Hives from Private Pool
The location of this Hotel is excellent. Directly on the beach and includes access to their beach lounge chairs with umbrellas. It is adjacent to a coastal hiking path to other beaches. Numerous great restaurants, bars, even a mini-mart are at the front steps to the hotel. No taxi or car needed. We had a water-front room with a private pool and patio. The view was amazing and fun to watch the mega yachts and beach people come and go, while still having decent privacy. My wife enjoyed using the private pool. I did not - sitting on the pool deck, I dropped one leg into the pool and within minutes that leg broke out into hives. I showered it off and a few hours later decided to test the other leg because I didn't want to waste all the money spent on such a nice room. The other leg also broke out into hives. I informed the front desk, but they offered no compensation or solution. (Note that while in Greece, we stayed at 2 other properties with private pools and neither caused me any issues). The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. I would stay there again, but i wouldn't spend the extra money for the private pool. Note that my wife did not have any reaction to the pool water. Sadly, I needed to wear pants for next 10 days of my vacation because my legs looked like they had some terrible disease. The burning and itching also interfered with my sleep. I am writing this review 11 days after the hives started and they still are not completely gone.

Great location at the quiet end of the beach and not crammed in like the rest of the serviced areas. Great staff. The music from the other beach clubs was very loud. Also the hotel sells umbrellas to the public including families and dogs which we think is odd for a 5 star hotel that claims to be adults only.

This is amazing views at night of the water and boats that come in. Staff is excellent super helpful when I left my phone in a transportation car. Do yourself a favor there are not many taxis in Mykonos book your cars ahead of time through the hotel or take the bus which the bus stop is walkable to.

We loved our stayed and Angelo made everything so easy, he is extremely helpful and gave us a lot recommendations and made reservations for us at restaurants. The breakfast was really good, having the beach chairs included was a plus, the location its close by a lot of beach clubs. Overall we will definitely come back again.

This was 5 stars all the way. Besides the fact that the property, rooms, and beach are all gorgeous, the friendly and accommodating staff take this place to another level. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful, and Angelos went above and beyond with providing suggestions and help. The breakfast is also amazing, and probably the best selection I’ve ever seen in Greece. The location is also very convenient with a lot of things to do within walking distance, and even driving into town was only about 15 minutes. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

10/10 i will be back to this hotel. The location is perfect. Close to party- walking distance to Scorpios Santana and Kalua. Plenty of options for dining nearby. The most important thing about this place is the service. Angelos went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Did i mention the view and beach area were also incredible? Thalassa boutique sets the bar high for all other hotels. From the beginning the staff makes you feel appreciated and taken care of. The location is perfect. Each room is steps away from the pool or the beach. Our room was spacious and clean.I suggest having breakfast downstairs with the view of the Agean sea. Fresh fruit and yogurt with honey was our favorite way to start the day. If you need a good recommendation ask Angelos where to go. He has great knowledge of the area and will point you in the right direction. This is a must stay venue, it will not disappoint.

The hotel looks very new, great showers and the location is perfect. The beach chairs are steps away from the hotel and the beach service is great. Perfect way to relax to start your day. The menu is simple but if you get sick of the food, you simply go to other restaurants on the beach. For getting around the island, you can take a 5 minute walk to the other side of the beach to take a bus into town (very cheap option), Scorpios, Santa Anna, Kaloua, soho house is a 15-20 minute Scenic walk. If you don’t want to walk, you can work with the hotel to get a private transport to any location. Angelo and staff were great, all speak great English and easy to communicate.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect the staff were amazing. Everything we needed was “no problem”. They arranged all our reservations to beach clubs and any restaurants. Breakfast was included and it was right on the beach. The hotel has It’s own section of the beach with beach chairs and service. Angelos was so nice and eager to help. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you to everyone at Thalassa for an excellent week.

Property is well located and close to all the major attractions. What we didn't like was that the rooms are small especially the bathroom and the walls are thin so the noise from within the existing clients makes it hard to get a good night's rest

This was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I have ever had and would rate it 11/10. The location is great, and our room (Junior Suite Ocean View) was amazing. More than anything, the staff here was phenomenal. Angelos was incredible, and the entire staff was very accommodating. Amazing staff and property. We had a last minute booking to Thalassa hotel and they made sure our experience was five stars. Angelos and all the front desk staff helped us plan our 4 day stay in Mykonos. Their service was top quality. They helped us get reservations to the best spots in town. Always made sure we had a front beach location and access to all Mykonos has to offer. Hotel location was prime too, but the best part of staying here was their amazing staff. I would stay there again and recommend to anyone going to Mykonos.

Stay at Thalassa was great! Location is wonderful, right on the beach & they provide free beach chairs and umbrellas which is a HUGE benefit (normally you pay at least €50 for these). They provide free breakfast which is pretty good. The views from the hotel & beach access makes it WELL worth it. The staff were all super nice & helpful!!

Thalassa Boutique Hotel offers a well located, high-end amenity accommodation right on the Platis Galos beach. Checking in wasn't the most pleasant experience. If you are arranging transport though the hotel you need to be very specific. Once we checked in we enjoyed a spacious room, access to beach chairs, and the crystal blue ocean waters. Be mindful of how much moving around yo want to do as taxi and transport can add up quickly. All and all we really enjoyed our stay.

The property and site are beautiful and staff was very friendly ..the complimentary breakfast was full service and delicious. The freshly squezzed orange jiuce was the best I've ever had. We had a short circuit in the room and phone issues but all were addressed quickly. Apart fron this..with the exception of a slow draining sink it was lovely time and recommend

I didn't like that the view from our room was obstructed by the hotel's spa and lot's of foot traffic. We couldn't even open our patio door as there were always people sitting in the pool bathing chairs right in front of our door. The reservation for a room with the see view was not considered.

I loved my stay! It was on the beach yet felt like there was the privacy that other hotels did not offer. The beach in front of the hotel was also not crowded. We enjoyed the included beach chairs and umbrella everyday. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were also greatful for the included breakfast that was available until 11am. A short walk to the other side of the beach gives you easy access to a water taxi to take you to other beaches and bus into town. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Mykonos!!!

We had an amazing 6 day stay and it was perfect the whole time we were there. Breakfast was great - so many options! A massive benefit is that the sun loungers on the beach were part of the stay, compared to other hotels along the beach. The pool was also great. Our room was really comfortable, cleaned well and so nice to come back to at night. Fantastic for a couples holiday! The only thing which was a little annoying was the hotel next door as they played thumping music for most of the afternoon which was unnecessary, completely not our hotel’s fault.

Robbery
We got robbed at night while sleeping. They took all our valuables( jewelry, watches..), money, and personal belongings. No security cameras and poor surveillance. Mykonos police was at no help. Be aware! Totally ruined our trip...

Location is amazing all people working in the hotel are beyond amazing they really take care of you, food is delicious, the beach is beautiful! This is the place yo staying in mýkonos, beach clubs are close by. Even you can walk to Scorpio the town is just 10 minutes driving and there’s also a bus station! 💯 % recommended
