Elena and her dad are so helpful! Elena helped me modify my reservation without charge even when Expedia didn’t confirm with her about the change. The location is about a 10 minute drive away from Mykonos town and the bus about 5 mins walk away from the hotel only comes once or twice an hour so you’ll have to try and time your itinerary otherwise you may be waiting a long time. One thing I didn’t like is how small the shower is. I’m quite small but I could barely move around in the shower without bumping into the tap or the walls. The shower head was also full of green lime scale so that wasn’t that appealing. Also the TV was mostly in Greek with some movies in English with Greek subtitles. Unfortunately there was no microwave to reheat leftover food I had.

A gem in Ornos
Excellent location. So convenient to Ornos bus stop and Ornos Beach. Very nice staff. Pool with lounge chairs a big bonus.

Our room was very comfortable. The view, incredible! with a table outside on the terrace to have breakfast or simply watch a beautiful sunset. A place to return without a doubt. Excellent.

Anixi Hotel
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Anixi hotel. The location is very convenient - only 10 minutes to Chora by bus. The bus stop is a few minutes away, but the bus often comes late. The Ornos beach is only a 10-min walk which is nice. There is also a grocery store nearby and 2 bakeries. The hotel has beautiful water views from some rooms. The room we stayed in had a nice patio, but the room needs some updating, especially the bathroom. The height of the bathtub could be an issue for older people trying to get in and out. Adding a few hooks would help as well. Daily maid service was nice. The TV does not have channels in English, but you can find some movies that are in English. There is a mini fridge but no plates or utensils. Breakfast is not included, and it is 15 euros if you eat at the hotel. There is a nice pool. The staff is nice and friendly.

The staff and especially receptionist was really nice and helpful. They helpfully gave bus schedules, directions, and set up my taxi to the airport. The location is pretty good, close to both beaches in Ornos and down the street from the bus stop. If you don’t want to pay Mykonos town prices, this is the accommodation to choose.

Perfect stay
Absolutely gorgeous stay, lovely owners, perfectly positioned close enough to the beach but enough distance to be quiet. Blissfully relaxing, very comfortable room and best bathroom we’ve had in Greece, we will be back

Nice and clean
The hotel is nice and clean, but if you want to enjoy the beach not the ideal location, but overall the hotel and at least our room was very clean and spacious, we are family of five and the room was very comfortable for our stay!

Excellent customer service. Rooms cleaned daily. Towels replaced daily which probably wasn't necessary, every other day would be fine and more environmentally friendly. Breakfast available if a little "bread" heavy, some fruit would have been good. Pool area gives respite from the beach and it's well maintained. The only downfall was the proximity to the main road from Ornos to Mykonos town which was very noisy until the early hours of the morning.

We stayed here for a week at the end of June. Our room was on a higher floor so we had a view of the beaches at Ornos. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Eleni gave us a kettle to use and was very helpful with any questions we had. There was always lots of hot water for showers and maid service every day. The only negative was that unfortunately it is on a very busy and very noisy road.

From the moment we checked in until the time we checked out it was a lovely experience. The whole experience of staying with them was like a visiting a family and staying with them and not like staying in a hotel. Very friendly and very helpful! Highly recommend Anixi Hotel and their hospitality was one of the best experience in our entire trip!!!

The family that owns the hotel is amazing. They are very nice and flexible. The property is at a prime location and is very clean and spacious. We loved Mykonos and Anixi .

Hidden gem
Great location, away from busy Mykonos but close by bus (10 minutes or so for 1.80 euro each way). Public beach close by as are restaurants and convenience stores. Accomdations were very nice and comfortable, private patio to enjoy an evening outside. Would not hesitate to recommend, staff accomdating and personable.

Hotel is in a very good area on the island - easy for exploring and getting around. However, we did find that the duvet cover on our bed was filthy and covered in hairs from past guests. Otherwise the room/hotel was exactly what we needed

We stayed in the hotel for two nights and we had a lovely time, spending most of the day in the beach at Ornos. We had our two year old son with us and the hotel staff were very helpful in terms of collecting us and dropping us off to airport and preparing the room with a cot. Our room was separate to other rooms so, we could not hear any noise from other guests and we had a balcony which overlooked the other bay of Ornos. We were impressed with how clean and quiet the hotel was and how kind the manager and her family were. It is a 10' walk to the main beach through a rather busy road but, we did not mind this much.

Ask for a room with a mattress
I could have rated this hotel 5 stars except for one major flaw - the lack of an actual mattress on the bed. The bed did not have a mattress but a very uncomfortable box spring. I could not get any sleep with the metal springs poking into my body all night. I have visited over 20 countries and stayed in 40 hotels in the last 3 years and I have never been given a box spring as a bed. We paid top dollar for this hotel and didn't even get a mattress. The location of this hotel was great, close to the beach and an easy bus ride to town. The family who runs the hotel is great, very nice. We got a free pick up from the port by the owner. Lots to like about this hotel if not for the box spring bed. I hope the owners will replace the box spring with an actual mattress. The other major flaw is very slow wifi but I could have overlooked that for a mattress on the bed. Maybe the other rooms have mattresses. If so ask for a room with a mattress and then I think most people will be happy with this place.

It is so important that guests tell me what they do not like in the room or what really bothers them, as I am not able to know that. This family run place was absolutely perfect. We would definitely recommend staying here. The staff went above and beyond, the location was really good and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Good no frills hotel
The hotel is well located, right by ornos beach. It is easy to take the bus into mykonos town from here. The room is perfect if you're not planning on spending too much time at the hotel, as it has all the necessities you need but is quite dark at night (especially in the bathroom) and the beds are very firm. Overall we had a good stay here.

Clean and newer hotel right by the beach. Very clean and nicely kept. 5 mins from the main town centre. Such a beautiful stay and the staff are amazing. Highly recommend

Vi blev så positivt överraskade över hur fint hotellet var. Det var gångavstånd till stranden (ca 300-400m) och busshållsplatsen in till Fabrika (på fabrika kunde man åka vidare till hamn/paradiso/flygplats) låg 50 meter från hotellet. Rummen var fräscha, poolen var också fin och fräsch och personal var så hjälpsam. Rekommenderar verkligen!
