Unprofessional staff
Unprofessional staff. I was told off for taking an apple that it was on display and asked to put it back. 15 min before the official check out time (I was in the shower), the staff started to call my room and finally knocked the door to remind me that I had 10 min left #rude. I have never been treated so poorly.

If you wish any further supply then it is preferable to request it to the reception. Also the reception is directed to signal the departure time before noon to prevent any delay. Regards. A good base to discover Grenoble
The hotel was clean and comfortable, check in was quick and easy. No hassle. Although it was probably a couple of km from the centre, it was 1/ on the same road, so even if walking (about 40 minutes), you couldn't go wrong and 2/ near the tram stop, so easy to get to the centre. Staff were polite and friendly and answered any questions I had. I could have parked in their car park, but there were spaces available on the side road next to the hotel and there were no problems with that either. All in all, a good base to discover Grenoble.

Kyriad Grenoble Centre - vaklue fior money
I would say the Kyriad is a fairly basic hotel and does not have the greatest of amenities (car park being a really difficult space to use). The interior of the rooms is looking a little dated and service is a little slow due to staff numbers. Having said that it does represent good value for money, the rates for the rooms are low (you do get what you pay for), it is located at the end of a tram stop so it is also quick and easy to get into the town centre. The staff are very friendly and despite having a very small and tight car park, it is secure. We used the hotel as an overnight stop on a trip to the South of France and it was perfect for our needs, with the additional benefit of after leaving by car within 15 minutes you are into some of the most stunning scenery in Europe

Inexpensive hotel for brief stay
Ok hotel for one night stay. Room was fine. Non-descript neighborhood. Parking was easy. But I couldn't find a descent place nearby for dinner.

Good location for a stop over
Good stop over -wouldn’t want to stop here for more than one night as quite basic. Good location for access to city centre - very close to tram stop. Breakfast was fresh and good and plentiful .Beds clean but decoration of rooms need a make over soon and a deep clean needed in bathroom

Good Hotel for the Price; Good Service
This is an older downtown hotel in the small city of Grenoble. We arrived on a motorcycle in a driving rainstorm soaked to the skin. The check-in was friendly and quick. They have gated parking, but not many spots. It was full. But as with all Euro hotels, they let you park a bike wherever you can find room for it, so it was okay. Room is average; on the small side. Bathroom is refurbished and typical. Good breakfast, but not exceptional. I'd stay there again, no problem.

Typical Kyriad, not bad, decent rooms. Only downside, bit far out of Grenoble - good 30 minute walk to the center although the tram outside is an option....

Nice little hotel. No luxury, but had everything I needed - clean rooms, free wifi, TV... The only downside was the neighbourhood - as soon as I parked the car near the hotel past midnight, I was approached by a lady offering her services. Nevertheless, overall I was left with a positive impression.

One of the best
This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms were perfect, the staff was amazing and very friendly, and an added bonus is the secure parking. Whether you are staying for one night or for a long stay I would highly recommend this hotel over all others.

One stop up from a hostel
Fairly clean but small awkward room, terrible wifi, and somewhere I'd only recommend as a place for travelers who are getting 8 hours rest and moving on. Paid around 100 euro the day before Tour de France Stage 18 up L'Alpe d'Huez but wouldn't pay more than 50 euro on any other day of the year.

better than expected, glad we chose it
on an 11 day european classic car tour, this was simply an overnight stop, but deserved a longer stay, on arrival staff SUPERB, evening meal fantastic [in fact better, we'd expected a sandwich !!] car parked securely [important to us] central enough for Grenoble AND our satnav actually got us to the door [a first !] english spoken, well, if only Patrick owned more !!! WITH this team. Congratulations, we're impressed. No kettle in room but flasks filled free with no problem.

We were only here for one night, so don't to sound too harsh. But it certainly isn't as close to the "centre ville" as some previous commentors have suggested.

Great value and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms.
We found the hotel really easily after leaving the motorway having travelled up from Nice. It was great to have free parking. We found reception staff to always be helpful and friendly. The room wasn't huge but had everything we needed. 24 hr room service meant there were no free tea/coffee making facilities which are common in UK hotels and which we like to have but it wasn't a big deal. The shower was fantastic!! We preferred to eat out for breakfast but there did look to be a good variety of options when we passed. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the old town and isn't on the tram route and though we enjoyed the walking, it may not suit everyone. There is a new tramline under construction though so that will change. There is work underway st the hotel which is nearing completion hence the slight deducjtion in marks. All in all, we found the hotel to be very good value for money and would stay again if in the area.

Fantastic hotel in a ropey neighbourhood
No complaints with the hotel itself. Room was clean, comfortable, very welcoming and well appointed. My clean-freak wife breathed a sigh of relief after opening the door and seeing the room for the first time. Staff were very friendly and helpful, although ordering room service was an experience as the lady on reception wasn't fluent in English. However, as we were in France and not the UK it's hardly fair to mark the hotel down on this basis! The food that arrived was nothing spectacular (the wife was actually quite disappointed with it, finding the selection of cheeses to be un-appetising and disappointing given we were in France), but it filled a hole and did the job. Just a shame it was expensive for what it was. The location of the hotel itself was a little ropey, but the gated car park allowed us to park the bike overnight without worrying about it. Whilst not a particularly glamorous neighbourhood, the location was convenient in so far as it was easy to get back out of town onto the main routes.

A bit out of ythe way
The Hotel is clean and comfortable. Parking is also easy and free. It is about three km away from the city center and there are not many dining options within easy walking distance of the Hotel. It works fine as a business Hotel, if the location is ok. Staff was friendly and helpful. Meals were available using room service. Breakfast and coffee was good.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Staff were very friendly. Felt that charging 1 euro for a little jug of milk was a bit excessive though. Breakfast had a very good selection of food and you could have as much as you like. Evening meal deal was good value.

The rooms here are terrible and smell like fungus. The bathroom is disgusting. I can't believe this was rated high on Tripadvisor. Would not recommend.

Hotel Patrick - France
The Hotel was very nice. Just recently remodeled. I thought the room was extremely clean. Patrick at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I do not speak much French and Patrick was able to talk with me in English. I would go back again.

The hotel is very centrally located, only a 25 min walk from the train/bus station, fairly easy to find following the map. Looks rather tiny from the outside, but is rather big and cozy inside. Interior - pretty modern and stylish. The guy at reception - most helpful and speaks a decent english. Rooms have almost anything except for cutlery and an electric kettle. We asked for a cork-screw (un tire-bouchon in french) at reception and got that within a second, along with some dessert spoons. When leaving you will be asked to pay the city tax which is as little as 80 european cents (around 40p) per head. we only stayed there one night but would surely come bk there again.

Chosen for its price and location (allegedly five minutes from downtown, but in actual fact a 25-minute walk), the hotel had a staff that more than made up for the dust on some of the in-room fixtures. -- Staff were friendly on arrival and went to great lengths to assist when our travel plans went awry. The lobby and breakfast area boasted contemporary finishes, which made for a pleasant environment. The coffee was a tad strong one morning but staff provided custom-brewed cups to the tables that asked.

It is an old nice Hotel with good service.
The Hotel is good and well located. Has a parking lot. Provides breakfast which was good. It has only one small elevator and the rooms are small. It is clean and the bedrooms are also clean. The beds are not too confortables but you sleep well. The bathroom is also small but you can take a good shower.
