The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is located in the center of Seven Mile Beach along the clear Caribbean Sea. The waters, teeming with colorful sea life, invite snorkeling, scuba diving, and relaxed swims. Guests can snorkel and dive just offshore, but the resort also provides boat rides (surcharge) to the best sites. The resort rents snorkeling and diving gear. Windsurfing and motorized water sports are available through independent providers along the beach.
The Ritz-Carlton's tennis center (surcharge), with three red-clay courts and a grass court, a separate backboard, and water views, was created by Nick Bollettieri, coach of many champions. The resort has two outdoor pools: one oceanfront and paired with a spa tub; the other on the North Sound side. The fitness center offers complimentary group classes such as Body Sculpting and Soca/Reggae Aerobics, with surcharges for personal training.
The nine-hole Blue Tip golf course, designed by Greg Norman, includes five long Par Fours into the Caribbean trade winds, which make a 470-yard hole play like 600.
At Stingray City, a 10-minute boat ride from the Ritz-Carlton, visitors can swim under, over, and along with the rays, and hand-feed them, too.
