Wonderful hotel! The morning breakfast in the hotel courtyard was outstanding as was the service. It was a great start to our day as we visited all aspects of Old Town Rhodes. Being able to walk out the door into the old town streets was wonderful and made for low stress visit. We'll be staying again for sure!

This was an amazing hotel with a wonderful staff! We stayed at several places in old town and their breakfast was #1! Great selection, made to order and a great setting to have breakfast! I can’t say enough about this hotel! We will be back and I highly recommend!! The only improvement I would call out was the bathroom towel bar being broken. A minimal detail considering everything else was awesome!!!

What can I say I stayed in the Queen room with a jacuzzi tub. I felt like I was transported back to another time. All I needed was a lady’s maid. The property is spotless. The staff is amazing. Breakfast is made to order and they have a wonderful variety and fresh juices. The antique touches are just darling. It’s on a nice part of the Old Town so there’s no noise. Everything is nearby. Restaurants and lots of shopping. They are committed to service as the owner personally took me to the harbor as the taxi was late. Don’t hesitate in booking this property. Fantastic!!!

Our room was medieval with modern bathroom, air conditioning, and TV. We arranged a taxi with the hotel beforehand and were dropped off and picked up within the Old Town (highly recommended). Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Best breakfast of our entire trip!

Gem in quiet cove of Old Town
Experience was excellent. Staff was very accomodating, low-key, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and filling. I really appreciated the attention to detail with the staff in the kitchen and the silverware pouches with the handles out for COVID awareness. The front staff was very friendly and I cannot speak highly enough about the room, the location in Old Town, and will definitely return to stay here.

The rooms and hotel are incorporated into the structure of the fortress of Rhodes. All very old and well preserved. Everything to see in the citadel and castle are within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. Parking offsite was actually quite easy and the walk itself to the hotel was about 7 minutes.

Simply SUPERB!
My husband and I stayed four nights at this lovely and charming hotel on Rhodes. Owner Mariana and her staff are all delightful, and the service is excellent. So much love and care have gone into this exquisite property --- the rooms, garden where a delicious breakfast is served, and rooftop terrace are all beautiful. The hotel is perfectly positioned --- within the thick walls of the Old Town, but in a quiet section away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area so that we could get a great night's sleep. Yet it is less than a five minute walk from all the action, so we had the best of both worlds. Mariana and her son both went beyond the call of duty, which really helped us out. The plug adaptor we brought from the U.S. didn't fit and the two that we bought around town didn't work, either, which meant we couldn't charge our phones or the laptop we brought. Mariana's son had the right adaptor and gave it to it as a gift --- we were at the start of a six-week trip, so it made a huge difference. And the morning we left for a very early ferry ride to Kos, Mariana drove us to the port herself after no taxi driver was available. Their kindness and graciousness will always be remembered and treasured. STAY HERE, YOU'LL BE SO GLAD YOU DID!!!

Very nice. comfy stay in crazy Old Town Rhodes
I got in late but Maria was helpful and quick about getting me settled. My room was in the annex. Mariana, who runs the place, was warm and welcoming the next morning.She was all-around helpful. The roof deck was a nice place to sit. Breakfast in the garden courtyard was wonderful. Her drivers were terrific as well.The bed was comfortable, the shower was good and the AC worked well. The wifi was pretty good; not too much buffering. I liked the location within the Old Town; a bit set back from the main action, although still lots (and LOTS) of people walking around during the day (but evenings were relatively quiet). Because hotel rooms in Greece (at least all I have experienced) don't have floor coverings, I heard everything that happened in the room above mine. When they came in after midnight, dropped something, moved a chair, etc. it woke me, or kept me up. The lighting in the room could use improvement. The room was quite dark as it was set back with a big courtyard in front. If the heavy drapes were open, I got some sunlight (there was only glass in the front (door and side panel windows), but then others in the annex could see into my room if they were coming or going. Luckily I brought a headlamp, which I used several times. There needs to be more and brighter lighting. Lastly, I didn't find the pillows to be very comfortable (as I have not in any place I've stayed; I prefer soft, squishy pillows and have yet to find that in Greece.

We would like to clarify that due to the medieval rooms being housed in a 1522AD historic medieval building and with respect to the architecture and heritage of the building, the installation of modern soundproof systems on the floors is not only prehibited by law but also we would not interfere in such ways in such a historic building even if it was allowed. We never had noise complains in the past, but we would like to apologize if you experienced it. Regarding the natural light of the room, again we are not allowed to just open windows and interfere to the building's architecture in such a destructive way for more light, we need to respect the building and it's history and understand that a room that is called medieval and it is housed in a medieval building might not be a standard room with a lot of light or other facilities that other rooms in our hotel offer. Lastly our pillows are brand new, we keep them in perfect condition and it's another thing that none has ever complained about, you say that you couldn't find a pillow to suit your needs all over Greece (!!!). I would suggest if there's a need for a special pillow that suits your needs to just travel with one as it is impossible for a hotel to have the perfect pillow for every individual. A hidden gem
Beautiful historic setting. Very quirky and relaxed. The owner is one of the nicest, chilled ladies I've met. If you go there stressed you'll leave without a worry. The lady who served breakfast in the court yard honestly and I mean honestly, could not do enough for you. We will definitely be going back.

That was by far the best hotel i ever stayed! Best location right there in the old town you get that feeling that you live in the castle the building has a great history behind it the owner will tell you more about it and also show you pics she is the sweetest lady i ever met very warm person and kind! The room was a great combination of medieval times and modern as well! The bathroom is very modern and clean and the whole room is basically new! Breakfast is amazing truly it feels like you are in a restaurant with the best server! Very kind beautiful lady! Service in greece sucks when you go out to eat but this hotel i will highly recommend to stay there in the yard even for lunch and dinner! Everything is made from scratch and its always fresh! This hotel is worth much more !

AnnMarie (apologies for spelling) owner of the hotel is a lovely lady, arranged our taxi from airport to hotel and return, met us from our taxi & welcomed us personally at the front entrance… checked us in and explained where everything was to eat, drink, sight see, accompanied with local maps to get around… lovely cool and peaceful room with balcony overlooking beautiful courtyard complete with a lemon tree and statues of the Greek Goddesses to share your lovely breakfast with, put on by the Nikolas Hotel.. thank you for a lovely stay

Anniversary stay
Very warm welcome upon arrival, was showed to our room in an annex which we requested and it was stunning. A very comfortable bed and breakfast the next morning was awesome. I would absolutely recommend staying, the location is perfect to both the Old Town and the harbour.

This is a magnificent hotel in Rhodes old town. Beautiful and clean hotel. The service and breakfast are fantastic. They even arranged a taxi for me to get to the airport at 5:00am for 35 euros. Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.

Marianne gave me advice and numbers for a taxi, she was extremely approachable, helpful, and could give recommendations on what to do, where to go etc.The room was beautiful, comfortable bed etc. Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of food. Friendly and I would highly recommend it to everyone. No trouble spared.

Wonderful Hotel
I had a wonderful stay. The owner, Mariana, made me feel like a family. The breakfast is excellent and the room is very nice, and the location is perfect for walking everywhere. Highly recommended!
