few journeys other than to the nearest village are less than half an hour; there are attractions in every direction, though...

"Loved our stay. So relaxing. Beautiful spot away from the crowds but only 20 min drive to Assisi. An oasis with beautiful views. The dinners were delicious and so nice to eat their as opposed to driving. I would recommend this to anyone. "

"beautiful property, the staff its very pleasant and try to accompany your needs. we traveled with small children and they helped us with all our requests. the hotel has a restaurant on site and dinner was delicious. Also on reception area they have a mini bar ans prepare couple drinks and nice lounge area to enjoy it. i highly recommended. its a very short and easy drive from Assisi and has beautiful views of the city and the mountains. my only small complaint it was the bed was very hard..:(....

The room was full of character, the bathroom spotless, our meal in the Locanda restaurant superb and we even enjoyed the 15 minute uphill walk into Assisi! The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Beatrice on reception and the breakfast room manager Petra. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended"

"Great campsite, beautiful location and not crowded. Lovely pool, good playground and beautiful beach and lakeside area. Port at 1 minute walk with ferries to Isola Maggiore, Passignano and Castiglione. Tuoro train station at 5 minutes walk, so Perugia and Arezzo at 30 minutes. Albeit few trains stop at Tuoro. Two supermarkets at 10 minutes walk. Staff were brilliant; hard to persuade the children to leave the campsite. Overall, excellent and would consider going again! "
