This place is amazing. It’s deceptive from outside, but once you check on paradise opens. Implacable service and views are out of this world. 10out of 10.

Absolutely outstanding!! A beautiful location overlooking the caldera..who needs an Oia sunset when you have a better one from your sunbed. The staff are amazing and really do everything to make your stay fantastic. The chef is great and we ate at the hotel 3 times in the week, enjoying the sunset. Defjnitely recommend staying in Megalochoria, it’s Greek charm is still there, has amazing restaurants and is nicely away from the crazy that is Oia and Fira. Thank you Spyros and the team..we will be back!

I liked that there were no kids and everyone respected others privacy. I also liked that the staff was very accommodating to you needs: attentive for excursions, meals and transfers. I wish the pool opened earlier and stayed opened longer.

This was one of the best hotels i have ever stayed at in my entire life. The views were amazing, the staff was even better, and the food was unbelievably good. It was the best meal we had on the island. I could not recommend this place more.

Every moment there felt like a dream. Going from Seattle's cold drizzle to this place, the weather, vibrant blue colors, and the amazing breakfast didn't even seem real. The suites are right on the cliff edge, and some of the dining tables can look right down the cliffs out to the sunset. Absolutely fantastic.

Absolutely stunning views, immaculately clean and beautifully appointed rooms, big thick fluffy towels, beautiful private pool with our suite, very quiet low traffic area, lovely reception staff, delicious breakfasts with huge portions, and super friendly staff. The only things that could be improved would be a softer more comfy mattress and the ability to completely turn off the hot tub in the bathroom, which made the whole bedroom hot and humid when it was running. We would definitely return to Athermi Suites!!

Communication was great, they always replied right away to our questions. Booked us taxis and cleaned the room every day. Food was good too, and the cave resort we stayed at looked exactly like the pictures.

Utterly outstanding
I’ve probably had the best stay I have ever had ever had in any hotel from hotels.com. Everything about this hotel was perfect. It was 15 minutes away from the airport, free parking. The room was amazing with the most incredible views. Everything you need is in the room. The pool was very quiet with enough beds for everyone and no one rushing down at 7 o’clock in the morning to reserve beds. The breakfast was amazing served by the lovely Ariana. There is a romantic table you can book for 150euros Which while I would highly recommend for anyone looking for the ultimate romantic place. It includes all food and all drink and was utterly outstanding. The food on the poolside was incredible and just overall, the most amazing place to stay and I can’t wait to go and stay there again as soon as I possibly can do.

The most beautiful and amazing hotel in Santorini, exceptional staff and customer service in reception and restaurant specially the nicest lady in Santorini who works in restaurant. Cave pool villa is super unique experience as well as romantic dinner on the cliff. Thanks to all staff in amazing Santorini Athermi suites and looking forward to stay in this exceptional hotel again.

Simply amazing
The hotel is outstanding, situated in a quiet location towards the south of the island, next to a beautiful small village. Restaurants and small shops and a bakery are minutes to walk to. The setting is absolutely stunning overlooking the Caldera, with a pool and sun loungers positioned to take in the full view of the ocean. The room was so tastefully done and everything was of a very high standard and so comfortable. It really felt luxurious. The breakfast is fantastic and the menu for other meals is also very good. The staff were so helpful and couldn’t have done more. They are happy to help with any advice on the island, organise taxis etc or equally will leave you in peace. True professionals. Covid - I felt very safe - a small bottle of hand sanitizer was provided in the room and in other areas of the property sanitizers were provided. All staff wore masks and made everything very clean and safe. Very impressed with the measures taken.

A fantastic stay at the Athermi
We had high expectations having read the reviews and the Athermi didn’t disappoint. The room, facilities, restaurant, bar, pool...everything was perfect however it was the Athermi Team / staff that made the our stay exceptional - nothing was too much trouble, we were looked after so well and will be returning ! We had the Athermi Suite with Jacuzzi and it was worth every penny ! Make sure to dine in their restaurant at lunch or evening, food is fabulous, great choice of local cuisine - best Greek Salad and Cocktails on the island !!!

A fantastic time at the Athermi; hotel is lovely, the pool, restaurant, bar, hot tub and our room all amazing however it was the staff that really made the experience exceptional - we were well looked after by housekeeping, service in both Bar and Restaurant was top class and Spyros did everything possible to make sure we made the best use of our time. A beautiful hotel in a great locationz Will be returning, we absolutely loved it !

Perfect Honeymoon Location!
Best stay on our honeymoon! We had the most amazing time and the room we stayed in was perfect. With the jacuzzi overlooking our private pool outside which overlooked the water and mountains- completely breathtaking! The breakfast each morning was great, and you could sit outside and overlook the views. The staff was so friendly and helpful and helped to organize all of our adventures. They even helped to book us couples massages that came to our suite. Hands down best spot we have been!

Really loved our time here. I know the more popular options are staying in Oia or Fira, but I really wouldn't recommend it. It's super crowded, and we saw countless people hauling luggage up and down cobblestone streets. Being in Megalochori put us close enough to Oia and Fira for restaurants and shopping, but it was really nice to be removed from the crowds. Megalochori also feels much more like a traditional Greek village versus a tourist town. As far as the hotel, we were super pleased with how accommodating and helpful they were. Our room was well-equipped, and the views from every part of the hotel are wonderful. The food is surprisingly good also. I have a feeling this place will be much more expensive in a few years when we are able to return, and it will no longer be in our budget because they are knocking it out of the park.

The staff at Athermi Suites were extremely helpful and friendly at all times. The hotel is a real gem! In the middle of the island and just a stone’s throw from Thira, it is the perfect balance between crazy and quiteness and, most importantly, it offers excellent Caldera views to admire the sunset

From day 1 of our trip from the receptionist to the young lady that got us our food and drinks these 2 people alone made our trip so memorable that it was our best part of our 5 stops As for the views of sunset and ocean A+ Crowded place (NOT) A+ The young lady had made us a fruit bowl that was great Very clean establishment A+ Also suggested us certain foods That were great And number 1 she had me fresh chicken soup when I wasn't feeling good and was a great chicken soup I cant thank you enough for a great run establishment and crew you are amazing and I would definitely recommend

I could not have asked for a better experience! The room and view were beautiful, the food excellent, and the staff extraordinary! I traveled by myself and was very nervous. The staff made sure I was taken care at all times, especially when I needed medical care. I highly recommend this hotel and I can't wait to go back.

Great little boutique hotel, with lots of attention to finishing touches. You do need a car to get the most out of staying here, but it's worth being a bit off the beaten track.

Beautiful Hotel
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and the hotel is perfect. The pictures don’t do the views justice. We stayed in the honeymoon suite with the huge jacuzzi bath and double width balcony. It was so lovely we didn’t want to leave the room for the first few days! The hotel is about a 10 min drive from Fira, but only a 5-10 minute walk to the village of Megalochori, which is small but has a bunch of lovely restaurants that are much nicer and cheaper than places in Fira or Oia. We had a hire car which really helped explore the island but I wouldn’t say it was necessary to have one. If I had one complaint it would be that we didn’t really enjoy the boat trip that was recommended by the hotel and the mattress was a bit hard but everything else was perfect. Many thanks to Spyros who did everything he could to help us!
