“Clean, friendly, quirky hotel”
Very high standards of service from room cleaning, to general tidiness, to service at breakfast. The pool is lovely, it is in the shade in the mornings which is a shame but lovely in the afternoons. The room was really nice and their were options to rent DVDs, use the internet, play pool and table tennis. Really close to the beach - about 3-5 minute walk.
“More than expected, refreshing honeymoon”
I booked Heritage suite and room was truly authentic. It was refreshing stay at Lemon Tree true to its name. Food served in Citrus Cafe was awesome while staying there we never thought of eating anywhere else. Republic of noodles server really authentic Pan Asian cuisine. It was life time experience. Hotel was surrounded by market and all beaches of north Goa are nearby. Thanks lemon tree for such a amazing hospitality I would definitely recommend lemon tree to others.
“Lemon Tree Amarante- An oasis in Candolim”
This hotel is a great location in Candolim. It is situated right in the middle of Candolim, with restaurants, shopping and beach within easy walking distance and everything else north Goa has to offer a short taxi ride away. The hotel is a very good standard for Goa, internationally probably a 3 * standard. The staff are great especially with children. Just be aware of what your package includes because the desk staff are not always so well informed. the expedia rate we took was bed, breakfast and evening meal but the hotel allows you to take lunch insterad of evening meal if that suits. A great idea with family. All in all if you are looking for high standards for Goa at reasonable rates this would be my recommendation.
“Recommended 4 Star Resort”
Good - 1. Good staff and service 2. Nice, clean resort and room and pool 3. Cafe Food and places inside resort are really good 4. Few good places to eat around, Jazz Bar, Noodle Bar etc 5. Nice and quite location 6. Clean beach behind resort, less than 5 min walk 7. Friendly Bar Staff Bad 1. Resort far from Airport 2. Slightly on expensive side if you are local 3. Not much to do around the resort if you are looking to do much, in mycase i wanted to relax so ideal place. 4. Resort has some annoying pets (Dogs and Cats) might bother you while you are eating
“Lemon Tree, Goa”
A short walk from the beach - all public spaces had a very open concept which is nice when the weather is not too hot - but impossible to air-condition when it is too hot. The room was nice, great shower, very quiet. The Republic of Noodles restaurant onsite is great (food) - same comment about open concept and heat. Breakfast buffet was OK but not great. There are other Lemon Tree hotels which offer much better breakfast buffet fare.
“Not Impressed”
air condition didn't worked, staff not relay friendlily its like a stay in a 3 star hotel
“Great hotel”
We stayed for 2 weeks on a relaxing holiday to Goa, really nice and clean hotel and fab buffet breakfast included. Really nice pool area, clean room, only 5 mins walk to the beach and set back from the main road which has lots of restaurants on it. Would stay again
“Would Recommend”
The hotel was quite cute and very clean. I would definitely recommend it to a friend... The beach was a 5 to 7 minute walk from the hotel (which was our only destination on our quick 2 day stay before heading to Kerala). The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and if anything went wrong, the staff was quick to help out. The complimentary breakfast was ok.
“Its Basic”
I was originally meant to travel with my partner, but in the end i went alone due to him not recieving his visa on time from the Indian Commision in London, This whole visa issue added so much stress and strain to both of us, we sent over 3 weeks travelling to the Indian Commision to try and sort this problem out. They are extremley unhelpful and rude, aswell as being racist; i suggested to the manager there that i wanted to contact the High Commision in Dehli and i was told by the manager in London '' They dont want to hear your story, your a foreigner to them, they dont care about you''. I wish that we had been warned on how difficult it is to deal with them, and that all holidays to India should have some sort of warning!!!
“Very impressed”
Although very expensive compared to nearby hotels I found it to be a really good hotel. Clean and comfortable the service was second to none and the restaurant attached served the most fantastic food. Drinks in the hotel cost about three times as much as nearby bars and restaurants.
