Little disappointed in the hotel. Have to go to the restaurant that sits in front of the hotel (not attached) to check in. No coffee maker in rooms. Dark, narrow hallways. Won’t be returning.

Restaurant full of employees but no one is working, no food. Can't check in - door locks are being changed. Can't check out - manager is using computer from home. Isolated location near railroad. What a disappointment. Room was clean though.

The bed had blood. This property is isolated from everything and has no proper address. They don't provide a coffee maker in the bedroom which forces you to buy breakfast at the hotel's dinner.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds but they oversold those rooms so we were given a room with 2 double beds instead. The floor was so sticky our shoes stuck to it while we were walking throughout the room; it was not cleaned adequately. And the room was not ready for us until 10:30 p.m!! Baymont has a contract with the railroad company -- it seems they are given priority on all room types and times and everyone else gets whatever is leftover after the railroad employees are taken care of. We will not be staying here again.

They say they offer free breakfast and that is not the case. You have pay for it. The location sucks because if you blink you will miss it. The bed was okay. Not what I expected for what we paid for. Older bed with springs. Room was descent. Barr minimum for the price.

No sign at door saying where to ck in. Address is wrong online so maps couldn't get us there, and was told they knew was wrong and haven't bothered to correct. 8 pm and had to send someone to see if room was ready and found it was occupied, so they gave away our room. I pd for a king, got a queen, no discount. Was not impressed with the hotel at all.

No lobby check in at restaurant reserved 2 king rooms only one available was offered king suite then that not available then double queen room went to room it was single queen back to restaurant supposedly no other rooms available then got double queen but it was supposedly handicap which was okay got to room not handicap obviously they either lie or don't know anything about rooms. Motel supposedly full but less than 6 cars in lot

Bad service both before, during and after.
Do NOT stay here. No daily service at the room, so no towels no scrubbed toilet, nada. We reduced our stay at check in by one day but they were still VERY happy to charge us for the final night even though we were well within our cancelation period. Upon calling to get charges chamged they refused to refund the entire day of charge and still charged taxes on a stay that never happened. Bad experience, do NOT stay here.

My name is Anna and I am the general manager at the Baymont Inn and Penny's Diner in Glenwood Minnesota. I apologize for your experience at our hotel. Unfortunately we are not doing stay overs everyday but we are more than willing to give you service if requested. I am sorry you weren't informed of this at check-in. With the towel situation we have a front desk agent that is always willing to get more towels if you guys were to need them. I will share this with my staff so that we can better serve our guests. I appreciate you taking the time to write a review so that our hotel can work with our guests to make stays better.
