An incredibly well-preserved 19th-century mansion is located a few miles away from downtown Greenville. I stayed in the Captain’s Suite, which was probably the most incredible room I’ve ever slept in. You’ll be treated like royalty. The owner, Brad, will sit with you at breakfast (note: the breakfast is amazing!) and explain the history of the property in detail. Incredible experience.

Absolute jewel! Received a fantastic welcome from host Brad. Beautiful and relaxing house with an abundance of history as discovered at breakfast. An absolutely stunning property that is worth staying just to look around, beautifully decorated in period furniture. Brad is an excellent host and spends time to talk and tell you all about the property. It is comfortable and in a quiet area. Well worth a visit.

We absolutely loved our stay at the 1857 Belmont inn. It was a delightful historic old home with a very comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Brad was a very gracious and helpful host. All the furnishings were so lovely and wonderful to enjoy using. We had the Captain’s room. We loved it!!
