Nice stay in Graz
We wanted somewhere close to the train station, and this hotel worked out well. It was clean and the room was even a bit bigger than we were expecting. The center of Graz was in walking distance as well, and that’s where we spent most of our time. It was a good stay!

Great Graz Hotel
This hotel is a fine choice in Graz. It is next to central train station. Grocery and shopping are very close by.

Great location, right across from Graz HBF and a Spar. There are numerous buses and trams within a 2 min walk. Breakfast was really nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were not comfortable, is my only complaint.

Extremely near to the main train station. Very friendly service staffs. If you don’t mind a bit of noise(because it’s located at the busy main road), this will be a good place to stay.

A nice clean and tidy hotel
This was a nice hotel next to the bus and train station. The hotel was clean and tidy with helpful staff. It was a 30 minute walk to the center of Graz but buses were in front of the hotel. The breakfast was a nice buffet .There was secure paid parking under the hotel.

I"ve been to other Ibis hotels before and I know they are all just about the same so normally I would know what to expect. This one though I'd say it"s a bit below par. Needs some updating specially in the room. Breakfast was very good. Location is great if you want to be close to the train station but somewhat far from the city center. Did a lot of walking. Overall it's an ok hotel but if I was to return to Graz would stay somewhere else.

Place is ok near main train station
Place is ok near main train station. But walls are very thin and you can hear every move in the other room. Breakfast is not very reach and juice is low quality. And the fruit where a little old. There is only thermostat in room bat do not work and where a little cold in the room. It is good for people who have to travel by train

The hotel is well located near the central station and just at few steps there is a big supermarket open until 22:00 (unique opening time in Graz where all shops close very early). If you like walking you can reach the city center in 20-30 min, but several Tram and bus bring you directly at the hotel. The vicinity to station is very convenient if you want to go off of the city in the weekend to visit other places in Austria.

Very Close to train station with super market within minutes walk. Very basic but without tea and coffee at common area as stated. Staffs are nice and helpful. About 30 mins walk to city center.

Noise nightmare -- would like my money back
There was hammering and drilling directly adjacent to the rooms in the same building from 7am - 7pm on the days I was there. I am NOT sensitive to noise -- I live in a major U.S. city. But this noise was so intense I could not block it with foam earplugs. It was absolutely jarring and LOUD. I tried moving a room on the other side of the same floor and it was only very slightly better. When I complained I was given one free breakfast as compensation -- that's it! The proprietor of this hotel should have warned all guests of this construction in advance of their visit, as the property was basically uninhabitable from 7am-7pm. As I had to work later into the evenings, I got very little sleep while staying at this awful Ibis.

It was awful. I am not sure how all rooms but in my air condition was right in the wall laterally over my head and blowing all time - no controller in the room that could switch it on/off. On reception promised me to turn it of but it was not. In the shower water was not gone.

Location, clean, service, price - all perfect
This hotel is in the perfect location for train travellers, right across the road! Very friendly and helpful reception who spoke good English. The lift to the rooms is a good size. The bed was comfy, great bathroom with hair dryer. The shower is nice and strong with even temperature of water. Fully opening windows are great for fresh air. Wifi was good except for having to log in every time I opened my iPad. It was all very clean. Supermarket, cafes, trams across the road. Highly recommend this place for all ages. One of the better Ibis hotels we have stayed in for a good price also. Thank you.

It is nice that they have reception 24-7 and bar also. Parking is charged 12.5 Euro. Breakfast only until 10 and that means sharp 10. free wifi is consistent but verrrrrryyyy slow. Wouldnt stay there again.

Fine for a 3 star hotel. Close to train station. I probably wouldn't get breakfast there again though, as you can do better for cheaper at the train station across the road.

Handy for the trams
Perfectly sited for a 5 minute tram ride into the centre. The front desk staff spoke very good English and were very attentive and knowledgeable. Car park under the hotel

Good value hotel, conveniently located
I am a regular business user of this hotel. It is a good value place to stay, and very convenient for the station. I noticed this time that the WiFi service (generally a weak point for Ibis hotels) was much improved. Graz has now introduced a City Tax for hotel visitors, which is not part of the hotels.com price, so expect a small bill at the end of your stay.

Great hotel in Graz at reasonable price
I needed a budget hotel that was clean and quiet. That's what I got. Clean room, quiet location (although near the train station). In fact, close proximity to the station was very good. Staff were very helpful and professional. There is a Spar convenience store at the train station which is handy for buying all necessities.

I was visiting family so needed somewhere to stay for a few nights. I used to live in Graz, so know it well. All I needed was a bed for the night. Check in was quick, the room of moderate size. The bathroom was very small and could have been cleaner. I did not have breakfast as one can get a fantastic breakfast cheaper in other places and I felt 11 euro was overpriced. It is convenient as it is right beside the train station, especially if arriving late or leaving early. Taking the tram, which leaves every few minutes brings you into the center in less than 5min.

Excellent business hotel
This is the second time we have used the Ibis Graz. Our work is just outside the city, so being next to the Train station is immensely convenient. The rooms are clean and functional, the bed comfy. Being next to a station is not so quiet with the windows open, and you are a 15 minute walk from the City centre. But for a business trip with early starts in the morning and late evenings, that was not an issue.

Basic stay, but unsurpassable at that!
Things I really liked: a great bed that I slept in like a log, very close to the train station but you heard NOTHING all day and night, barely audible in the morning the sound of running water from adjacent rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful, hotel is literally 2 minutes from the platform and light rail lines that take you most anywhere in the city. Also at the train station a supermarket open until 10 PM. Bathroom warm, clean, and looking NICE. Don't get me wrong: the room was no gigantic, if you want a small fridge, keep looking, no iron in the room. But should I ever go back to Graz, this is where I would go, any time.

Loved the location, but that was it.
There was construction in the lobby during our stay which caused the elevator to be out of commision more times than not, plus we had to walk in and around the work beign done. This caused frustration for both the hotel employee at the front desk alogn with us. The worst part of our stay was our last night when a group of 30 or so young people (17-20 years old) who were unsupervised that arrived in a bus. They stayed up all night long drinking and walking the hallways, talking loud and banging doors. So to say the least, we did not get a wink of sleep. When we question the hotel front desk what they were doing about it, they said there were too many of them to really do anything so they ignored them. This was an absolutely terrible experience for any of us that stayed in the hotel this night.
