“Extremely helpful and friendly service”

Very friendly and helpful desk receptionist and also during breakfast. Breakfast was hot and had several options as well which pleased all members of our family.

“Not what we are use to.”

The people working at the motel were great: friendly and always willing to help. However, the room itself was not what we have become accustomed to when staying at a Hampton. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. What really grossed us out was that the inroom coffee pot and the ice bucket were kept IN THE BATHROOM. There was no convenient place for the women to put on their makeup or fix their hair. The quilting on the beds were very lumpy. The weekend breakfasts were great, but during the week they were awful. (Coffee wasn't great at any time.) Reminded me of a rundown hotel. Despite the warmth of the people who worked there, we will choose another motel next time.

“Convenient Comfort in Dubuque”

This hotel is very clean and rooms are updated. Bathrooms were large with a nice, clean walk in shower. Staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast area was also very clean and convenient for a nice breakfast in the morning.

“excellent”

Hampton Inn was very clean. The pool and whirlpool was exceptionally clean. We had the breakfast - it was excellent! We will always look for a hamption inn from now on when we travel.

“Happy People work here!”

Has to be one of the best experiences we have had. These people give a whole new meaning to SERVICE. Everyone was helpful and after 7 days there it was like leaving an old friend when we checked out. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was typical for a hotel breakfast but always there was a smile that went with it. Great Location to get around Dubuque from. I will be staying there again when we visit Dubuque.

Area recommendations
Don't miss Field of Dreams (yes where the movie was made) it is free and a fun experience. About 20 minutes from Dubuque.

“Galena trip”

“Would go back anytime.”

Service was excellent. The people went out of their way to be helpful. The morning breakfast was great. Excellent choses and great quality. It was complimentary. I had friends at another hotel and they had to pay extra for it. My wife is very hard to please and she was very happy with our stay. Great place.

“Great Weekend Getaway”

The Hampton was wonderful. Friendly staff, large clean rooms, great spa area, wonderful breakfast buffett, Close to shopping and convenient to other attractions. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Dubuque.

Area recommendations
Eagle Pointe park was wonderful view of the Mississippi and the leaves were beautiful. The downtown old area was fun to shop in the little shops and ride the tram to top for a wonderful view of the city.
