The apartment was well-equipped, the environment was pleasant. There was some noise from motor cycles as the hotel is close to main roads. The staff was very friendly. Beds were narrow, but fine. We didn't use the pool, but it seemed to be pleasant.

Lovely staff at this hotel
I had a very pleasant stay at Dimitra Hotel! The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. My flight was delayed and they provided very clear instructions straight away on how to check in after hours. They also helped with bus schedules to Heraklion centre and to the airport, and were generally just lovely people. The room was very clean and the location is convenient. Just steps from the beach and surrounded by restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, hair salons, pharmacies and bus stops in short walking distance.

Excellent place to stay.
Excellent accommodation, with nothing too much trouble for the staff who were helpful at all times. I had an issue with the lock on the bedroom door and it was sorted within 20 minutes. Breakfast was fine, although the occasional change to some of the products on offer would be nice. It's about 30 metres from the beach with about 6 or 7 restaurants there as well. The pool area is clean, if a little under used due to the proximity of the beach. The centre of Kokkini Hani is around a 10 minute walk where the 2 bigger supermarkets can be found. Would I stay again, certainly.

Positives: Lovely, friendly staff. Taverna's, beach etc very close by. Room was spotless. Bathroom nicely done, looks newly renovated. Air conditioning effective and fairly quiet. Free parking at hotel. Negatives: Bug net to ventilation shaft broken so mosquito's came to visit when the bathroom light went on...despite keeping the door closed, I was bitten in the night. Only 1 pillow on each bed, couldn't get comfortable so poor nights sleep. Breakfast had wide choice for a small hotel but poor quality, eg: orange squash not juice, cold meats had lots of colouring. Had croissants and toast so fine for our 1 night stay.

Lovely friendly hotel, close to the beach.
Great location opposite the beach and close to restaurants and shops. The rooms were good value, nice swimming pool, friendly staff and great breakfast.

Cretan Hospitality at its finest.
Booked second time 5/16/15. I was lucky enough to spend one more night at the Dimitra Hotel before flying north the next morning. Once again I found the owners to absolutely wonderful. Hotel is in great location, right across the road from beach, near Iraklion airport for early departure or late arrival, short bus ride into Iraklion saving having to fight traffic and find parking, access to good restaurants, grocery store and café’s. Room clean, breakfast delicious. I would definitely book a third time if opportunity presented itself.

Hidden gem in Crete.
Just home from five nights at this delightful hotel. Everyone at the hotel is friendly with help given when needed. I had a good sized room with a view down toward the village and the sea to one side. The breakfast buffet is generous and there was a good variety of food to choose from that was all fresh and tasty. I travelled as a lone female to Crete and felt completely safe during my time at the Dimitra Hotel Apartments. The sea is very nearby. Care should be taken when the water is rough. There is a very strong current which even I as a strong swimmer found a problem. The hotel pool is clean and a good alternative to the sea.

Mgr. very helpful and nice. Breakfast delishious. Easy access via very comfortable bus to Heraklion plus close to airport which is also on same bus line. Hotel sits adjacent to historic ruins of Niros. Plan to stay again in 2 weeks.

After a mix up with my booking due to the website not updating in time, I was unable to stay for my first 2 nights planned. The hotel couldn't do enough for me however. They booked me in to a hotel nearby and offered me free breakfast everyday.They picked me up when it was time to stay here and I couldn't have been happier. Travelling on business meant I needed good wifi signal- which is quite hard to find in Greece. This hotel was excellent for wifi! Comfy, nice clean rooms and a nice pool area. The breakfast was very simple but was fine for me. I wouldn't normally have picked this area and didn't really have time to explore so I can't give a full opinion. If I was to be in the area again however, I would definitely stay here and recommend it to others. The staff were so friendly, I was sad to leave.

Clean & comfortable hotel near the beach
We had a comfortable stay in this hotel, the staff were helpful, the room was cleaned and beds made daily, comfortable beds & the air conditioning was great. Just seconds from the beach, and opposite a bus stop which will take you either towards the east of the island or west towards Heraklion city centre or the airport which is about 15 minutes away and costs a couple of Euro. There is also a swimming pool which was pretty quiet and not too busy, with the usual umbrellas and sun loungers. All in all a good place to stay.

Perfect little apartment and hotel complex. Family owned and runned by the family. Very good and friendly service! Nice clean pool, with 2.4m deep end. Clean, functional rooms with big balconies and many of them with nice sea view. Cute and friendly little dog greets you every morning. Home style breakfast everyday and the owners are really flexible with reservations and changes. Located in the heart of Kokkini Chani with all the services in walking distance. Supermarket, taverns, beach clubs, bars, cafes and mini markets under ten minutes by walking. All and all a very good place.

Hôtel très propre et personnel accueillant Nos amis avaient la chambre 103 et n’entendaient pas beaucoup de bruits. Nous avions la chambre 4, le corridor était très écho entendions tout ce qui se passait. Un chien aboyait tôt le matin.

L'hôtel est agréable, propre, bien équipé, facile d'accès et l'accueil est chaleureux. La chambre est spacieuse et d'un confort simple mais suffisant pour les vacances. Le petit déjeuner copieux peut être pris en terrasse pour bien démarrer la journée.

Es wird sich mit sehr viel Mühe um den Gast gekümmert. Für den Preis war sogar Frühstück mit dabei - Alle Achtung. Waren schon einmal im Dimitra und würden es wieder buchen. Ein Linienbus hält quasi vor der Tür und bringt einen für kleines Geld zB.nach Cherssonissos oder Malia oder auch einfach nur zum Kreta Aquarium. Zimmer sind sauber und alles top für 3 Sterne

Une nuit à Dimitra hôtel
Nous avons passé une seule nuit dans cet hôtel, situé non loin de l'aéroport. Nous avons été accueillis extrêmement gentiment, la personne de l'hôtel nous a préparé un très bon pique-nique pour le lendemain puisque nous partions à l'aube pour notre vol. L'hôtel est très propre et les lits confortables, nous retenons cette adresse pour nos futurs voyage en Crète, la proximité, 10 min, de l'aéroport est un réel plus pour les départs matinaux, un départ de l'hôtel où nous étions en vacances nous aurait valu 3 heures de route en pleine nuit. La taverne située à une centaine de mètres nous a servi un délicieux repas à un prix très raisonnable. Nous sommes ravis de notre choix.

Hôtel sympa et bien situé
L'hôtel est idéalement situé, proximité de la plage et de l'aéroport ainsi que de pas mal de commodités. Le personnel et super sympa et disponible, nous avions une chambre que. Plus trouvions petite et malgré que l'hôtel soit complet ils nous ont changé de chambre et avons pu avoir un appartement avec notre bébé. Les appartements sont plus spacieux que les chambres de l'hôtel par contre les douches sont trop petites difficile de se doucher. Excellent hôtel pour des gens pas trop exigent sur un endroit où dormir, pour nous c'était suffisant.

すごく良かった
街から離れているけれど、そばに落ち着いて食事出来る場所もあり満足でした。ホテル内も清潔感があり不便はなし。早朝出発でホテルのプールは使いませんでしたが、夏場などは最高だと思います。

excellent rapport qualité prix
Choix de l'hôtel uniquement pour sa proximité et la facilité d'accès à l'aéroport d'Héraklion ainsi qu'au centre ville par ligne de bus direct ; en contre partie faut accepter l'inconvénient de bruit généré par le passage incessant des avions. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Excellent petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet. Seul bémol, pas de bouteille d'eau offerte pour notre deuxième séjour contrairement à l'annonce de la réservation.

Wir haben uns im Dimitra wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Kommen sicher noch mal wieder. Preis-Leistung stimmt einfach. Vom Flughafen Heraklion ist man schnell am Hotel. Man verliert also keine kostbare Urlaubszeit. Wir sind mit dem öffentlichen Bus gefahren. Es lief alles reibungslos.

comodo solo per una notte
pieno di zanzare (zanzariere alle finestre assenti) e, a dispetto di quanto letto nelle altre recensioni, molto rumoroso. (gli aerei si sentono, eccome!!) Il rumore del frigo (vuoto!) si sommava a quello degli aerei: notte totalmente in bianco! Peccato perchè la camera con il terrazzino, un bagno completamente rinnovato con una bella doccia comoda, potrebbero essere una buona sistemazione almeno per una notte. Causa il rumore e le zanzare è impossibile fermarsi più giorni a meno di non munirsi con tappi per orecchie (non so se bastino) e zampirone chimico.

Posizionato vicino al mare, ma le spiagge sono piccole e non molto attrezzate, va bene per relax assoluto per la vita notturna bisogna spostarsi nelle città vicine a circa 20 minuti con il bus
