No guest allowed to visit you.

They would not let us check in before 3:00pm and when we finally checked in 3 hours later, they still weren't done cleaning the room. We had to tell the staff to leave already so we can go into our room at 3:05pm. Plus the staff called as soon as we got in the room to tell us no guest are allowed. (Our friend was with us due to not being able to check in before 3:00pm)

Not bad for the price

Pretty close to NAU! Room was clean. Breakfast was basic but expected for the price!

Stay here for terrible experience!

Posted 25-Sep-2014
The room was cold, dingy and had 1 working lightbulb. The staff was even worse, the clerk at the desk spoke down to me and felt the need to tell me 4 times not to smoke in the room. I'm not even a smoker. She even had the nerve to tell me she wanted to make sure I understood what she meant by everything. As if I was not intelligent. I'd rather sleep in my car next time.

ok stay, clean and expensive

Posted 23-Sep-2014
Pros: it was in flagstaff and it was clean.
Cons: I am not a fan of Indian cooking odors (rice and curry) in the hotel room, so perhaps that could be switched over to "neutral" smell.
Location: On Hwy 66 main road in Flagstaff, close to all shopping and restaurants. And if you are nice, you might get an Indian meal from the hotel caretaker.
expensive probably for the time of the year "September", $120 plus 12$ tax via expedia... Flagstaff was booked out and I had to take one of the lower quality hotel, which turns out not too bad. The rise and Indian cooking could be smelled in the hotel room, which is weird for an American hotel... but then again, the Indian hotel keeper was very nice, and the room was very clean.

Flagstaff

Terrible hotel! The beds are super uncomfortable. The breakfast was cereal... If I had to chose between sleeping in that bed or my car. I would take the car.

Not a Good Experience

Posted 23-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
I won't stay there again. Started with us calling for directions and nobody knew anything. Not even close. Room was cramped. Had a desk chair and lounge chair against wall that you couldn't pull out far enough to use. One bed was hard, the other had middle caved in. Ice machines were upstairs and inconvenient. Trains ran by hotel all night. Very noisy. Continental breakfast was incredibly skimpy. REI would say about 40% less than other hotels. Just an overall bad experience.

Just OK

Room was adequate, but towels were flimsy & room smelled slightly mold. Air conditioner also looked old & possibly in need of cleaning ( it was a window unit). Noise from train across the road will also possibly keep light sleepers awake.
