Without doubt one of the best accommodation I have stayed in. Nice and comfortable, extremely friendly and helpful staff who make you feel welcome and cannot do enough for you. Reception and management do everything to ensure you are comfortable, cared for and happy. Would highly recommend this complex to anyone.

Did not like the steps with no elevator, but it would not keep us from going back. The walk up and down the hill to town was rough, but doable and good exercise. However, the hotel offers free shuttle service several times a day and taxis are easily accessible if you’re not feeling the walk. There is a shop with friendly owner at the top of the stairs and plenty of great restaurants a stone’s throw from the top of the steps. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The view is incredible and there are plenty of things to do.

so we arrived late at about 00:00 and check-in is 24hrs and we were greeted nicely at the front and our bags were taken from us to take through a van down the slope towards our room- what's so cute is the fact that there was a little shop opposite the hotel that specifically stayed open for us upon the hotel's request for us t get water and snacks even though his closing time was half an hour ago the property is so much prettier in person I didn't want to leave! the property also has a free shuttle bus at 11 am, 3 pm, 6 pm to and from the main road which is a very steep 20min walk or 5min bus service which was convenient staff were very friendly and helpful the area is very quiet calm and peaceful and the resort in itself has many aesthetic photo ops! don't think I would say its convenient though for people with mobility issues or the elderly- has a lot of steps or a very steep slope breakfast was tasty and good variety room sizes are very big good for families i would recommend booking the garden/duplex rooms! lots of cats in and around the property

Clean property with nice pool and amenities, about 1km away from Hersinosis seafront and busy night life. Located on a hillside, within Asterias Village Resort there are lots of steps. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Two night wonder!!
Only stayed for two nights, wish it was a lot longer now. Staff so friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and safety was first class. Totally recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff and excellent facilities for the whole family. Well maintained with good standard of cleanliness. Restaurant food was reasonable and very good value for money. Only negative comment was the 62 steps as my wife had an ankle injury and found it vary difficult to get up and down.

Solid not spectacular
Nice, fairly basic resort. Staff were excellent, location is good and breakfast pretty decent for 'continental'. Lots of steps if you're at the bottom of the resort but no problem for us. The accomodation is very basic and a little outdated but spacious enough. Wifi was terrible but didn't impact our break.

Very nice Hotel
Lovely facilities and all staff are very friendly. From reviews and talking to other guests - many come back 2 or 3 times which tells you all you need to know. Perfect for several good quality and friendly restaurants. Supermarket across the road and 20 min walk to vibrant beach front town.

spacious clean apartment with great coastal views from the balcony.We had great wifi in the room a safe and airconditioning all included at no extra cost, unusual in my experience abroad but great pr for Asterias and a pull for us to go there again if we go to crete.

How this hotel has one star I do not know!!
Spent our second week in Crete at the Asterias Village at the end of June 2015. We were slightly worried because of the 1 star rating on Expedia but the pictures looked nice and the reviews on trip advisor were overwhelmingly positive. I must say that I cannot fathom how this has 1 star. More realistically would be a 3 star, has all the basics to a reasonable standard, nothing fancy but what more do you want, you come for the weather the at the end of the day. Pool was lovely, quiet (we went when it wasn't quite school holidays so may be different in August) and there are cracking views out to see from the pool area. We paid for a sea view and were not disappointed, would recommend the extra expense. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant (Oliva's), there are so many tavernas in Koutouloufari we didn't feel the need. Eating out is not expensive at all and every meal we had was superb! The only criticism would be 7 euro per day for air con in the room is a bit steep. We didn't get it and just left the window and balcony doors open for some air which was fine except for the odd mosquito! All in all a great place to go and would definitely recommend it to others.

Chambre moderne, excellente décoration, service a l'écoute. La piscine risque d'être trop petite en haute saison compte tenu du nombre de chambre. En raison des nombreuses marches cet hôtel pourrait ne pas convenir à toutes les clientèles. 20 mn de marché pour aller dans le centre ville. Bon choix de Restaurants dans le secteur.

Goeie locatie midden in de strip van Piskopiano. Voldoende restaurants, mooi uitzicht op zee. Een minpunt; geen warm water gedurende dag. Heel laat op de avond wel.
